Really enjoyed this book. Fun progression, interesting character moments, and a satisfying ending. My one criticism: the amount of grammatical errors increases dramatically during the last 5-10%. The biggest culprit is the dreaded misplaced comma. They start popping up like weeds. It’s a minor complaint that didn’t harm my enjoyment.

This book is great! I always start new litrpg books a little skeptically but I am so glad I gave this one a chance. This series will be amazing and the author has skyrocketed to one of my very favorites with this one book.

Amazing. Has to be one of the most exciting books I have read in a long time. Plausible story arc. Setting up the world both real and game with great forethought. I like the character growth and the Meta-plot is developing quite well. Seriously, BUY THIS!

I finished goblin slayer and luckily found this diamond! At first I was reminded of Re:Monster, but it went beyond my expectations. So smooth and organized without going beyond that line where it gets ridiculous to keep up with skills and OP abilities. The authur did a good job here where that one ability which you forgot about suddenly pops back and saves the day.

I look forward to the next one which is a definite buy for me.

This was a very interesting book. It reminds me of a manga I once read but this book takes an entirely different direction of world building which I can respect. Honestly this book does have some kinks to work out. You can tell the author wanted to make the characters as lifelike as possible while still being in the virtual game realm. He’s able to pull this off most of the time but sometimes the interactions seemed a bit forced. Nevertheless it’s s good book and story and I’d recommend it to any of my friends .... that liked video games or books at least

Great worldbuilding, starts off at a good pace and slow ratchets up. Ditto for character development which also has sone uniquely implemented ideas that take into account the 'monster race' aspects of this particular Lit-RPG. highly recommend for people ferreting through the genre looking for a great experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed the settlement building! It was fun and interesting. Really really enjoyed how the character acts and the "build" within the game. Can't get enough of dark or shadow characters builds. Great work, absolutely pleasure to read... already added to my "damn, now I must wait" kindle list

Top tier LitRPG. Storytelling is very similar to that of Aleron Kong's Chaos Seeds series. The setting is somewhat different, though. Also worth of noting is that while the plot armor of the MC is thick it's not ridiculously so: slightly less luck and freebies than in typical LitRPGs. The MC actually has to adapt and compromise.

Really enjoyed the basic premise of this book and its twist to the protagonist for LitRPG. One main detractor is its grammar at time, but this can be overlooked. On to the next book with excitement. Looking forward to seeing what happens to Oren, the intrepid goblin totem.

I’ve just recently discovered the LitRPG novel type and find I greatly enjoy it. This book was no exception. My only issue is that the very few authors of this style that I have read so far seem to lack access to a good editor or even proof reader. There are lots of glaring grammatical errors that distract from the enjoyment of the book. However, even with all of that I finished this book eager for the next installment and wanting to delve further into the LitRPG genre.

As a side note, any LitRPG authors that wanted to send me a copy of their book to read over and check for errors I would be more than happy to help! ;-)

Stats, skills, town building... this book has pretty much everything I look for in a litRPG, and few of the cringey tropes that plague the genre.

I read most of it when it was a web serial, and didn't hesitate to snag the edited, complete version now that it's available. Worth the money.

As some one who tends to prefer longer books over shorter ones. I was delighted to find this gem. Only complaint is that it seemed to me that every once in a while the hero would gain a level in a skill he already had obtained previously. Loved the concept of following a hero who plays a monster race and introducing us to goblin society. Looking forward to the next book in the series. Expecting great and dark things from this author. Keep up the great work mate.

Different than the usual LitRPG. Has some town building aspects which are good. Has the usual leveling up. Can be a bit gruesome at points with torture but thankfully, this is a small part. Overall, a good read.

Just finished the book and truly enjoyed the read. I was looking around for a new read and found this beauty. The protagonist is not OP... or not anymore ahaha which is good. Just read it and enjoy!!!!

I really liked this book, the story is compelling, the character is interesting. I'd like to give this 5 stars, but the grammar holds me back. I find a grammar issue nearly every page. While I think the story is quite good, the grammar distracts me from it. It seems like a small thing to have someone grammar check your work . . . .

This story raises the Bar of LIT-RPG stories. The epic adventures of a high level guild leader betrayed and living on Despite extreme adversity. Forced to restart as a level 1 on player monster race and set to turn the world inside out from playing for the other side as a Mob Boss.

Probably my favorite LitRPG story so far. Nicely written, good story, unusual perspective. Plenty of framework details and thankfully the author doesn't forget that the reader enjoys the level progressions....

My only disappointment is that there are currently only two books!

Our hero is polymorphed by his Guild members into a lowly goblin. After many trials and tribulations he becomes the leader of his tribe - a Boss monster.
Now, how do you grow your nascent tribe into a world conquering force?

I thought the book was VERY well written and established characters fluently. The Main Character was never over powered as is very common in this genre. I also liked the fact the main character is a Goblin, which helps shed light on little cared for monsters.

Definitely a book worth sitting down to read. Although, I had several moments in which left me seriously questioning the character and his actions. His quest giving for example, Vic and the main character both speak on how he is a stickler for efficiency yet instead of using his quest ability to its utmost he misses opportunities left and right to take advantage of it.

This book is not perfect. The dialogue is simple. The mc has a great arc of learning to except his situation. The author did a good job making the real world unavailable for the mc. Hopefully the author continues to improve his writing.

Fantastic writing, great use of game elements, and satisfyingly long. I can't recommend this enough to lovers of this genre. There's a lot of city building but there's a healthy dose of action and adventure, too.

It is a gripping and engrossing story. Definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. There are a lot of typos, and it could really use a thorough proof reading. At times it does detract from the story a little bit, but I was still able to get through. I would definitely buy a 2nd book, even with the typos.

I liked the switch up with the character being force to deal with monster side of rpgs. Usually it all ways a human or elf. So I'm looking forward to what you have planned for the next book. Hope its soon.

Like the author I enjoy the city building aspect of LitRPGs. He has done a great job with this book and I am eagerly looking forward to the next in the series. He also had some cool set up and framing on how the main character ended up where he did.

Goes quite deep on the mechanics of village building and peon management, and doesn't phone in the personal leveling or combat aspects either. At the same time, tells a well-paced and compelling story, make you care about the characters, and the general quality of writing is maintained to a pretty high standard.

I would put this and Awaken Online in a tier unto themselves at the top of the LitRPG rankings.

Reading Life Reset was refreshingly different than many of the LitRPGs I've been reading lately. A wonderful hero who grows and improves with the added enjoyment of a city builder included. Also, the book is satisfyingly robust, so that even though there is only one in the series right now, I didn't feel as though the story was truncated. Try it, you'll be thankful.

Great book if you love LitRPG! I have been reading a lot of LitRPG since I discovered it and until I read this book I didn't realize that I wanted to read a city building styled book until now! Really looking forward to more in this series! Now I gotta go back to the kindle unlimited salt mines to try to find more books like this.

I have read several author who explore the LitRPG style and I must say that this first installment in hopefully a long series is dead on what I am looking for in this genre.
You did great mister for a first book. Keep working hard and I will keep following you closely.

I think this is an incredible litrpg book and does a wonderful job of settlement expansion. I want this series to go on for a long time. This book is 800 pages of awesomeness. It was one of those books that as I got closer to the end I started to dread finishing the book because I was enjoying it so very much.

Quite the good read, and an interesting direction in the LitRPG field. I quite enjoyed it, and appreciate the fact you not only wrote a very entertaining book, but didn't try to gouge the readers on the price. I very much look forward to the next book you write, be it in this series or another.

The book kept things moving and interesting, and there were only a couple minor things that irked me. The main thing was the lawyer, who basically thinks that he can get legally binding contracts with a person that is literally being held hostage, as well as the company thinking that they could pull that off? Like I said, really minor and otherwise a great read.

Very fun and interesting read. I liked the premise and it never felt over top or too "deus ex machina" like. This would definitely be a 5 star, but this book badly needs an editor's read through. Lots of typographical errors, grammatical errors, redundancy, and some simple timeline errors.

Just started getting into LitRPG and so far have liked everything. Something about this book was different though and I had a hard time putting it down. Maybe the whole NPC thing or just not being a player....i loved it. Can't wait for the next one!
