Everyone should have dancing with Jesus on their bookshelf. I purchased this for my white elephant gift exchange at Christmas and we literally laughed so hard we cried - and it was stolen so many times it retired itself very quickly and ended up going home with my grandmother! The graphics are so cool and the dance instructions are creative and educational all at the same time! Awesome!

Purchased as a white elephant gift for our bible study group. Not only do I think that everyone will find it a riot, I'm pretty certain the Lord God Himself is having a pretty decent chuckle. Bonus: The front cover is "holographic" and Jesus actually dances. So much win in one tiny book!

Really funny, yet non-offensive to any but the most humorless Christians. Minor nitpicks include the size of the book and the amount of content, and some of the mentioned characters in the intro and back cover (Moses and Mary Magdalene) don't make appearances. Great novelty gift or purchase for people of all creeds or lack thereof.

How could this ever not receive a 5-star rating?? It's a good heavy-weight paper/cardboard page construction. It has a hologram on the front to make Jesus dance. It has awesome dance names throughout the book. I know I'll be busting out these moves at the next wedding I attend.

I must not have read the description carefully because I had no idea the front cover and last page of the book are ANIMATED! Love it. I've owned it for one day and it has gotten lots of laughs already.

Jesus has serious skills, and the Apostles have a few moves of their own. Not for everyone, but there are many who find this irreverent little gem amusing as hell. Gave it to my bro-in-law for Christmas and now that he's mastered the Lazarus Lurch, he's conditioning for the Water Walk. That's a way better dance move than moon-walking; seriously.

Got this for Christmas. Nothing like a little sacrilege for the holidays! ? If you're not a fanatic and won't get your panties in a twist over the hilarity of this book, order and laugh for hours with your heathen (more fun) friends.

Excellent book -- I gave this to my best friend before the baptism of her daughter. My husband and I are her daughter's godparents and she and her husband are the godparents of my son and we're all definitely the kind of people who never take ourselves too seriously and also find this kind of humor very appealing. The ONLY THING I wasn't prepared for was The Judas Shuffle where the illustration has a noose around Dancing Jesus's neck. If you know the biblical story, it makes total sense. However, I knew that my friend lost her father to suicide (by hanging) and it made my stomach drop when I turned to that page. I knew she wouldn't be offended by it but I also didn't want her to be upset or for it to trigger anything. I ended up giving it to her anyway and she thought it was great. I just figured I would let any potential buyers know about "that page" in case they or their intended recipient might be sensitive to something like that..

Hilarious. Seriously. Our family is a Christian, church-going family so it wasn't a "gag" gift per se, but it definitely made our whole family laugh when my brother opened this as part of his gift on Christmas. Plus it made for some great conversation as we talked about the stories that inspired the seriously funny dance moves. Work it, Jesus!
