Again another wonderful book in the series. I did feel this one started out slow but I think I was so invested in Nicholas and Olivia's story that I didn't give this a chance. Now that I'm done, I'm so glad I read this. Another epic love story!

Awesome. Absolutely LOVE to listen to this series on Audible. The people that voice the characters truly bring them to life. A delightful series and I highly recommend this book and the others in the series as well.

I voluntarily received an advance copy of this book and then bought it anyway....
This isn't my first book from Emma Chase and it certainly won't be my last. I've read all of her previous work, falling more and more in love with her characters with each book. I'll be honest though, I thought Nicholas and Olivia from Royally Screwed were going to be my ultimate Emma Chase couple. However, Henry and Sarah quickly overtook them and became my favorite couple.
Henry took me completely by surprise. I was expecting some laughs, and I got them, but I wasn't expecting the wealth of emotions I found in him. He won me over so quickly once I saw underneath his humor. Seeing him grow into this amazing man had me in tears. Watching him fall in love? Just beautiful. I swooned and fell madly for Henry, and all the little parts he kept hidden from the public.
Sarah received a brief mention in Royally Screwed but enough of one to make me want to know more about her. I'm so glad to have gotten her story. A quiet, yet fierce, young woman with a past that broke my heart. Around Henry she was a different woman; funny and feisty. The banter between these two had me grinning. Getting to peek into their love was so sweet to me-and I cheered endlessly for her throughout the book. Sarah is the type of woman I would love to know in real life.
The pacing of this book was spot on. The plot was fun and fresh. I loved seeing old characters pop up and getting to catch up with them. There was so much I loved about this book that I could wax on about it for hours-but I truly want you to read this fairytale love for yourself. I highly recommend it and would give it more than five stars if I could.

There were parts of this book that reveal terrific writing with humor, such as the segments in the castle during the shooting of the reality show. The scenes of Penelope defending her sister and Henry being concerned for Sarah ‘s disappearance during a party, then defense of her were very good . Penelope revealing their dark family secret was excellent. The story should have ended shortly after Henry’s asking for forgiveness in the library after Sarah’s talk. This was also a very well written piece. His later announcement of enlisting in the military for a two year stent with only letter communication seems counter to his claim of devoted undying love for Sarah. It seems that his desire to be King overshadowed any professed love for her, as apposed to his brothers actually giving up the throne for his love. It almost seemed as a different author took over after this. In general, as a good picaro Henry was an arrogant, foul mouthed, egotistical, crude person that was difficult to like even after had a positive effect on him.

Can I give it 10 stars????!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤ So very well written! The flow of the story is seamless. The dialogue is quick and witty. I just cried in so many places in this book. Reading they synopsis, I didn't think it would be like this but Sarah touched my heart and Henry turned out way more than what he seemed to be in Screwed. Thank you Emma for giving us this story and I can't wait for next one!

Royally Matched earned all the crowns! With Emma Chase's writing prowess of male POV like no other, this book has everything a romance novel should have. It's fun, sexy, very romantic and characters (cocky prince and a silent-type bookish girl who's not even part of the Matched show) that you'd totally fall in love with. The laugh out loud moments were balanced by the intense, heart-tugging emotions that were spilling through the end of the story. Beautiful and out of this world in every turn.
Royally Matched is Emma's BEST. BOOK. YET. Forget Nicholas, Henry will own you body and soul.

This is the longest book review I’ve written, so for those faint of heart who won’t read to the bottom, here’s the punchline upfront. Royally Matched is certified Kindle crack! Prince Henry has ruined me for all other book boyfriends. It’s a TJ Top Fave and has my highest recommendation.
I’m not sure I can tell you how much I loved this book, but I’m going to try. Let’s start with the emotional aspect of the story. Sarah and Henry have been through some seriously tragic circumstances in their short lives. They both strive to be better people despite those issues. I loved getting inside Henry’s head to understand better why he seemed like such a hot mess in book one. Don’t fear, the character development is extraordinary. Henry more than changes the reader’s perception in this book.
Up next is Nicholas. Although he doesn’t feature prominently in this book, he set me off on my first crying jag. OMG, he is sweetness and love! The love and faith he has in his brother is immense and incomparable. I loved him before, but flove him now.
Next up, Pen and Sarah. These two sisters couldn’t be more different. They’re so much like my sister and I. I’m tall, she’s short. She loud, I’m not. I could go on and on. It’s the same with these sisters. Despite all their differences, they love and support each other. When the chips are down they know they can count on each other. Totally loved that! They shared a super sweet moment that sent me off on another crying jag. LOL
And last, but not least Sarah. Sarah is sweet, shy, quirky, and a total book nerd. I only share one of those qualities, but I connected with her character immediately. I knew her story would be interesting, but didn’t consider how much it would affect me. Once her secret is revealed guess what I did. Yep, cried again!
Okay, now that we’re done with that I have to say I wasn’t a sobbing crying mess throughout the book. It’s a super fun and sexy read. I just wanted to highlight the emotional aspect of the story beforehand. Prince Henry is hilarious, flirty, sexy, totally inappropriate at times, but BBF perfection. He and Sarah are totally super cute together.
To sum up, Royally Matched has it all! It is a well-rounded royally perfect romance! Buy or borrow this book as soon as possible! Seriously, 1-CLICK right now you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend it. It’s a Top Fave.

The fact I read this in Jan10, 2017 - according to my Kindle library yet never published my review says it all. I just love Emma Chase, and didn’t want to be a downer. But something in ‘Royally Matched’ didn’t quite click for me and now I see it’s a Kindle Monthly deal I felt I should add my 2 cents in!
So like all of Emma Chase’s books there are things I loved, the humour, the wit, most of the dialogue - it was highly entertaining and fun - c’mon a fictionalised Crown Prince who is invited and agrees to go on a reality TV show in which 20 women vie for the chance to become his Queen!! He is fun, obnoxious and the entertainment King. But of course none of the contestants capture his attention, rather, the shy sister of one, the girl in the back ground does… Cute right.
However it went wrong because you never really got the chemistry between the two of them and emotionally he seemed to go from one extreme to the other… it seemed so farcical and OTT that it bordered on rushed and ridiculous. There were so many instances I felt we were jumping from scene to scene and all of a sudden it was weeks later.
I could have coped with all of that but it was the ending which was just so disappointing… I know HEAs take many forms… but really… I felt screaming Run Sarah Run!

One word…MAGNIFICENT! There is no way I can sum this book up with only one word though. This is THE BEST Emma Chase book I’ve read, and believe me when I tell you, I READ THEM ALL! Who knew she could top ROYALLY SCREWED?! I knew it was going to be just as GREAT, but she has outdone herself with Henry and Sarah’s story. It was so sexy and sweet…so genuine and real! There was NOTHING that could have pulled me away from this, NOTHING! My heart is just BURSTING with so much love for this book, this author, and these INCREDIBLE characters! The minute I turned the last page, I wanted to start ALL OVER AGAIN! ROYALLY MATCHED was TRULY MAGICAL!
“I’ve been thinking about this all day.”
It’s only when I speak that I realize I’m breathless. “About what?”
And the man who will be my king sinks to his knees before me.
“About tasting you. I’m going to lick you until my tongue gives out. Any objections?”
Oh God…
I mean seriously?! That was ****ing HOT! And that’s not all ladies! Henry has quite a mouth on him! You will be highlighting the hell out of the pages, I guarantee it! In between all of the dirty talk and AMAZING sex scenes, there is a beautiful story that will resonate with you on every level. The beauty of the journey between these two was just amazing and I can’t stop thinking about it. Emma Chase is a MASTER storyteller, giving us page after page of hilarity, witty banter, and epic love scenes. Be prepared for an all-nighter, because I guarantee, once you start this amazing journey, you will NOT want it to end!

I didn't exactly love Royally Screwed, the first in Emma Chase's Royally series, but I still wanted to give the other books in the series a try. As a lover of The Bachelor, I really wanted to read this one with Prince Henry going on Matched, a royal Bachelor-esque reality show.
After his brother gave up the crown to marry a non-royal, Henry is now first in line to be king. The problem is Henry doesn't quite know what to do with the pressure that comes with being king. He's the brother who always has a lady and is prone to bringing negative attention to the crown. When his grandmother banishes him to a castle far away, he accepts a producer's offer to find love on television. What he doesn't expect is to fall in love with a woman behind-the-scenes, not one of the women on the show. This is what intrigued me the most!
I did like some parts of this book. I love seeing a player fall on his knees a girl he wouldn't normally go for. Here, Henry falls for, Sarah, the shy sister of one of the contestants. She loves to read and is more of a wallflower. One thing I liked about the romance was the attempt at creating a progression from friends-to-lovers. Henry meets Sarah when seeks the privacy of her room, hiding from the noisy cameras in his room. Sarah and Henry talk and get to know each other, so it was fun to see that develop. I would have liked to actually see more of that time on the page, though instead of telling the reader about it.
Are there other readers like me who demands stronger character development in romance? Sarah and Henry's characters were exaggerated and overdone. Sarah is the quiet, shy one and I felt as though the reader is constantly reminded of her love of reading and books. I can't really recall anything distinctive about her or Henry's personalities. Henry is just another "player-type" stock character, with very little nuance. Also, the character's names in this book was eyeroll-inducing. Sarah's last name is Von Titebottum (pronounced tight bottom). And yes, Henry does compare that to her booty. The other side characters had similarly ridiculous names. I think it's supposed to be funny but it wasn't.
Sarah has a traumatic past and clearly has some sort of post-traumatic stress disorder, evidenced by moments of blackouts called "fugue states" where she freezes but maintains awareness after being triggered. The abuse she suffered and this disease is glossed over and not addressed with much respect or care.
While I liked elements of the plot, all of it together was very cliched. I don't mind tropes and cliches if the authors puts a new spin on them to make them unique but that wasn't done here. I felt like I've read these characters a million times and with this book there was nothing special or memorable about the characters or the plot. The final nail in the coffin was a weak conflict towards the end that was rooted in miscommunication. It felt very flimsy and was carelessly put together. I expect more from Emma Chase. I'm hoping the next series she releases is more satisfying.

Only the villains lock ladies in a tower.
Then you make me want to be a villain.
My heart is swooning right now! I wasn't sure how I would feel about Henry after reading about him in Royally Screwed, but he was everything I wanted from a character. He loves his country and his family, but he's worried about his ability to make a difference. He's not used to the scrutiny his brother grew up with, and he's struggling to find his place now that people are counting on him.
Feeling overwhelmed, Henry makes an impulsive decision that did not provide the entertainment he was looking for. He foolishly thought it would help him feel more like himself, but it ended up having some pretty bad consequences. My heart broke for Henry over and over again. He always had the best intentions (even if they seemed careless at the time), but the world can be cruel and unfair. People are often selfish and only looking out for themselves, which usually means someone undeserving gets hurt.
Sarah is the sweetest person on Earth. She's supportive of her sister, has friends that she loves and enjoys being around, and is happy with her small place in the world. Henry's loud personality shakes her out of her comfort zone, but Sarah isn't a pushover. She'll defend those she loves even if it means she is the one that ends up getting hurt. I really liked who Sarah was with Henry. She was fierce and his equal in every way. She loves literature and treasures words, and she's honest to the core.
There were some pretty nasty characters in this one (one repeat from the previous book, ugh), and the things they did made me visibly angry. At one point my husband said it looked like I was going to squeeze my phone into tiny pieces (audiobook), and wanted to know what I was listening to. Henry suiting up with ancient weapons to defend the one he loves -- ahhh. That has to be one of my favorite parts!
At the end when I could tell Henry's decisions were going to have unforeseen consequences, I had to keep reminding myself that there was still time left for a happy ending. He was doing what he thought was best, and trying to protect Sarah, but authors like to drag you through the mud first. Emma Chase made my heart constrict and made me wish my ears could listen faster.
I loved this book! I'm loving this series! I cannot wait to dive in to the next one -- there's bound to be more excitement and adventures. Oh, and let me just say... Emma Chase knows how to write steamy sex scenes. She can also make me burst out laughing at any given moment -- love it!
Additionally, I adored Sarah's sister, Penelope. I really hope she gets her own book in the future! The ending wasn't anything like what I expected, but now I cannot imagine it happening any other way. It was perfect. Everything was perfect!
(Both narrators are amazing -- two of my favorites!)

Royalty continues to take over Book Town with Royally Matched by Emma Chase.
Prince Nicholas and Olivia stole my heart in Royally Screwed a few months ago. I was excited to learn that Henry was getting his own story. I really liked his character in Royally Screwed and could not wait to see how the Royal Bad Boy would find love. His brother fell hard for his American beauty and I was positive that the heroine that would steal Henry's heart would be as phenomenal as Olivia.
Henry Pembrook, Prince of Wessco, has big shoes to fill. His brother, Prince Nicholas, fell in love and is now living a blissful life next to his American Princess. Becoming King was never in Henry's plans. He likes to party hard and Royal duties have never been his forte. The Queen grants him some time away hoping that Henry will find his way back from rock bottom.
Henry takes this opportunity to do something wild and crazy. He gets tangled up in a reality show called Matched: Royal Edition. Twenty single blue bloods will fight for his attention and he's ready to party. Everything is going fine until Sarah Von Titebottum enters his life. She's intriguing and a breath of fresh air in his life. She makes him want more. As days go by, Sarah and Henry get closer together. They share unforgettable moments and a love story is born behind the scenes of the reality show. Will Sarah and Prince Henry find their HEA?
Once again, Emma Chases' amazing writing style captivated me from page one. Sarah and Henry's love story was entertaining, passionate and a swoon fest that I will never forget! I absolutely loved the connection between them. It was easy to follow their story and this modern day fairy tale gave me all the feels. Their daily talks made me happy and I loved how Sarah came out of her comfort zone with Henry.
The supporting cast of characters was AMAZING!! It was lovely to see Nicholas and Olivia again. I really wish that the author would write a story for Fanny and Simon. I love them to pieces and would love to read about their journey together. They are such a fun couple that have always been there for Nicholas and Henry. I'm Royally Obsessed with this series! Can't wait for my next amazing reading escape in the Royally Series!
I give, Royally Matched, by Emma Chase, 4.5 swoony, fun, captivating, romance filled stars!

***I received an ebook copy in exchange for an honest review***
If you loved Nicholas in Royally Screwed, then you’re going to fall apart completely for Henry in Royally Matched.
The Royals meets The Bachelor in this hilarious comedy that focuses on Prince Henry, who is in desperate need of lessons on how to be the leader of a country. When Nicholas swoops in and convinces their grandmother, Queen Lenora, to take some time away so that Henry has a chance to learn the ropes and prove himself, things get really entertaining. A producer for the show Matched (much similar to the Bachelor or Bachelorette) has already reached out to Henry, and he decides to take her up on her offer to film a royal version of the show right there at the castle. Henry sees this as a good idea, because it gives him the opportunity to sow his wild oats, and maybe even land himself a queen when all is said and done.
Enter in Sarah, the sister of one of the show’s contestants. She’s met Henry before, but is convinced that he won’t remember her. After all, she’s not exactly princess material (at least not in her own eyes). Sarah is shy and quiet, works in a library, and is hopelessly in love with one thing: books. She catches Henry’s eye within minutes of their reconnecting, and thus begins one of the best written slow burns I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying.
Emma nailed it with Henry’s character. He has a reputation (a well-deserved one) for being a noncommittal manwhore and a party animal, but there’s so much more to him than that. On the outside, he’s confident, to the point of becoming just arrogant enough that it’s sexy. On the inside he’s very much an insecure, vulnerable man. He finds comfort in Sarah that he’s never experienced before. He sees her as this beautiful and intelligent enigma of a woman. She makes him want to be a better man, and that’s exactly what we see happen over the course of the story. The harder he falls for Sarah, the more confident he becomes in himself, and the more appealing the thought of settling down with this woman and having a royal family becomes. I loved the fact that Emma didn’t make Henry change overnight. He didn’t fall all head-over-heels stupid in lust with Sarah and spend the next month ignoring the contestants on the show. He still noticed the other women’s beauty, thought about hooking up with them, and consistently doubted himself. But, those pieces of him began to fall away, slowly and surely, so by the time the book wraps up, Prince Henry was a totally different man.
I loved the plot line. It was fun and full of laugh-out-loud moments, that kept me glued to the pages. Some of the women on the show were absurdly unbelievable, but that’s what reality programming is all about, right? Whenever I’m looking for a solid story that balances comedy with romance, I know I can find that within the pages of an Emma Chase novel.
The UST between Sarah and Henry is off the charts! There’s a nice, slow burn here, as they do this little dance around one another, both pursuing (though unknowingly in Sarah’s case) the other, but hesitating to do so. All the build up made the moment they finally do come together all the more romantic and exciting.
I really enjoyed Sarah and her back story. She’s been through hell and back, and even though her past left her hardened around the edges, she’s come out as this amazing, caring, and kind-hearted person. She has so much to give, for the right person. And her conviction and dedication to helping others made me love her even more.
I could go on and on for another ten pages about how much I loved this book. It’s one of my favorite reads so far this year, and Henry has most definitely earned himself a spot on my Top Book Boyfriends of 2017 list. If you’re a long-time Emma Chase fan, you’re going to love Royally Matched. If you’re new to her words, you’re going to love Royally Matched. If you’re looking for something romantic, fun, and sexy to read, you’re going to love Royally Matched.

Holy SWOON alert, Batman!!! I’m talking level ten swoon here. If you are in the mood for pure, unadulterated romance then Emma Chase’s Royally Matched is just the book for you! I was quite literally feeling the high from everything that was Henry and Sarah! My head was floating amidst the clouds, seeing nothing but hearts all around me. UGH! I wish this would release before Valentine’s Day because seriously you guys, this is THE PERFECT read to get you into the mood. I didn’t think it was possible for Henry to outdo his brother Nicholas from the first book in this standalone series, Royally Screwed but my gosh this playboy totally did. I have always been a believer that the naughtiest, toughest womanizers fall the hardest when they find the one and this right here just proved it. Le Sigh. Yes… So many sighs and so much squealing happened over the course of one sitting.
The characters and their wicked chemistry are what made me fall madly in love with this book. I loved, LOVED both Henry and Sarah. Their vulnerabilities only proved to show how strong willed and in touch they were of themselves. I loved the honesty between them and their abilities to strengthen one another’s weaknesses. They were an answer to one another’s questions. It’s like they just fit together so perfectly even if from the exterior no one would ever think to put them together. Sarah, is a soul sister. An unpretentious literary enthusiast who once again proves that book nerds are the new sexy. She has a gentleness about her that could calm the harshest storms and in a way that’s exactly what she does with Henry. A modest, quiet, beautiful woman who tames the ostentatious, rowdy playboy prince. It’s what makes for the very best love stories.
Royally Matched was lit up by the delicious intimacy between Sarah and Henry. What is that saying?? “It’s always the quiet ones?”
You guys. The heat factor—WHOA MAMA!!! I was burning up and my lady bits were going haywire. I felt like I was literally vibrating—intense and inhibited. This is exactly what I mean when I say that I still believe in fairytales but my version just happens to have a dirtier mind. So flippin’ good!!! I had this silly smile on my face the entire time. Emma Chase has once again proven just why she’s an automatic must read author for me. The way that she’s able to weave the romance alongside the raunchy, and still be able to have you clenching your gut, rolling around the floor laughing is magic. No one else can quite pull it off like she can.
I will say it again, Royally Matched is SWOON WORTHY. It’s made for readers like me -- a hopeless romantic with a dirty, dirty mind. I cannot recommend this book enough. The perfect read to pick up at any time, at any day, anywhere. So basically, just buy this beauty and enjoy the heck out of Henry and Sarah like I did. This absolutely has my book shelf worthy stamp of approval and another one added to my top 2017 reads.

Royally Matched was everything I wanted and more.
A love story with humor, drama, and sex! This book will satisfy your royal appetite.
Royally Matched is a standalone novel within the Royally series. So for those who have read the first book in the series, you got to see Henry’s older brother’s story which eventually led to Henry acquiring the throne. After his brother abdicated his role as future King of Wessco, Henry was forced to part with his wild, partying ways. Fun is off the table now, and in its place sits a stack of legal reforms and proposals that he needs to inform himself with, and prepare to become king.
You can take the prince out of the wild, but you can’t take the wild out of the prince. Unbeknownst to the Queen, Henry signs on to a reality show that is set to find his future queen. Yet the woman of his dreams stands behind the scenes.
The biggest reason (yes, even more so than Henry himself) that I loved and thoroughly enjoyed this novel was because of Sarah. She’s a character that we will all surely adore and relate too. A bookworm and librarian with a deep appreciation for literature. (Won’t be too hard to picture yourself as the heroine, right ladies?) She’s a well-rounded gal with intelligence and a sweet disposition. She has the power to “tame” the wild prince, but never changes him into someone unrecognizable. Together they stay true to themselves and honestly become better versions.
Henry had already charmed me in Royally Screwed, but wow did he steal my heart entirely. He shows a whole other side to him; a vulnerable man who can make smart decisions and potentially be a great king. His treatment of Sarah was swoon worthy beyond belief. He treated her like a queen!
The two had tremendous chemistry! Like Nicholas and Olivia’s story (Royally Screwed), Henry and Sarah’s story was the right amount of spicy and sweet. Their relationship seemed very organic and their feelings always felt genuine. I loved reading their moments together; whether they were being cute, sensual, or simply chatting about mundane things.
A few laugh-out-loud moments, several chuckles, and endless swoony sighs. There are very few times that I feel like re-reading a book immediately after finishing it, but it happened in this case. I just couldn’t get enough of these two! I HIGHLY recommend this book and series! Emma Chase really outdid herself.
