The Wedding Planner & Organizer

Bought this for a friend, she thought it was awesome and used it for her wedding. Mindy Weiss is a very successful wedding planner here in Los Angeles and if she says this is how to organize your wedding stuff, I'm sure it's the best way to do it.

Love this book. Has really helped me stay on track and keep track of everything for my wedding. Has lists of questions to ask different vendors that are very helpful and I would have never thought to ask. Great tool to have around!

I really like this wedding planner. I like how it has slots to put in papers and contracts. I also like how you're able to add in vendor information and business cards. It's a very convenient binder to keep all of your stuff in for your wedding planning and also comes with a bunch of great tips. I like this so much that I bought it twice, once for me and once for a friend when she got engaged.

Purchased for my daughter for her wedding. Handy for tips and checklists. Definitely worth the section about changing your name! Pockets for storage and business card slots. The hard binder is a plus too for carrying. Worth the money.

I bought this to help organize my wedding. Then, after the wedding it was destroyed from overuse, but I wanted to keep it as a keepsake of the big day and all of the decisions that went into it. So, I bought another one to keep the ideas in for memories.
I know, I know...I'm crazy.

Just lovely. Product was as described and shown in pic. Has a section for the most important parts of wedding planning. I am actually using this as a part of my dream/vision board process. Yes, I can.

I received the binder within two days, as I recall. I was quite pleased with the content of the book. It has all the information one could need to plan a wedding, including how far in advance to do tasks and how to go about doing some things. The color is pleasant--a soft blue and the tabs are extremely helpful when trying to find information quickly. I especially like the guest list listing and the pockets in each section in which to keep notes and other items, which one needs to have at hand. Also I am able to add additional pages, if needed. I would definitely recommend or give this product to brides-to-be or mothers of the bride who are planning a wedding. I have been using it almost daily since I received it and like it very much.

The one drawback was, on receipt of the binder, when I removed it from the box and opened the binder to review its contents, the bottom ring would not close completely and causes the pages to come undone at that site when I use it. I was in a hurry to use it, so I just kept it. I did not have time to return it and get another. The one that I sent to my daughter was in mint condition and she had no complaints. Overall very pleased.

Love it! Guest list organizer not ideal for a large wedding, but good for writing and organizing your wedding party. Also, while the pockets are handy, I wish they were bigger! Don't fit an 8.5x11 paper easily. Overall, great help though! and good advice!

The BEST for those preparing to get married, I couldn't be doing my planning/organizing without it! Takes away the pain staking stress of creating your own, and great memorial of the chaos involved (haha).

This organizer is beyond perfect for the overly organized bride, like myself. It has everything you could possibly need to plan for a wedding! The pages that you don't need are easy to take out and replace. There is plenty of space to add more pages too. The only problem I saw was that the folders inside the notebook were not quite wide enough, but papers still fit in them.

The planner is very well organized and has plenty of room for you to write down your own notes and store items. The budgeting section is incredibly helpful, thorough, and reminded us of things that we would not have remembered on our own. This planner will help you plan from a small to a large wedding and there are even different timelines for short and long engagements. I love that this planner does not overwhelm me but instead helps me to stay focused on what needs to be done. This was an excellent investment.

The timeline in this book was my greatest help with wedding planning. I didn't really use much else so it probably wasn't worth the money but it's a great organizer all around and divides each part of the wedding up really nice and neatly.

This was great for the beginning of my wedding planning. I was a bride on a budget so any tools at an affordable cost helped. It was great for keeping my records and I use it to this day to locate addresses. I gave up on the budget pages and started an excel spreadsheet but besides that a must have.

This planner is absolutely perfect! It has everything you could possibly need to know about your big day and how to plan accordingly. I love the zipper pouch in the back to put business cards and swatches and the binder rings open up in case you need to add or take papers from it.

I had been looking for a wedding planner that would allow me to keep all my receipts of deposits, contracts and ideas all organized in one place. The Mindy Weiss does just that. The 3-ring binder was key for me and the dividers have pockets which are great for magazine clippings and such, not to mention the dividers are helpful when trying to get to vendor info, dress info- it's all sectioned out. I took a lot of the pages out to make room for what I needed, but some of the sections are equipped with useful information such as a registry list, contact sheets, business card holder. It does have multiple pages for guest information, but like I said, I removed pages to make room for more paperwork, but I didn't see it necessary to have the guest list inside as I have it saved on an Excel spreadsheet.

I wasn't looking for something to help me plan, I was looking for something to help me organize. If you're looking for guidance, this could be helpful, but I think it's better for someone who already knows most of the major details and needs to keep things organized and maybe get some tips along the way.

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, just bc there's no calendar and it's a little wider than a school binder, but other than that I am very happy with it.

I considered the Martha Stewart one, but in the end purchased the Mindy Weiss based on other reviews and I am happy with it. My sister used Tying the Knot by Sara Miller, and I considered that too but it seemed to have been a while since it's last print (2005) so I went with Mindy. Oh, and great buy on the store, it was about $10 cheaper than in-store at B&N.

This planner is pretty detailed oriented. It breaks the sections of wedding planning down well. I will say, I love the idea that each new section divider is a folder, but they do not hold a full page (8.5 x 11) I just added some plastic sleeves to the binder to fix this though and it has been a great help. I will say it is a little old school as in the idea of hand writing each guests name and address down and some of the registry items are out of date, but overall it gave a great time line and lots of ideas. With the use of this and an app I found they work hand and hand and our wedding planning is going pretty smooth and organized!

This book is full of useful tips and information without being overly wordy. The budget sheets are great, though I found it easier to use them as a guide and make my own in excel being a techie. I especially liked the information on what the groom's family typically pays for. Well worth it!

I am planning my own wedding and reception, and so far, this book has provided me all the info I need to plan with less stress and anxiety. Love the three ring binder and how the topics are separated into their own categories. The time frame advice was a very good idea. It lists things you need to do so many months in advance, up to the wedding day.

This book is perfect if you've never been through the wedding planning process. It gives you the questions to ask each vendor and is a great place to keep everything together. I like online budget tools better than the one in the book. The folders are not large enough to hold full 8x10 pieces of paper but receipts will go into the folders.

It has been so helpful to have everything that this product provides--all the information and papers--in one place, already conveniently arranged for me. However, it is something that I could have put together on my own with a bit of extra work, which is the only reason I didn't give it five stars.

This book has been a lifesaver for my wedding planning. Everything is so organized! I love that all of the sections are tabbed and broken down. The fact that is has a business card holder and folders are also great! I would definitely recommend this to any soon to be bride.
