really interesting book. If you play poker outside the confines of a casino, you really get where she's coming from. It's an interesting world and its a good read - it will be fun to see how the movie plays out

I bought this book after seeing the movie. I thought the movie was riveting and I am very much a grumpy critic. The movie was so goo I decided to buy the book. Like most movie-book comparisons, the book won the contest. I sure had, and still have , questions about what ever happened to all of her money at the end.

Authentic story on her terms. A trailblazer. Great example for woman kind! I wonder if the government ever gave her money back. Can't believe a mob boss beat up a woman in her own home, how terrorizing. Molly Bloom is very strong

Interesting insight into the Hollywood life style and how relatively unimportant money is to the elite. The descriptions of the various celebrities and high rollers was fascinating, albeit, not that surprising.

A captivating story that is interesting for a wide audience beyond those who enjoy poker. It’s a high stakes adventure providing the layperson a peak into a world few will ever truly know or understand.

Molly's story is one of strength, determination, power, greed , and growth!! Loved it! Excellent movie as well. In a man's world Molly conquered all. She also showed incredible character and morals in a world where most lack character and morals

Very easy and enjoyable read certainly worth your time. Good pace to book overall and if you enjoy personal non fiction stories i recommend it. Some interesting background on some people you may know

Overall, this was a very interesting read. However, the proofreader needs to be fired. Numerous grammatical and punctuation errors were found all over the place. There are two nagging questions I found after I finished though: (1) What happened when she returned for the game in L. A.? She got to Vegas and set up the story for a good climax on seeing Tobey again and just dropped it. (2) What happened to her parents? One page they are celebrating Christmas. The next she discusses her parents living in other houses.

I still think it was a good read. It just lacked closure on a few issues.

I like Molly the most.. even though she struggled and succumbed to a materialistic and superficial world, she still was likable and even admirable. There was very little I disliked . She accurately portrayed the greed and hubris evident in many of these individuals.

More often than not I find that I am disappointed after watching well regarded movies.This was not true of Molly's Game. I loved it.. Jessica Chastain was fantastic and the story held my attention from start to finish.

I loved this story. Molly Bloom took bold risks and later lost it all- her 9 million fortune seized by the Feds. Wasn't clear to me exactly what she had done illegally, was it "association"/ socializing with Russian Mob that Feds disliked so much or something illegal that she'd actually done ? Or was it that she was a convenient target for the Feds ? The giant bust and accolades they'd get for it ? Will have to read sequels.

Fast-paced, told in a conversational format as if you were having a drink with an old friend. A riveting, yet cautionary tale of money, greed, and high-stakes poker. And who knew that Tobey Maguire was such an a**hole!

Read it right after I watched the movie! Brought out a lot more details that I was interested in after loving the movie. Great read to see how having it all is never guaranteed to make you happy! Crazy story! Calls out some celebrities too!
