Great new series!! Interesting from the start -- pulls you right in and the story never flags!! Enjoy this author and his Jack Noble series, but was hesitant to start a new series because I've been disappointed from a couple of other authors who have a great series and branched off and seemed to miss the mark. But, am so glad I finally gave Mitch a go! He is a diligent, hard-hitting, loyal to the job, experienced detective, who just DOESN'T quit!! Loved all the characters -- little Debby and Beans really stood out here. Mitch has a backstory we don't know much about right now -- missing wife who took their oldest child with her when she left without a word. So, this is always in Mitch's mind as he works his cases, and drives much of his actions because he knows how it feels to live with "not knowing." Lots of auxillary characters -- we get to know some more than others. All it would take is a little more character development to boost my rating to 5 stars, but this is a series worth reading!!

The Mitch Tanner series just didn’t draw me in, as Jack Noble series has.
FBI vs Philly PD? Unprofessional, sophomoric attitude, paranoia, out of control hero with double standards.
Just not realistic, nor up to LT Ryan’s fast paced & detailed standards.
Questions I had while reading:
1). Was Envy he or she? Editing error?
2). Could $10 million cash fit in one bag? Where did it end up?
Too many questions with loose ends.
Not my favorite book from Mr. Ryan. Sorry, just saying.....

The author presents a very readable account of detective Mitch Tanner and his partner, Sam, in their attempt to find the assailants who kidnapped two young kids, along wit h killing two as part of a ransom scheme. There are various plot turns and seemingly unrelated events that play into the story. The cast of many makes for an interesting and enjoyable read. This reader looks forward to reading other books by this author.

As usual another terrific book from LT. Ryan. I am so happy to have had a new book from this amazing author to read, I just hope the next one will be out soon. Another wonderful hero, Mitch Tanner and his buddy Sam. He tells a story that holds you until the end. I highly recommend this book, as good as the Jack Noble books.

I've been following Jack Noble for years. Thought I would read Mitch Tanner. Enjoyed the story line. Somewhat predictable, but sometimes that's just what I need in a good story. You won't be disappointed.

L.T. Ryan has another blockbuster series in the making. Mitch Tanner is another one of those characters that are the perfect combination of good guy/bad guy that just seem to hit the right chord. Relentless, and not squeamish about breaking a few rules to accomplish his goal.
I'm about a bio-break and a fresh cup of coffee away from starting Book 2 in the series. Gotta go!

WOW, this is another huge winner from L. T. Ryan. The pace is fast and the surprises keep on hitting you one after the other. Mitch and his partner never cease to interest and amaze with how well they work together and even seem to communicate without words or other signs that might be expected. It's as if they're on the same wave lenght throughout. Looking forward to more Mitch Tanner novels from this author

Brave Debbie stepped up to save little Bennet (Bean), and got herself kidnapped also. I loved the way the kids interacted with each other. Between the two they survived. You can't get a better friend than that!

Mitch Tanker is a wonderful addition to Ryan's other well-known character, Jack Noble. Mitch, and his partner Sam, take you on a journey in search of two kidnapped children. The book is full of unexpected twists and turns that leave the reader rooting for Tanner and the children. I am hoping this is not the last we see of this character, as I miss him already!

Writing kept attention and the plot so so . The kid thing pretty good, though. Title doesn't reflect the storyline, it seemed. I enjoyed Mitch and Sam, and have already checked out #2 with kindle unlimited.

I love love loved this new series!! Mitch Tanner is my new favorite hero. Very well written and a great read. I have been an L.T. Ryan fan for a while, having read all the Jack Noble books which I also adore and highly recommend. WOW, the Mitch Tanner book is written so differently than the Jack Noble series! Mr. Ryan has a great sense of humor. Can't wait for his next books.

Mitch Tanner is a great new series. Most detective stories are either too analytical or too crazy to feel real. Mitch was a good blend of both and the story moved fast and well.
I'm starting the next one now. Worth the time to read.
