Considering the info provided before I read the book I was expecting a sub par book, but I was pleasantly surprised by the content. Great character development and I enjoyed the pacing throughout the book overall 5/5. Looking forward to book 2!

Written by another mmorpger, you just can't fake it!
An artist, a wordsmith, a true storyteller. Soulful, erotic, funny, and simply a beautiful story.
Not what I expected.
Well done, I can't wait for the next.
Sir, I salute you.

This gets a one-star simply for how stupid the protagonist was. He was playing a VIDEO GAME and yet all he did was moan about how sad he felt about the little skunk he accidentally killed, the cute little piggies he had to hunt for a quest, how he couldn't kill some random farmer who attacked him. Just stupid.

I'm intrigued with this series. I'm on the third and I'm not sure yet how I feel about that one. This series is an interesting idea, but I would have liked the AI to be fleshed out more and that is why I didn't give it 5 stars. Warning: It is somewhat misogynistic and is a guilty read for sure, but fun nonetheless.

This is by far one of the most self aware and brilliant books I've read in a long time. The fact that people refer to this novel in many of the 1 star reviews as smut or porn have clearly not read the book and it's a disservice to this piece. Read for the expected dirty stuff, stay for the awesome story and amazing characters.

First, this is a book is about the main character, an imp, and a succubus. A succubus is a demon that essentially feeds off sex. So yes, this book does have a lot of naughty parts. If that turns you off, then look elsewhere. However, if you like that kind of book, this is one of the better ones! I really enjoy the interaction between the main character and the succubus as well as other characters. Almost feel bad for him sometimes! The imp has a devilish humor, and the succubus is a b..... ummm... challenge. Looking forward to book 2!

I never got into the whole litRPG concept before, but I went ahead and tried this book since it was free as a kindle unlimited book. I was drawn into the story quickly and never lost interest. It’s funny in places and serious in others. Perhaps the greatest praise I can give is to say that at no point did I pay attention to spelling, punctuation,or any of the other sins that we reviewers tend to obsess over. I’m moving on to book 2 with great anticipation.

A very unclassic love story that made you feel all the frustration and wonderful of the main character as he tries to get a grip on everything. Comic bad luck mixed with some snarky humor makes for a very enjoyable read. I am looking forward to the next installment.

I loved the storyline, the characters, and the long term plot. You really start to care about the characters as they develop and adventure! Went through it in one sitting looking forward to 2 installment. Highly recommended!

Warning. Does have some adult scenes
Great story. Engaging characters. Moderate system elements. Good treatment of some larger moral questions. Does have some tasteful adult scenes, so not for juniors

Please RateSuccubus: A LitRPG Series
I find relationships where a character does everything they can to piss of the MC, and never have to deal with consequences, because they're "designated friends" to be essentially abusive. And that's the imp.
Succubus: similar. Deliberately creating sexual situations, ESPECIALLY on someone who doesn't know how to play those types of games, while not intending to follow through, is very unattractive - especially when you have supernatural abilities to influence him,. If you don't want to sleep with him, don't deliberately mess with his head. Also abusive, but treated as acceptable, without consequence.
Logically, you're not going to go out of your way to piss off someone who can literally order you to do anything - unless they're a patsy. Definitely get the impression that someone with fewer ethics would get better treatment from everyone involved.
