This collection of classics are great because there are pieces for various experience levels. I would consider myself advanced, and can play most of them except for some (Chopin's Fantaisie Impromptu, for example). My favorite composers included in this book are Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy, Satie, and Rachmaninoff.

You can hear the included titles, except for three not found, on a spotify playlist called "Library of Piano Classics"

It's a great collection, but only for the intermediate to advanced player. What you hear on the spotify playlist, for the most part, represents the actual difficulty of the pieces.

My daughters all loved this book of piano classics (there are two volumes). I had to buy a second copy so they each had a book to take with them when they grew up and moved out. It is really a great bargain with all the classical piano pieces included. I would highly recommend it.

Have recently taken piano back up and love the classics. Received the book and although some of the songs are to hard for me there are still plenty I can play. Also like have the spiral binding, allows the book the stay flat. Recommend this book strongly.

I must have read the reviews wrong; I thought these were piano classics as well as popular standards of the jazz period....I kept because it is a very comprehensive book of classical pieces....recognizable...it does have some Albeniz...I particularly like Spanish inspired music....I just thought this contained some standards...like Moon River for example...

Great collection of piano pieces for the players of various levels. Easy to read format since it features fairly large size print. Book stays open. Some of the piano pieces do not have a complete version though. E.g., the book has only the first movement from Moonlight Sonata. Since I want to learn the third movement I will have to purchase it separately.

These are wonderful pieces by the great masters. However, be forewarned that I acquired this book for my private college tutelage! And as I was already on a scholarship for piano, anyone not already an accomplished pianist, will have considerable trouble with this book. Happy playing! :)

I have enjoyed playing the pieces in this book for years, one after the other, for hours at a time. Then my daughter began playing them, and she liked the book so much she took it with her when she left for college. I wanted to tell her no, she could not have that one, but of course I let her take it. I hoped she would bring it back after college. Well, she didn't! I can't blame her for wanting to keep it forever. Now I find I cannot live without it any longer. Although I know many of the pieces by heart, there is nothing like sightreading. These are timeless pieces that are FUN to play. They are of different levels, too, so you can progress at will. The binding is such that the pages stay open where you want them to stay, and you won't have to fight with air currents blowing and turning the pages too soon. I can't wait to get this book back into my hands again, but I'll have to mark up the pieces with my own personal notes all over again! If you love classical music, don't pass up this book!

Library of Piano Classics is without a doubt a volume worth owning. A good variety of composers are represented, and the music ranges from Brahms's "Hungarian Dance" easy to Liszt's "Hungarian Rhapsody" difficult.

Be ware, however. I've found countless misprints in the music. In many cases, dynamic markings are missing, and in some instances, the notes themselves are incorrect. That's pretty bad.

Still, a good book of music overall.

This book is magnificent for people that want to learn newer and harder pieces.
The one thing I wish it had more of was that is had more Beethoven and Mozart, also the Gymnopedie from Eric Satie, but other than that this book is very excellent.

THIS BOOK EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS! It's 351 beautifully printed pages of classics I have always loved playing as well as new ones I'm coming to enjoy.

The plastic ring binding makes for easy page-turning and seems like it will last forever.

Excellent value in all respects.

This Book has false advertising! The cover says it contains Chopin's Minute Waltz. It doesn't! I do love all the other pieces, however I purchased it specifically for Minute Waltz. How can a book's cover say it includes a piece that isn't part of the content? I am not sure who let that slip, but I am not very happy with them! All together it is a lovely book. It is great for increasing your piano library of classical pieces. Just don't buy it for Minute Waltz!
