This story was heartbreaking. The book was very well written. I started reading and didn't want to put it down. The insight the writer gave about all the characters was excellent.
I hope David Temple rots in hell. What a waste. May the Lucas family finally have some peace. Rest peacefully in the arms of angels, Belinda and Erin!

Another page turner by Kathryn Casey. Ms. Casey has a special gift, talent for writing true crime. You almost feel like these people are you neighbors and you are watching the story unfold right before your very eyes. I really cried at the end of this book. Such a sad story.

This was an excellent book and well written. I found the story fascinating. Ms. Casey provides interesting backgound and history of the families and friends involved. My experience with other true crime books is that sometimes the writer will provide extraneous trial information. Not with this one. Each witness and their testimony was interesting and I enjoyed the information provided on the prosecutor and defense attorney's strategy. It is really scary that someone who seems to have so much going for him would be this deranged to kill his beautiful wife and his unborn baby. This guy is a narcissist and I would venture to say that his upbringing and parents may have contributed to his personality disorder.

Ann Rule was right when she said that Kathryn Casey is one of the best true crime writers. I rank Ms Casey right up there with Ann Rule. Once you start reading this book you won't want to put it down. I highly recommend this book.

What a great read. Kathryn Casey takes her time building characters. We know these people and know them well before the crime is introduced. Foe me, that is one of the hallmarks of a great non-fiction writer and I must say, she's one of the best?
This book is hard to put down. The tension starts as a trickle then builds into a flood stream.

This murder was horrible, plain and simple. But I have to say it wasn't interesting enough for a whole book. K. Casey is a good writer but she really didn't have enough meat to work with in the case.
