The battle between heaven and hell rages on Earth as its battlefield. Angels versus Demons fight to tip the scale in their favor. Landon strives to maintain the balance between good and evil.

Excellent read. I enjoyed the fluidity of the book. An equal balance of dialogue and action sequences. The book had me intrigued by the development of its main character, Landon.

This was a very entertaining, enjoyable book with littler filler. The main hero was very likable, as were the great supporting characters. Very good world building. Even though the standard urban fantasy tropes were present, they weren't cringe worthy and felt natural. Will definitely follow this series!

Forbes manages to develop and refine characters and plot into a book that you simply can't put down! Vampires, weres, archangels, runes...it's all there and twisted into a great story! Just bought the next book...we'll see if it's as good!
Brutal Asset (The Demon Accords Book 3) :: The Soul of a New Machine :: a Man Who Would Cure the World (Random House Reader's Circle) :: a Man Who Would Cure the World (Paperback); 2009 Edition :: Fallen Stars (The Demon Accords Book 5)

Definitely one of the best urban fantasies I've found. Some parts were a little predictable but the overall story was fun. It was a good mix of biblical legend with modern fantasy. Can't wait to see where the story goes from here.

Awesome story. I couldn't put it down. Great character development. Interesting perspective. I don't normally post a review, but I wholeheartedly disagree with the 1 star review. So I hope my review will "balance" it out ;) This author deserves lots of support. And I can't wait for the next addition to the series!

I found the book to be enjoyable, with engaging characters. I must admit I was surprised at the fact that it was a 'self published book' - it is deserving of a major publisher. I am set to read the next book in the series.
