This book was difficult for me to rate. The first half, I disliked mostly everyone in it, including the main character. By the end, I was really liking the book. So I split the difference with a rating of 3.

Like all Kristen Higgins books this one is written perfectly. The story line is fantastic and not boring. The characters are realistic and you can imagine being there with the characters in the plot. Warning make time to read it because you won’t want to put it down.

I don't know where to start. Kristan Higgins has been my favorite author since I read her first book. So much of Now That You Mention It hits me personally. Her character development is unparalleled; they become your friends. You laugh, you cry...Loved. this.book.

Kristan Higgins storytelling will make you laugh, cry, and jump in your seat. All of Kristan Higgins books are great, but Now That You Mentioned It goes beyond great to extraordinary. Through the lens of Nora Stuart, Kristan Higgins takes you back to the throws of high school, to redefining yourself in college, to finding your true self in your thirties. This book is a must read, and before you know it, you'll want to read it again.

Diving into a Kristin Higgins novel is like a visit with a friend in a setting you want to vacation in. This book was no exception. It was my bedtime reading for a week. Sweet dreams but with enough grit to be interesting. Two thumbs up.

The characters are totally believable and such characters. Nothing would surprise you but the end is so good. Definitely plays on a reader's emotion. Some might find the storyline lacking but I really related to it. Give it a read!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Ms. Higgins did a wonderful job in keeping me interested in reading more about Nora Stuart. the characters were well developed and complex, which kept me reading to find out what happens to Nora, in love and in life. It's a quick easy read filled with warmth and a touch of mystery.

I love the mix of romance, family relationships, and psychology. The women and men are always great reminders of how humans are suppose to act in tough situations. The bad guys always seem to get justice. And the settings are always beautiful like a mini vacation.

I love author Kristan Higgins, her books are wonderful and have so many feels ,wit , laugh out loud funny moments and a few teary emotional ones, and this book is no different. The main character Nora is a gem of a character, you will love her , you will want the best for her ,I wanted her to be my best friend, sister, co worker , neighbor, heck you will just want to know her.She made the book for me hands down and let me tell you she goes through a lot of hard times in this book , like wow ,scary, sad, more scary times and you think how much more can author Kristan Higgins put this poor girl through but rest assured she gets through everything and gets the HEA.This read was fun at times, heartfelt, sad and scary but in the end it shows and teaches and reminds us all about how aweful high school years can be and yes you can survive. How stupid our choices in guys can be but in the end we usually get wiser and than get it right. How love is love is love and when you love whole heartedly like Nora does it just makes life better for you and everyone else in your life. It's a family fiction romance , I had a few issues with the story that caused it to not be a 5 star excellent read like her last two amazing books" If you Only Knew" and "On Second Thought" in my opinion, seriously those last 2 books where definitely 5 flawless star reads for me where this one missed a few beats. What made this a 4 star read was I wanted more closure with the attacker in Boston especially when we find him again in the book , I didn't like the way it was left ,it unsettled me as the reader a lot. Also Nora and her mom 's final heart to heart talk was way to brief for so much pain the years had caused Nora and I just wanted more , just wanted her mom to express her feelings for Nora more , just wanted to feel the long overdo feels for Nora from her mom that Nora so deserved and why didn't her mom come running when she got hit by the van ?? Where was the healing love process from her mom while she recuperated in her mom 's home, I mean her mom seriously asked her not to stay in her home for too long , her mom just didn't redeem herself enough for me to ever like and I wanted to like her .And I wanted Nora to tell her about the attack ,again just lose ends that I'm not used to from this very thorough author . Poor Nora couldnt even just get a hug without being charged for it from mom ???.What I loved , Nora ' s relationship with Poe , with Audrey, her conversation with Lilly on the phone in the end had me weepy ,her and Poe in the cave just so heartfelt. I loved when Bobby with help from Nora 's friend at the very end of the book admits his faults, even with a shot to the ribs?? ,I laughed out loud there and a few other parts so thank you again Ms Higgins for your wit. So there where some small misses , some amazing bullseye moments, some loose ends that I wanted to see get its justice that didn't but again I really enjoyed this book . I always enjoy Kristan Higgins books and she will always be a pre order automatic download with me , this author is always worth your reading time .Thank you so much Kristan Higgins for yet another good read, and Nora was a great character, the best !!!!Now can Rachel from If you Only Knew finally get her second chance on love , please !!!!

I love Kristan Higgins' writing. I have read every one of her books and she never disappoints. This story made me laugh. It made me cry. And I could relate to Nora and her teenage years. Great story.

I love everything I've ever read by Kristan Higgins. Now That You Mention it is fantastic. I laughed, I cried, I laugh-cried: the trifecta of a perfect book. Read it. You'll love it. Well done, Mrs. Higgins, can't wait till the next one.

Read the entire book today. Now 2 am. The beginning is a bit hard to take but once Nora is on the island it is worth it. I very much enjoyed it like all of Kristin Higgins books. Ps- good job on the doctor details.

The minute you start reading "Now That You Mention It", it will be hours before you can put it down at the finish. The book flows from start to end with humor, anticipation, angst and love. The characters are each so unique that you wish you were a part of the story. The plot lines of love and loss and familiar but created with their own twists. This book simply melts your heart and I enjoyed it tremendously.

Kristan Higgins never fails! The story pulled at every emotion (the Tweety bird scene had me laughing out loud), and I finished the book in two days -- it was too good to put down. I'm going to go back now, and read it all over again.

Kristan's stories never let me down. They warrant a call out from work, just so you can finish them in one day. She writes such beautiful, funny, strong women. My favorite part of Kristan's books is the slow read I always take after devouring my initial read.

While Kristan's books are always a treat, this one was extra-special because it focused more on accepting yourself, working through being rejected by relatives, friends and men -- and being able to see one's good points and finally being able to not always having to be on; that is true comfort and true maturity. This book is a real gem! Thank you, Kristin!
