I've been a fan from the start and I absolutely love to pick up a book and read it till the very end. In which, I would definately reccomend this book! It leaves you hanging everytime you try to put it down. It is completely worth it! Love the whole series!<3 Especially for me, a teenage girl,

this book felt so much like the last one they run around making presumptions that so and so is A and then they realize they were wrong in the end . the books are tired and they NEED AN ENDING . who is A already.

Hanna, Emily, Aria, and Spencer are the main characters of the book, Burned. It's time for the girls’ senior year cruise to Puerto Rico, but it doesn’t really turn out that way the girls had wanted and expected. “A” still has a thing for torturing these four pretty little liars. The girls just keep on assuming who “A” is, is it Graham, Naomi, or Ali herself? Nobody knows who to expect.
I enjoyed this book because it was interesting and suspenseful. I liked the Sara Shepard wrote this mystery case. The way it was written had a few humorous moments or there were serious moments. I think the most interesting part was when the girls were all on their dates and they all had gone wrong. The genre is mystery because the girls are trying to figure out who “A” is. In conclusion I think this a story teen readers would enjoy.

The Pretty Little Liars take a Jamaican cruise in this installment. However, this book is a companion to Twisted which featured the girls in Jamaica. In this book, readers learn that the trip is school sponsored and students will be receiving school credit. The trip is a vehicle for an environmental project.

Hanna is still coming around after a devasting auto accient that left another person seriously injured. The injured woman is a cousin of the redoubtable Naomi Ziegler, frenemy to all, trustworthy to none. The ruthless Naomi has a history of bird dogging people's boyfriends and has sunk her hooks into Spencer's newest flame. Hanna, the most unfortunate of the Liars makes a decision that has devastating repercussions. It's a sad reminder of Hanna's car escapade in an earlier installment when she went joyriding in her then boyfriend's dad's BMW. Her brush with A involves a possible chance encounter with someone she once knew. Is that person to be trusted? Is that person A or in any way connected with A?

Aria, who has always been my favorite Liar meets a new flame named Graham. Once she finds out that he was related to Tabitha, who might have been A, she wonders if he, too was in on A's escApAdes. Aria and her fellow Liars went toe-to-toe with Tabitha the last time they were in Jamaica as Tabitha endangered their lives. Many clues leading to the identity of the mysterious A abound. Could A be Naomi? Graham? Both of them? Was Tabitha in any way involved with or as an A? And did she know anything about A?

Emily meets a possible A. A girl named Jordan stows away on the ship and immediately sparks Emily's interest. The girls immediately become a couple and Emily is all too happy to stash Jordan away in her room. Jordan is a mystery and Emily is completely beguiled by and bewitched by her. She might be the key to the mysteries that surround the Liars and she might be an A. Is Jordan who and what she says she is? And where did she come from?

Spencer met someone in the previous installment, a drug dealer with the apt nickname of Reefer. Reefer has quite a cottage industry of cultivating marijuana and providing people with all the grass they want to buy. Spencer is so wrapped up in a purple haze that she almost gets taken out by A. Could Reefer be an A? And if so, is he in any way connected with the mysteries involving the Liars?

Wherever the girls go, you can count on adversity following them. They foolishly take off on their own in a lifeboat to dispose of a locket that may be A related. A, whoever she/he/they may be somehow causes their boat to sink and they are marooned on a small island.

Somehow A is in the vicinity, following the girls like a malign shadow. Who is A? Could A be someone in their class? Any of a number of people could be A. There might be multiple As. And will the Liars unmask A?

This series is a guilty pleasure for many, myself included. It will be worth following the trail of clues that may or may not lead to the identity of A.

The cover:

Just like the previous books in the series, this cover features a liar (in this case that’s Aria) along with the title of the book in a unique font. I’m just starting to wonder if all the books which have Aria on the cover have something in common…

The storyline:

I started this book back in March, and stopped at 40% because of my dear finals, so I read 60% this afternoon, and I loved it! I’m so glad I left it for now, this book has a summer and vacation feeling to it.

The summary:

The girls are finally on vacation and going on a cruise. They’re trying to get passed what they did back in Jamaica and all the A-drama, but good luck with that with A right on board.

Aria is enjoying the vacation with Noel, becomes a friend with someone who she may need to stay away from.

Emily is still burdened by the secret she hasn’t told her friends about yet and her family is not talking to her and they don’t even look her in the eye. A new and unwelcomed guest on the cruise takes her thoughts and heart. She’s so happy and can’t believe she’s lucky to be happy after all what they’ve done. But maybe she’s right, it’s too good to be true.

After getting over all this boy drama we’ve been through in the previous book, Hanna is finally relaxing with Mike and hoping to get her tanning right this time. She also makes a new awkward friend, whom she thinks can’t be trusted, probably because they know about an accident she was involved in sometime ago.

Will A be able to get them after all?! That’s what we all want to know!

What I loved:

- Okay, so this book is full of suspense and thriller. I’ve been holding my breath every time I sense something is going wrong. I just couldn’t help but suspect everyone on the cruise. Everyone was acting weird and off balance.

- The story is well built and way better than the previous book. It’s so intense and you expect A to jump at the liars every 5sec!

- The writing as usual is just smooth and really good.

- For some reason, the liars have matured a lot and they’re better at dealing with stuff, especially Aria, I liked her a lot in this book.

- Oh God the last few chapters! They were so tense. I had all types of emotions trying to finish them. They were great.

What I disliked:

- Mainly one thing: why does the author keep making the liars so stupid? It’s way obvious from the beginning that A is setting them up just like the previous book. It was so tiring reading many chapters just wishing they could have avoided all this trouble just if “they’d learned anything” from what happened before.

The characters:

I can’t talk about most of the characters because I’ll spoil the story.

Aria is my favorite in this book. She’s so mature, calm, friendly and just the best in the group.

Emily is the emotional one, she’s always comforting and taking care of others ignoring her own problems.

Spencer is over thinking stuff which only helps A in his/her plan. But she’s way better than before, she’s mostly scared A will sabotage her new relationship to get to her.

Hanna is enjoying the cruise and throughout the story she stays out of trouble and tries to enjoy a vacation without A coming across her mind every second.

Favorite quotes:

Ever told a lie to save yourself? Maybe you blamed the dent in your parents’ Mercedes on your brother so you could still go to the spring formal. Maybe you told your Algebra teacher you weren’t part o… --- Hit and Run.

Clownfish are pretty,
Starfish are pale.
Will Aria’s boyfriend
Visit her in jail?
—A --- Chapter 19: Dead Man’s Float.

Emily: I’m okay. Not going to where we planned, but somewhere even better. We’ll find each other someday—that’s a promise. --- Chapter 33: Emily Gets Her Wishes.

Conclusion:

This is, yet again, one of my favorite reads this year. I’m so excited to be coming closer to the end of this series and yet I’m so sad it’s going to end (in next December! *_*).

{my thoughts} - This series is getting more and more twisted and badly addicting. I don't mean that in a really good way either. I really like I am just reading these so I can find out once and for all what happens. I'm almost to the point of where I don't think I care too much for the end. I think it's more I want it to be over. Anyways, like all the other books the girls are are keeping secrets and telling lies and getting into more and more of a hole then they had been in before. It seems like they don't even have to try, somehow they manage to hurt those that are close to them and push people away that they shouldn't. They have a massive trust issue - which leaves them to only really trust one another. I honestly think it would be hilarious if it turns out that "A" is actually one of the "4″ girls. Why because it wouldn't be obvious - considering that they get messages at the same time - sometimes separate. But how else would "A" always know what is going on. It makes sense to me. They are pros at lying and keeping secrets so why wouldn't they play such a cruel game with those that are suppose to be their friends. I don't know really.

In this book Hannah gets into a crash, Emily considers running away with a new friend she meets on a school cruise trip, Spencer almost loses the one boy that seems to care about her and Aria almost dies. Sounds like ever other book, always trouble, always lies, secrets and mischief. The fact that I am so addicted to finding out what is going to be the end is the only thing making me continue to read these books. I honestly have lost any real interest in them, which probably isn't a good thing. I also don't think that this series should have been written as so many books either. I'm going to complete the series because I must finish what I start, but really it should have been completed around book "5″ or "6″ this is just too many. Should could have written spin offs or something to keep engaging readers, but keeping the same series running for so long - probably not for the best.

{reason for reading} - I read this book because I have read the previous 11 and I am in love with the television series.

I thought this entry would be better because the four girls were on a cruise together, so they'd be better at properly communicating without keeping things to themselves. Shepard still finds a way to have these girls act and think against proper logic. While there was definitely an improvement on their communication, there was still some disconnects and secrets between each other, among a sea of convenient timings. Did you notice the pun? Haha.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: this series is dragging along. Each entry is fine. It's passable. It's not bad writing, or terrible in plot. It's just... discounted meat. Past its prime, without anywhere to go.

I'm not sure if the series will recover to the height it reached in "Wanted", the 8th entry meant to be the end (and, as I think about it, should have been) but what I can say is this: Shepard keeps rehashing similar concepts. Her characters aren't evolving book by book.

Oh, ______ MUST BE "A"!
(why? why are you so sure?)

OH WE ALL GOT A TEXT AT THE END WHILE ______ IS IN A COMA, OR DEAD, OR LOCKED IN AN ASYLUM, OR SOMETHING. THEY CAN'T BE "A"!
(gee, ya think?)

That about sums up this 3rd arc in the story. Four books into it, and several different people either accused of being "A", or accused of (somehow) being Ali. Their evidence is based around a series of FAR too convenient circumstances, like texts that just happen to come at the perfect time, or times when "A" is there when, really, how?! How was "A" there for some of that? "A" is a human being, not some supernatural omnipresent spirit. Or how about the constant blonde hair they see, or the giggles? WHY DOESN'T SHE GO INVESTIGATE THAT?!

Furthermore, this time around, not just did they suspect someone as A that didn't seem to hold much water, but they suspected there were two A's working in tandem, and the other person they figured it was made even less sense. Seriously, every time they suspect someone who hasn't been part of their lives for long, it's like: really? REALLY?!

It's almost as if this entire series would make more sense if the girls were all still around 7th / 8th grade, because only children that young would have that little common sense. As in, these 4 girls fail to see the idiocy behind such baseless accusations. OH "A" MUST BE THIS MIDDLE-AGED WOMAN WHO WAS ACTING A BIT WEIRD! I'm older so maybe I'm more cynical, but I bet even early teen readers were like "seriously?"

Was it an okay entry? Sure. It was fine. But I thought it would end the story arc after 4 books like before... but nooooo, Shepard thinks 4 books in one story arc isn't enough, and it needs to drag on.

As I write this review, a 16th book has been announced. This series is losing fans by the day, and I'm now 50/50 as to whether I'll continue. I will read the next book as I assume it wraps up this current 3rd story arc (and hopefully fills in this Aria-Iceland thing) but then? Well, we will wait and see how I feel after "Crushed". As for Burned? It didn't sink like an anchor, but I certainly didn't cruise through it. It had a boatload of issues. Okay, enough with the puns. 6.5/10

Earlier this year, I started reading the PLL series and finally got up to date right as Stunning came out. So, this was the first actual gap I've had to sit through between two of the books. It was an interesting experience. But, picking up another Pretty Little Liars book after not reading one for about six months is kind of like going back to an old friend's house, sitting in front of their fire place, and having a homemade snack. It's really nice and I wish I could convey to some of my friends how good these books are. They are kind of petty and sometimes unbelievable, but still light, addicting, and fun. I'm a lot more tolerant with the plot holes in this series than with anything else, actually. No matter what, the books are interesting.

Burned was not a let down. After reading a lot of the Pretty Little Liars books, you can start to predict the way the characters think and how the action will happen. That was definitely evident for me in this book and it was really my only complaint. The girls spent a lot of time suspecting people of A, but having gone through this same scenario many times with previous books, I knew from the beginning that they were going to be wrong. This is kind of the case with each novel in the series, but I felt they spent a little more time than normal accusing people of being the stalker. Maybe that's just me, but whatever. Either way, for every twist I DID expect, there was another one that I couldn't predict. It was enough to keep me on the edge of my seat and really surprise me from time to time.

I'm really excited with the direction that the series is going in. It's a little different than the early books, but it has to be- they can't tell the police about A, because no one would believe them. So, they're forced to take some matters into their own hands. Each character is a lot more paranoid than they used to be and you can start to see how the events that have taken place over the past couple of years have affected them. In the end though, it's still the same old series that you're used to if you've been following the books until now. But it's reaching that high point again where A is becoming more violent and I'm wondering if this time one of the Liars will actually be hurt by him or her. A lot of the clues at the end of this novel got me curious too and alluded to Ali still being alive, which I think would be the most plausible and interesting direction for the plot to go. With the PLL books in the past, you've always found out who A was in every fourth novel (#4 & #8), but this time we didn't. Sara Shepard has said that there will only be two more books, so I'm thinking it's going to be one crazy ending, if it has to be extended for more books. We'll see.

Either way, this is another great edition to the PLL series! I'm really aggravated that we have to wait until June for the next installment, but at least Ali's Pretty Little Lies will be out soon- I'm definitely looking forward to that. If you've read these books in the past, I would highly suggest you pick up Burned. For me, the series is still interesting and hasn't gotten old, which is hard for a series spanning over twelve books to do. Props to the author.

This is the twelveth book in the Pretty Little Liars series. Hanna gets in an accident when driving a drunk girl named madison home. They move Madison's body to the drivers seat so Hanna won't get in trouble. Months later they go on a school cruise. Spencer begins to like this guy named Reefer. Aria and Noel are happy. Hanna and Mike are back together. Emily's parents shun her because Emily tells them about her baby. Aria bonds with a guy named Graham who knew Tabitha and that she was his girlfriend. Naomi is Madison's cousin. Emily sees a girl in her room, her name is Jordan Richards, Emily allows her to stay in her room. Emily finds out that "Jordan" is actually a girl named Katherine who is wanted be the police for stealing cars, boats etc. There is an explosion on the boat. Everyone gets home, but Graham is in a coma. Jordan sends a postcard to Emily.

I started reading this series back in high school and I'm now 23. I don't know if its because I'm older or what but I am so ready for the series to just end. I loved it when a new PLL book would be released, but this one was such a let down. I normally finish these books in a day or so and it took me weeks to get through this one. At this point I'm just reading them out of obligation. When Sara Shephard wrote books 5-8, she did a great job of continuing the story. Books 9-12 are all over the place, confusing, and incredibly unbelievable! The characters seem to act irrational and they no longer seem to have the same characteristics as they did in earlier books. It's definitely time to end the series. Reading a book out of obligation is no fun!

Omg , have you ever discovered a series that you just have to read and every time you read it , it makes your blood pump and you are ecstatic and overjoyed and you fall into that feeling of comfort and excitement ? For me, one of the series that does it is the Pretty Little Liars series and as soon as I discovered that Book #12 Burned was available I knew I just had to read it.
You would think that the foursome would know never to stray far from Rosewood as even out in the middle of nowhere , "A" can find them. In Burned , we learn that before the Cruise in which the four girls are going to take is that Hanna took a girl home from the club, only to have the car crash and Hanna calling the girls helped put Madison in the drivers seat and fled the scene. Now on the Cruise , we discover Emily is trying still to be forgiven from her parents when they discovered that she gave birth last summer - what will happen when Emily stumbles across a stowaway who happens to be a rich escaped convict ? When she offers Emily the chance to disappear - will Emily take it or will "A" call the authorities about the stowaway before Emily can ? Aria , signing up for a scavenger hunt ends up getting paired with a boy from another school - what happens though when it turns out that Aria's new partner is none other than Tabitha - the girl that they "killed" in Jamaica ? Does he know more than he is letting on about what happened that night in Jamaica ? Hanna and Spencer will be in for a surprise as remember Naomi - from the previous Pretty Little Liar books . Well, Naomi will turn out to be Hanna's roommate and even worse is that Naomi turns out to be none other than Madison's cousin - does Madison know what really happened that night and has she shared it with Naomi ? Spencer's hunky friend from Princeton - Reefer is also on the cruise but what will happen when it seems that someone else wants Reefer all to herself - will Naomi win Reefer all to herself when "A" starts threatning Spencer to stay away or else ?
Find out all this and more in the latest Pretty Little Liars release - Burned by Sara Shepard

What I Liked: 1) The humor. The Pretty Little Liars books always have some humor, mostly in how outrageous they are. But there was more...what I viewed as intentional humor in this one. Oh, some of the things happening were still pretty outlandish, but the intentional humor was a new angle that I enjoyed. 2) New characters. Sometimes it's nice to break up this story with some new and fresh characters. They don't always stick around for very long, but as long as it can throw "A" suspicion on someone else, it's great fun. 3) A new setting. I think it must have been hard to come up with things that "A" could pull on the girls while on a cruise ship. It definitely made this one stand out from the other stories which have kind of started to run together.

What I Didn't Like: Y'all know I love this series, but I'm ready for the ending. It seems like it's just being dragged out longer than it needs to be. I think there is only one book left, but it's about time. I'm ready to find out where this has all been leading, and this book especially just felt like it was reaching.

Overall Thoughts: Honestly, this book, while it added a new setting, and some new characters, felt like a filler just propelling us forward to the next book. As much as I have enjoyed this series, I know I can't be the only one who is ready for "A" to have her butt kicked once and for all.

I enjoyed this a lot, except for the looks of the girls it related to the show quite a lot! Things get really crazy when the girls have a sleepover at Spencer's and an argument gets out of hand. Alison disappears and they never hear from her again. Fast forward three years, and things have certainly changed. The remaining four girls don't even speak now. Aria's family moved away to Finland and just got back. Aria is used to hanging with older guys now and ends up wanting a relationship with her new teacher. This was very similar to the series which was great.Sara Shepard does a great job in the Pretty little liar book with making the mystery and shock same as the series. Also it reflects well with real life in high-school just a bit exaggerated.

It is exactly like the other 11 books.

Always surprising, always suspenseful, and no matter how annoying, the story becomes an obsession. WE NEED TO KNOW WHO A IS!

Cons:

Once again the biggest idiot award goes to...drum roll please...EMILY. As usual, she is the most naïve and infuriating character. She meets a new girl, Jordan, and it's all rainbows and butterflies and falling head first into a ridiculous mess of lies and stupidity.

***Spoiler free***

This was such a good read. If you've read the books up until now, then you know what to expect.

In this go around, there are a few High Schools that are going on an eco friendly cruise, and some of the things they do on the cruise will be used for class credit. Rosewood is one of the schools that goes, and where Rosewood goes, A is sure to follow.

Hanna-A good part of the story is focused on Hanna. Something she does early on in the book plays a key role on the plot. Something happens, and Hanna and the Pretty Little Liars thinks nobody saw it, but of course A did, and uses it as a weapon against the Pretty Little Liars. When she's on the cruise, she runs into someone from her past, and trusts her, but is that a mistake?

Spencer-She continues her friendship with Reefer, and someone besides A, sets their sights on Spencer and will do anything to take her out.

Aria-She starts us a friendship with someone, but at what cost? Then she's given something that will change her life.

Emily-Is getting very close to someone she met on the cruise, but this person has secrets that she has to keep to herself, at all costs.

With all of this going on, the Pretty Little Liars realize that A is on the ship and they try to find out who A is. The problem is that A is set to spill all of the Pretty Little Liars secrets at any given time. That's all I really want to say about the plot, anything more, and I'd be giving things away.

I was glad to see that The Jamaican Thing is still in play. We learn more about that, and some pretty hard choices that The Pretty Little Liars have to make.

This book sets up the next on in the series, Crushed, beautifully. Again, I can't say too much because it would be spoilers. Crushed comes out June 4, 2013. Now, that being said, on Jan. 2, 2013 comes out Pretty Little Liars:Pretty Little Secrets Book 2. This is a prequel to the series, and its' from Ali's point of view.

If you buy the book, and take off the dust jacket, you'll get a special message from A!

If you've read all the books, then you know what to expect, and won't be let down. Let's face it, this is A's world, and we just live in it.

In my opinion this is the worst novel of the series. It was boring, a filler, nothing really happened- the opposite of a pll novel. I think the books should had ended with WANTED and then the Ali's pretty little lies should have been the last book released. These books are becoming the same: the girls think they know who A is, and its not them and the audience already knows that. I thought burned was the last book, but now this is 2, possibly four, new books coming. Really, this series is trying to stretch too long.

These books are just getting dumb. Every person the girls come in contact with they believe is A. Oh and of course it never is. It is clear that books are only being written for profit at this point. The quality of the writing has slowly went dowm hill as well. I am not buying any more books. I will just read the synopsis online at this point. Please do not waste your time!!

This was a great read as with all of the PLL books. I was disappointed when I thought this would be the last book. I am so excited that there will be a 13 and maybe 14! But when will the Liars learn that the most obvious suspect is only a diversion set up by the real A? I won't say more about that for fear of divulging too much info. My money is on Noel Kahn. He makes sense as A and no one would ever suspect him. He has known the girls forever, is in Rosewood all the time, he was in Jamaica...Can't wait until 13 is released to see what happens next.

This was, by far, my least favorite book in the series. I ended up putting it down for months, completely forgetting about it and I just picked it up to finish it. What a waste of time. It is almost entirely filler with no real new information toward the main plot. I understand that this is a cash cow for the author, but wouldn't she rather end it on a good note instead of dragging it out with terrible and increasingly unbelievable plot lines that have zero value to the story as a whole?

It's getting old. The characters are becoming insufferable (especially Emily's whiny non-realistic fall-in-love-with-every-girl-that-looks-at-her attitude). It's predictable and follows the same "SO-AND-SO IS A (but not really)" formula as the other books. It's never the person they think it is, because this story has to continue on forever!

Not to mention, if you've read all the other books (which you probably have if you're are the far in) you have to wade through incessant amounts of backstory. We get it. We know the basic plot. I don't need to be reminded that "Ali who was the real Ali, not their Ali, who was actually not Ali, but Ali's twin who was in a mental hospital but switched places with Ali because I'm going for the record amount of times to say the word 'Ali; in one book, their Ali, real Ali, Ali Ali Ali Alialialialialiali;alhdg." It's just more repetitive filler. Maybe it's just me, but I like when authors assume I'm somewhat intelligent and can remember the main characters instead of literally spelling everything out for me.

At this point I'm reading it out of obligation. Perhaps I have outgrown this series, but I've invested time and money in twelve books. I like most of them. I just want to know who the stalker is and at this rate I don't know if i will live long enough to see it out that far. There are so many questions left and this book did not answer any of them. Will the next book take place on a plane? A train? Maybe in a cave? Will this story ever end?

I sincerely hope the next books are better, and bring an end to the story, but at this point I do not have high hopes.

Four best friends, Aria, Hannah, Spencer, and Emily all have quite a few secrets to cover up and "A" their stalker is blackmailing them into things they would never think of. Well they just happen to get stuck on a cruise out at sea with "A" and start piecing everything together. My favorite part about this sequel is it always surprised me and made me try to think ahead. I like that there was never a dull moment. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to do it to her! I was just so scared! We all were!" I would most definitely recommend this book to you.

Loved this book! Took me only a few days to finish it. Once I started I could not put it down! The series is wonderful and keeps you wondering what will happen next. I thought book 12 was going to be the end of the series, and finally, I will have some closure. This series has been with me for years, and I keep trying to rekindle the faith but this is insane. There's already Book 13 & 14 set to be published, which means there are at least another 4 books in this series. Shepard is really trying her fans' patience.

Harry Potter: 7 books
Hunger Games: 3
Twilight: 4

A series can only go on for so long before it outlasts its welcome.

I'm not going to follow this series anymore. She's just...trying to set a world record for longest running book series maybe?

I thought this was going to be the last book in the series so I approached it with some trepidation. I really wanted to discover who 'A' is but I also didn't want the series to end because I'm enjoying it so much. I needn't have worried as this book ends on a cliffhanger and I've noticed there's another book coming out called Crushed, which will be released in June. That probably means there will be another 4 books and that means we have to wait another 2 years to reach the conclusion!
I won't divulge too much information as I don't want to spoil the story for those who haven't read it yet. The action takes place away from Rosewood on a school trip to the Carribean. Another secret is revealed involving Hanna who has done something horrible to a girl called Madison and is afraid of it being exposed. Is it just me or does anyone else not feel sorry for the pretty little liars anymore?in the first 8 books, i genuinely felt sorry for them but since Jamaica, they've changed and become really nasty and selfish. What Spencer did to Kelsey was unforgivable and the same goes for Hanna's treatment of Madison in this book. I am totally on A's side now, let the stalking commence!

Also, how on earth could Emily get away with giving away a baby with no legal adoption? What did the midwife/Doctor say at Emily's post natal appointment? There is no way she could have just returned to her normal life after having a c section, that's a major operation, she would have had to visit the Doctor for follow up appointments and they would have wanted to check the baby's health.
Despite these discrepancies in the plot, I'm really loving these books and The Lying Game too. They are well written and full of suspense. I'm totally addicted and can't wait for the next book to come out! I'm a bit disappointed by the tv series, it is completely different to the books and just doesn't have the same edge although I think the actresses are all well cast. Does anyone agree?

There's another red herring involving 'A' whose identity as i said before does not get revealed, however there is a good twist at the end of the book.

The Pretty Little Liars series never fail to disappoint. Surprisingly Sara Shepard has kept up the suspense and amazing writing throughout the series. If you are just starting the series definitely start from the beginning or else you will be totally confused. The books keep you guessing though! Very well written books! A must read for me!

Burned is personally my favorite book out of the series so far. Everything seems to work out for the girls except A has a plan to try and make that crumble. But these girls are strong and I can't wait to read the next book. :)

I would have thought the book going continuously on with the same A problem it would get boring and too obvious, but it was quite the opposite. Burned had me completely shocked and ended with a serious jaw dropper. A very good read. Especially if you have followed the earlier books.

I understand this is a young adult novel...but this book was just ridiculous. I don't feel the plot moved forward at all...and every aspect of it was either a reach or a coincidence just to make a coincidence. Prior books in this series were way more believable and interesting...this one was just a miss.

I love all these books and the show. I have read all of them and I can't wait for Burned. I have read the first two Lying Game books and will soon be getting the other two and I can't wait to read them. Sara Shepard is a amazing author and I hope one day I can meet her in person.
