(With Extensive Commentary on the Three Books of Enoch

Lumpkin does an excellent job in presenting the Three Books of Enoch in this volume. There is lots of background information, commentary, and explanations to help the reader along where necessary. I read the first book of Enoch elsewhere, but Lumpkin's version is the one that I favor. I have since purchased several of his works and am pleased with all of them. I even purchased a second copy of this book for my grandfather who couldn't put it down!

The original Books of Enoch with references to the more commonly accepted canon all throughout. Clean and straightforward, this work allows us to see the writings that were missing for so many years to most of the Judeo-Christian population, but what the Ethiopian believers never lost.

The Book of Enoch is an interesting read. It relates ancient stories of the Creation of the Earth and monsters. There is a verse in Genesis that says "There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown." Many scholars believe that this meant that The Sons of God, Immortal Angles came to earth and took wives of the Daughters of Men, mortal women and these unions produced Giants and thus the Angles were rejected by God and were forced to dwell on Earth. The Book of Enoch goes into great detail retelling these stories and even naming the Angles and Monsters. It also compares sections of Enoch with Biblical scripture that are similar in subject. I found it interesting, but I was hoping for more insight into the real history of Gods people instead of myth.

THESE BULK OF THE INFORMATION CAME FROM OLD MANUSCRIPTS FOUND IN THE KUMRAN CAVES. oTHER INFO WAS GLEANED FROM HISTORY BY AUTHORS SUCH AS JOSEPHUS WHO IS CALLED UPON TO BE TOTALLY RELIABLE. iF THRERE IS AN"IF" INVOLVED, JOSEPUS MAKES CERTAIN IT IS INCLUDED.

IT APPEARS THAT ALL INFORMATION HAS BEEN COMBED TO MAKE CERTAIN THIS IS ELEGANT, RELEVELANT AND AND CORRECT.
I asked a bible scholar friend of mine if it was OK to read this text(I kno w thatprobably sounds very strange, but with false Christs and downright liars out there, I find it best to be certain than to find out I have been fliflammed. He has read it 3 times, so OK says the apologetics master. AND BESIDES, IT IS DOWNRIGHT FASINATING. wELL, DID THE ROMAN AND gREEK GODS AND GODDESSES EXISTOR NOT? WELL, DID THEY?

This book is very interesting and informative. I can see why it is not in the canon, but that does not mean it isn't useful for further information/details. Anyone who is interested in more information/historical documentation of events occurring in Genesis, angels and their history - including genetic manipulation involving humans/angels/animals, God and His holy angels responses and interactions, insight into the difference between fallen angels and demons and their connection, etc - and the vast amount of visions of Enoch and his amazingly vivid encounters and experiences will find this an amazing read. Helpful to gain more insight into events that occurred in the beginning. Author cites scriptures from the Bible through out which I found helpful.

Whether you are a serious student of the Bible or just beginning to study scriptures you will love this book. Joseph Lumpkin is one of the greatest end time and Biblical prophecy writers of our time. In this book he writes in a straight forward, easy to understand fashion about The Books of Enoch: The Angels, The Watchers and The Nephilim. An excellent read!

What should have been a major actor in the Bible, the man who does not die and actually sees and records God and the levels of heaven, should have received "top billing' in what is called The Old Testament. But, as usual, those lusting for power, privilege, authority only briefly reference Enoch. This is a MUST for anyone with an open mind studying religions-it explains a great deal but should be avoided by any fundamentalist who would not recognize these writings with any authority. For others, however, this is a "Godsend" of wealth and information.

Reveals the secret things of the universe in exquisite beauty! A must read, not all can be understood by some, but what can, is worth the purchase to uplift the soul, to heights of comfort, above this earthly chaos! Peace!

A very in depth version of a hidden classic, information not easily found in too many places.. I find the book informative and worthy of much esoteric thought. I bought one for a friend and we are studying together...Good buy!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It is a must-read for anyone who has unanswered questions about holy scripture. I have lent this book to many who seemed both enlightened and surprised by the depth of its contents.
