It is historical fiction but based on a court case that was brought against Uris himself for having written something about a doctor in the holocaust camps. You learn also about the judicial system in England. Very interesting reading!

It certainly was an attention getter, absorbing and totally incredible how inhuman we humans can be!! Very well written with drama and power and the author certainly not only wrote History that should never be forgotten, but wrote a good book, made his character very believable and human, whether good or bad.

love histroy written by Uris. When I finished this book i wanted t reread Trinity. Uris is a favorite of mine because he is able to accurately retell history with a beautiful story which in my opinion helps us understand the true human impact of the time.

I am still rd reeling from this books r revelation s it is so true that no one can truly know how one would act under circumstances. We would like to believe that we would remain human _ who knows??? So e say to be righteous!! Leon Uris is one of the greatest writers!!!!
