This book was so well written and impossible to put down. It never felt like the authors were embellishing or filling in the blanks like some true crime books do. It gave deep insight into Josh and Susan's relationship and helped explain the seemingly unexplainable.

I was waiting on a really detailed story of Susan and this book did not disappoint me. I had it pre-ordered for months. It gave us details and situations never made public before. It was heartbreaking that this could have possibly been avoided. This book will take you there. Awesome read.

It is amazing to read just how far institutional political correctness colluded in the events that killed three innocent individuals. This book is well written and researched, which in turn make the tragic events retold that much more disturbing.

I love reading true crime stories and was following this story from the beginning. I remember seeing Susan's beautiful smile and aching for her loved one's. This was one of the best books I have read in a while.

I had heard about Susan Powell's disappearance and live in Puyallup so I was really affected by the outcome of this story. This book was written very well. It's extremely sad and I pray that one day the Cox's will have closure.

This book revealed so much more information about what started out as a missing mother case that turned into a murder/suicide. It detailed much of the struggle Susan went through in her marriage, what her parents, family, and two small boys went through after her disappearance, and what sick and twisted people Josh Powell and his family were/are.

This book was beautifully written, about a horrendous , unnecessary ordeal. To bring grace to painful memories is hard to do, facts were given without being disrespectful to anyone involved. It was written with great care.

Wow! What a story! It really helped give the background of this disturbed individual and the family around him. It is so sad that with as much as they knew about him, they could not protect those adorable children! a page turner for sure!

I enjoyed reading the book It was excellent and i may read it again and when you know it is a true story It makes the book that much more powerful. I just hope that they will find her body before another winter is upon us.

Predictable, easy to guess the course of events to follow. Sad in how the so called agencies that are supposed to protect, specially children one would think, always appear after the fact. A father and son, that fully deserved each other, but certainly not the nice people that crossed their path. Father scheduled to burn in the pits of hell if there is any justice in this life. Easy to want to skip pages, no surprises here. 3 Stars.
