An Epic LitRPG Adventure (Afterlife Online Book 1)
An Epic LitRPG Adventure (Afterlife Online Book 1)

Review:Fun concept, good read, good character development, one of the plot twists was a bit predictable. Main Characters were believable, more development of 2nd tier characters would be better. Will definitely read more of the series. Read more

Epic LitRPG Adventure (Fayroll - More Than a Game

Review:I really liked this one. Having recently gotten into the Lit genre, I may not have read as much as others but this is one is in the top. The writing is style is good, the story line is intriguing and I like the humor.
Thank you to the translators for the linked notes so I could understand the culture references.

Critical Failures (Caverns and Creatures Book 1)
Critical Failures (Caverns and Creatures Book 1)

Review:Nothing mind blowing but it was a quick and enjoyable read. The best part about the book is that it made me want to read more "D&D" based fiction. Just not necessarily the next book in this particular series. Read more

Succubus: A LitRPG Series
Succubus: A LitRPG Series

Review:Did not finish. Main character deliberately over-pathetic, impossible to empathise or even sympathise with, let alone identify with. "Designated doormat" while also showcasing "males are perverts" without even the conviction to act on it

I find relationships where a character does everything they can to piss of the MC, and never have to deal with consequences, because they're "designated friends" to be essentially abusive. And that's the imp.

Succubus: similar. Deliberately creatin... Read more

The Noble Hustle: Poker, Beef Jerky, and Death
The Noble Hustle: Poker, Beef Jerky, and Death

Review:An entertaining read. It'll make you laugh and it'll make you cringe, but one thing it won't do is teach you anything about the game of poker -- that said, perhaps that's not the point of the book. If you're looking for a good satire and a good laugh, it's a good read. Read more

Quidditch Through the Ages (Hogwarts Library book)
Quidditch Through the Ages (Hogwarts Library book)

Review:I loved the other short story ebooks published by J.K. Rowling, but Quidditch Through the Ages disappoints. It could be because it's supposed to be an actual book for wizards by 'Kennilworthy Whisp,' but it dragged on and on about history, teams, plays, etc. etc. I thought, "Okay, you can stop making stuff up now." I would recommend the others over this book: 'Short Stories from Hogwarts of Power, Politics and Pesky Poltergeists,' 'Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide,' and 'Short Storie... Read more

Challenge (Unbound Deathlord Series Book 1) - Unbound Deathlord
Challenge (Unbound Deathlord Series Book 1) - Unbound Deathlord

Review:At first, I thought this was significantly derivative of Alter World by D. Rus. But, it was well written and engaging, so I stuck with it. The story turned out to be quite fun and it has promise in the sequels to follow. Sadly, this is early in, so there is no other title this author has published to see if he is in it for the long haul. Mr. Castle has a web log and he posts his writing there serially, much as Dickens did back in the day when he wrote Pickwick Papers for newspapers in London. It... Read more
