Great addition to the series! I don't usually write reviews, just stars. I was concerned that I would not like this book as I didn't like the advertising blurb. Glad I was wrong I loved this book and will read it again.

Wow the last two books have been my favorites actually I'm going to have to reread them all because I think they're all my favorites. I really like Nala she's strong knows what she wants and I just love the interactions that she has with Stag. I know I have other favorite cyborgs from other books that I'd like to see get a story, oh boy do I have a thing for Hellion I hope he's next. Thanks to the author releasing two books close together. Im going to be pre-ordering the next one. This author doesn't disappoint. Stag and Nala have great chemistry. 5 stars

The book was good and showed her writing style coming back. For a while there I was worried that she lost her touch. Still didn't have the action detailed story like and is not deep enough. I still recommend this book because I love the cyborgs. I will continue to purchase her books.
I just hope laurann will write about Mavo, he is one of my favorite and possibly includes the amphibians/humanoids of Garden so his story will be set in different ambiance and not in a space ship alone. Cut be very exiting and thrilling. I was disappointed when she wrote about Stag and not Mavo.

I am so flipping happy that Laurann Dohner has returned to her Cyborg Seduction Series! After a long hiatus, she gave us first Deviant and now Stag. It’s like she’s on fire with with this series, and I for one, couldn’t be any more pleased. This book was a page turner that had me involved from beginning to end.
This story was lively but for me it was the characters that really popped out. Stag was his same surly self that he was in Deviant’s book. I mean, he really did not like humans; not one bit. Ms. Dohner gave us a glimpse of why he felt that way, but for the most part, my feelings were torn between liking him and really needing to smack him or throw my Kindle or some other emotional outburst. I loved the story though and Nala too, and most of the other Cyborgs. Maze and Hellion really caught my interest and that’s because Laurann Dohner is so adept at giving each character, even the secondary ones, their own unique personality. I think this book would be the first time however that I’ve actually liked a secondary character more than the main one. I would really love to read Hellion’s story because he was more emotionally expressive than the rest of the Cyborgs. Like Deviant, he was considered flawed and that caught my attention. However, as smitten as I was with another Cyborg, it was Stag who put up such an entertaining fight in this one. Captain Surly Pants was downright mean at first but Nala went right back at him until he learned to trust her.
As usual, with Laurann Dohner, this book was well written. The plot was suspenseful with more twists than I had expected, the sex was scorching hot, and even some light humor thrown in there too. I loved it and can’t wait to read the next Cyborg Seduction story.

I had wildly ranging opinions about this book, depending on where I was reading at that point. It is rare I feel that way about a novel. Here are some reasons why I felt like I was sitting on a pendulum:
1) It was overwhelmingly crude (yeah, Stag did that right next to her), then it ended with one of the sweetest, most romantic lines you'll see in any book anywhere.
2) Nala was one of the bravest, most selfless ship captains I've read about, trying to save total strangers. Then she sexually assaulted Stag. "No" means "no" no matter who is saying it. The circumstances made me cringe and I was this close to a DNF at that point.
3) I was at turns disappointed in and cheering Nala.
4) A lot of people didn't like grumpy Stag, but I found him to be one of the more believable cyborg characters, more robot-like in his outlook. I especially thought it funny that he kept telling the cheerful cyborg, Hellion, to turn off his emotion chip. Made me chuckle.
5) The action-adventure quotient was way up on this book compared to the last one, Loving Deviant, which is always a profit in my accounting column.
Since I was on such a pendulum, I guess this book gets three stars. Some things were great, and some things really were not.

Well she deviated from the standard Cyborg plot to try to make this more a plot driven romance, IMO. There were 2 sex scenes and for a erotic series, with the LOFS and/or love from lust, which this still was, there just wasn't enough of them. There was a lot of battles. The first was running from and then avoiding the bombs of the Andriods, then the pirates and then... well let's leave the spoilers out for those that read it for the plot, I don't. If I wanted a scifi romance, I would read Linnea Sinclair which is next on my list. I wanted a hot chemistry and I got a fizzle that every once in a while was hot. It still was good and the plot wasn't bad either though it took away from the relationship, mostly. And the ending... well, it was OK, just OK. They didn't seem like a great couple and I actually kept thinking that Hellion would make a better match. **sigh** Well it was worth the read and I did read it pretty quickly. If you like the Cyborgs, you'll probably at least like this and you might appreciate the furthering of the Markus plot. I just wish it was done in a quicker, less complicated way.

Good, sexy, fun read. Nothing outstanding or anything, but then I wouldn't rate any of the cyborg series above 3 stars. They're fun, but like this one, too quick and easy to become deep. The love kind of comes out of nowhere in this book. Honestly, I loved the snarkiness of our main characters but because there is literally no emotional moments, the romance felt off and rushed. However, the secondary characters in this one were super cool. Overall, read it for a fun quick science fiction romance but don't expect an epic love story.
