I began reading this series as I received the 1st book as a birthday gift. By the time I had finished half of the first one, I knew I was hooked and immediately began my search for the remaining three.
It is a light read that draws you in and keeps you coming back for more excitement, suspense and thrill!

After reading the first book, I immediately went to my computer and ordered the Tiger's Quest. It arrived a few days later, and I finished it in a few short nights. This book is every bit as good as the first book, if not better. If you allow yourself to be absorbed you will be entranced by the beauty of the entire story. It is a beautiful romance, a tangled romance, at times heartbreaking.....but it's also full of excitement, joy, passion and otherworldly-ness. I am so utterly grateful for finding this set of books......it is a way to escape your own life, without doing anything illegal = )

This series is my favorite! The story gets better with every book and highlights my local Oregon and lots of places in India. Kishan and Ren are awesome and the adventure just gets more intense. Still better than Twlight and Stephenie Meyers. This is a must read! Waiting for #3:)

In Tiger's Quest, Kelsey makes a decision to return to Oregon without Dhiren and begin college. She believes she is doing this in order to allow Ren the chance to experience everything the world has to offer him, since he was trapped inside the body of a tiger for so many years. What she doesn't understand is that Ren has already decided what he wants out of life, and Kelsey is what he wants.
For months Ren tries to give Kelsey the space she claims she wants and Kelsey tries to live like a regular college student, even dating other men and deciding finally that she was ready to move on. But Ren has other ideas, and arriving unexpectedly at Christmastime, Ren once again invades Kelsey's world and captures her heart. The pair spend several idyllic weeks together, both attending college classes and going on normal dates, until danger once again finds them and they have to run for their lives.
Kelsey and Ren become separated, and Kelsey finds herself having to rely on Ren's brother, Kishan, and Mr. Kadam to help her. In order to locate Ren and free him from the evil that once again holds him prisoner, Kelsey and Kishan set out on a quest to find another missing piece to the puzzle that is the Tiger's Curse.
This second installment was beautifully written, with the present-day story seamlessly interwoven once again with captivating legends. In one action-packed chapter after another, Ms. Houck once again ensnared me in the web of her imagination and I was loathe to leave her world behind at the end.

Be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster nestled into an action-packed, adventure story. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll pee your pants. Ok maybe not the pants peeing part, but I did have a hard time putting the book down & can't wait for the 3rd one.

The product description is sorta inaccurate, leading one to believe that Li is the main rival. Not so!! The real rival is the hero's brother, Kishan. I LOVE Kishan!!!!
Kelsey goes back to Oregon to give Ren a chance to experience human life without holding him back. There, she tries to date other guys. The main guy being Li. After a few months of platonic dating, Ren comes back into Kelsey's life and a rivalry between Li and Ren emerges. (the rivalry between Li and Ren is totally hilarous!)
Of course, she chooses Ren (he's totally dreamy) and they live out a happy 5 weeks before danger finds them. Ren is captured and Kelsey teams up with Ren's brother, Kishan, to free him. Kishan has feelings for Kelsey and while they are teaming up to rescue Ren, he realizes that he loves her too.
They do end up rescuing Ren, but at a price that made me cry! The ending really leaves you wanting more. Tiger's Quest is a delicious follow-up to Tiger's Curse. It was really great and I can't wait for the next book in the series!!!
