This is the ninth book to the Pretty Little Liars series. This book explains what had happened on their trip to Jamaica. They meet a girl named Tabitha who looks identical to Ali which makes the girls suspect that she is her. Tabitha lures the girls onto a cliff of the hotel they are staying at. Tabitha tries to push Hanna off, but Aria pushes her off first. When they go to the bottom of the cliff they notice her body isn't there anymore. Emily had a baby in the summer. ISAAC'S BABY. Aria is jealous of the new exchange student Klaudia who is staying at Noel's house. They are friends at first, but Aria sees Klaudia texts saying that she is trying to steal Noel from Aria. When they go on a skiing trip, Klaudia threatens Aria and tries to push her off the ski lift but aria pushes her back and she falls. Noel is mad at Aria for pushing her. Hanna's father is running for Senate and Hanna stars in his commercial. A photographer comes to Hanna wanting to take pictures of her, but his intentions are scandalous. The Photographer wants 10,000$ to not expose the photos to hurt her dad's campaign, so she steals the money from her father's safe. Spencer's mom has a fiancee, Spencer, and Mr. Pennythistle's son sleep in the same bed, but the father doesn't believe nothing happened until Spencer exposes Zach's secret that he is gay to get him to stop punching him. Tabitha's body is found

I started reading the Pretty Little Liars books a few months before the TV show aired on ABC Family, because I wanted to know if the show was still worth watching. Then, I kind of gave up on the books for a while because I finished the first eight and thought the series was done.... only to find out that there were like eight more. Plus some other books that were prequels and short stories. So of course I knew I had to read them.
It took me a little bit to get back into this book. Everything was pretty much wrapped up at the end of Wanted, so I didn't make any effort to really try to remember what happened. I forgot who was in what relationship and who had done what terrible things, so I felt like the beginning of this book chugged along really slowly. There's some flashbacks to things that happened before, but I feel like this book would have been better had I read it closer to when I read Wanted.
A lot of this book was ridiculous drama that was helped along by the anonymous "I know what you did" messages from A, but I felt like the girls were just creating their own problems without any help from A. Sure, the stuff from Jamaica was big, but Aria being jealous of Noel's exchange student is something that any normal high school girl would go through. Hanna didn't need A's coaxing to get herself into trouble with her dad's campaign. Spencer and Emily would also have gotten themselves into the same situations with or without A.
I didn't feel any of the danger from previous books or feel like the girls were getting some unjust punishment. Because really, there's not that much here for them to be punished for except bad decision making. A good slap in the face would have solved a lot of their problems, honestly.
Don't get me wrong though, I still enjoyed this book because I'm already invested in these characters. I've read eight books and watched 5 season of the TV show, and now I have to know who this new A is and if Ali is back or if she's gone for good and what's going to happen with the Liars next. It is a terrible cycle to be stuck in, but it could definitely be worse.
If you're looking for a contemporary series filled with drama, revenge, secrets, and lies, you should definitely pick up the Pretty Little Liars series. Although Twisted felt like an unnecessary continuation of the series, I'm still looking forward to picking up the next book and reading more of this series. A 3/5!

I would say "Twisted" was a bit unusual, but not in a bad way. I can tell the story has gotten complicated because Shepard spends a lot of time trying to make sure readers remember what happened in the EIGHT previous books. It's a long series, and keeps getting longer.
This new arc starts off a bit strange, with the series seemingly taking a new direction. I think I'm okay with that, and I do like that it's trying new things -- especially after it seems it was wrapped up for good after book 8. It seems Shepard still has some cards to play, but what we have here isn't that gripping. It's still pretty good, but I can feel my interest in the PLL books dropping. I can only hope things don't fizzle out.
Overall, it was a good book with some new (somewhat) interesting plot developments, but I'm sort of thrown back by how things are presented in this series, and this entry cements that mindset even more. Too convenient, too fictional, and too many dumb moments on the part of these girls.
In terms of what is next to come, I'd say I'm not as "sucked in" to the story as I was in past PLL books, but it still seems alright. I don't know if it will approach the crazy twists and turns as was the case at the end of the second story arc (the great "Wanted") but it's still a fun overall read, even if the series is dragging on.
As for the mystery? Yes, there were certainly new elements piled on here, but this series has gotten rather silly. I'm still a bit annoyed at how "A" can be everywhere he/she needs to be, at the right time. Sometimes it seems "A" is at the right spot, even if its in different cities in Pennsylvania. So that means not just is "A" stalking them outside Rosewood, but that the secrets happening to the other 3 girls aren't happening at the same time? Each conveniently doesn't over-lap another? How nice for "A"...
Okay, maybe that's a small gripe, or maybe it's not. Either way, it's one I've always had in this series. I don't think it's meant to be taken too seriously, so maybe I should let it be. Either way, I still (sort of) look forward to continuing forward in this story arc... but this series needs to wrap up. Most other reviewers wrote them when there was 9 or 10 books in tow. We're up to 15 as of this review, which is insane... and like many others, I'm slowly losing interest. "Twisted" was good, but didn't do anything ground-shattering to assure me that Shepard needed to continue this series. I still plan to read on, but I'm weary. 7/10

Okay, I can't exactly say I'm not enthralled the Pretty Little Liars series was expanded, but at the same time, I can't say I'm all that thrilled about it, either. This go-round of the Pretty Little Liars series is a lot different than the first eight books -- I can't exactly figure out why, but it seems really different. Like all the other Pretty Little Liars books, the ending is extremely thrilling and not exactly satisfying, and like all the other Pretty Little Liars books, the characters haven't exactly grown.
Spencer is still her straight-A, not-exactly-mature self who gets into trouble with guys and with school. Aria still gets torn up with jealousy in her romances, and seemingly hasn't learned anything. Hanna is still kind of a bitch -- except this time with naughty pictures. Emily is the one character, in my opinion, who's done some growth -- she faces real problems, and she shows a lot of compassion toward others. She's by far my favorite of the Liars.
I actually got kind or bored about halfway through, which is why it took so long for me to read the book -- three days (which is a LONG time for me). It wasn't as gripping as the other installments in the series have been in the past, but for some reason I squeal any time I think about A and my heart pounds hard when I think about how the next book, Ruthless, is out in a short two months.
I think the quality of the drama in the later books is increased, and Twisted is no exception at all. My favorite plotline in this book is Hanna's -- it's not exactly relatable (my dad isn't involved heavily in politics like Hanna's is), but it's very engrossing and I hated every time the chapter ended and I had to go through three more perspectives before I could get back to it. Even though Hanna is acting like she is on top of the world, her plotline was the most interesting.
Honestly, I can't freaking wait until the rest of the Pretty Little Liars books are out and I'll be able to read them. I'm going to hold my breath until then.

This is the 9th book in the Pretty Little Liars series. If you have not read this series before I recommend you start from the beginning, otherwise you will just get lost. You would think by now the story would get old and maybe even predictable, but no. I was surprised at just how much I enjoyed it. I had thought that the 8th book was the last one and that the story was finished and I was okay with that because I felt that it was ending on a good note. Now that I have read Twisted I am so glad that the author decided to write more. At this rate I don't think i will ever get tired of this series.
Although there was quite a bit of death in the previous books this one somehow feels a bit darker and I think it has to do with the girl's secrets this time around. Not all the secrets they are keeping are revealed yet but the ones that are will shock you. Honestly, by now you would think they would realize that keeping secrets is like cancer. The lies and paranoia cause them to spiral out of control. Obviously, they have not learned their lesson the first time around.
Aria was my favorite to read about in this book. The situation with the exchange student staying with her boyfriend's family is laced with juicy drama. Hannah endangers her father's campaign when some not so tasteful photos of her are taken. I felt how she handled things was pretty extreme. Spencer makes me want to roll my eyes. It always seems to be guys with her, and this time it is her future step-brother. Okay, so technically they aren't actually related but still it is a stretch. When will she learn (or for that matter when will any of them)? Emily is the hardest one to read about because she always comes across as pathetic and needy. Her dilemma is pretty serious though and it is only compounded by her personality. Maybe she comes off as pathetic because she feels so guilty.
In addition to their individual dramas there is a secret even bigger that they all share. Totally unexpected with lots of twists and turns. The storyline will keep you in a lot of suspense and wanting more. I'm sure that there will be more crazy plot twists in the books to come and I am anxious to find out how the girls handle things not to mention learn more about their secrets.
I received a copy of this book for review. Any opinions expressed are my own.

I have been a big fan of the Pretty Little Liars series ever since I read the first book way back when, but after the eighth book, I was left feeling a bit disappointed. Therefore, when I heard that Sara Shepard would be continuing the series with four new books, I have to admit that while I was excited (I mean, who wouldn't want new books in one of their favorite series?), I was also worried that the new books would follow the same path of the eight. However, Twisted did more than just live up to the previous books- it managed to be even better. It brought a series back to life with fabulous, twisted new plot lines, as well as some fabulous new characters.
Twisted opens up just as the four girls (Aria, Spencer, Hannah, and Emily) as well as Noel, Aria's boyfriend, and Mike, Hanna's boyfriend, are in Jamaica, enjoying some needed R&R after the Ali dilemma. However, everything changes after they spot someone eerily similar and commit an unforgivable sin. Fast forward to the middle of their senior year, and everything is once again awry. The girls are not talking and are quickly amassing new secrets and lies. Aria is worried about losing her boyfriend to the new and surprisingly hot Finland exchange student. Spencer feels an amazing connection with a new boy named Zach...too bad he may be her stepbrother sometime soon and hiding secrets of his own. Hannah's dealing with the stress that has come with her dad's senate campaign, but after a surprising new offer, she's left feeling better than ever before. Lastly, Emily is dealing with the secrets of past summer, which makes the fact that she's made a new friend to confide in all the better. Then A decides to make a reappearance, leaving the girls to come together once again, but what does A want this time? And worst of all, does she know what they did last spring- will she tell? Only time and more pages will tell in this addicting new addition to one of my favorite guilty pleasures.
One of my favorite aspects of the Pretty Little Liars series is the characters, and with Twisted, this managed to be the same. Emily, Spencer, Aria, and Hannah are not the most likable girls at time due to their silly decisions and naïve yet conniving personalities; however, they sure provide a fantastic and scandalous read with their POVs. There wasn't a moment where I couldn't be found on the edge of my seat, dying to know more about them and their new secrets and affairs, especially the one involving Jamaica. As mentioned above, there also was some great new character additions, such as Zach whose more than platonic relationship with Spencer is the definition of steamy, as well as Klaudia, Aria's new nightmare who is evil in more ways than one.
The plot in this was also great. If you thought Sara couldn't possibly have more twists and turns to expand on, well you're wrong, as Twisted introduced some great new storylines, filled with plenty of drama and scandal to have even the most reluctant reader reading well into the night. I especially love the way Sara always manages to release the secrets of the girls' slow yet intriguing way.
In addition, the ending was the definition of a cliff-hanger, and all I can say is: I'm so happy the new book is due out in December, because I don't think I could wait much longer.
Another fabulous and surprising addition, Twisted is sure to have fans of this series dying for more, more, and more!

If we thought A was out of the picture, we were sadly mistaken! Or gladly as the series continues!
A's have been found, but the questions remain - has the REAL A been found? Were the others murderous stalkers going under the identity of A so as to spread more mayhem in the Main Line town of Rosewood, PA:
Dramatis Personae:
Aria, my favorite PLL. She's a bright, attractive brunette who is athletic and assertive. Her boyfriend Noel, who has followed her like a beagle trailing someone with a meat treat in hand has a Finnish exchange student staying at his home. Klaudia, the student appears to be a good new friend for Aria, who is interested in Finland after having spent 3 years in Iceland. Aria totes a yak-fur bag from Iceland which she uses like a security blanket (you will probably get tired of that damn yak-fur bag in all the other PLL books as well), she's ready for some fun in Jamaica!
Spencer, the grind. She sputters more than a used fuse and is so determined to get into an Ivy League college, she is ready to crack. Having an overindulged older sister ready to sink her fangs and claws into her has not helped matters for her. To add to her turmoil, her socialite mother is involved with a new man named Nicholas Pennythistle (sounds like a Dickensian name) and he has two kids, Zach, 18 and Amelia, 14. It's a roller coaster ride with Zach who has some secrets of his own, but Amelia is a consistent thorn in everybody's collective sides.
Emily, who is bisexual and still trying to determine what she wants to do in life. A lifetime swimmer, she has decided to skip swimming for a year. Friends in unlikely places crop up and one of her secrets comes out that is a shocker - I admit I never saw THAT one coming! Emily is re-evaluating herself, her family, her orientation and her friendships when the siren song from Jamaica comes in.
Hanna, the one you can't help but feel sorry for. Her dad treats her like dirt; her stepmother is indifferent to her and her stepsister Kate is a conniving beyotch who will do anything to destroy Hanna. You just want to kick Hanna's dad in the shins as he puts her down to Kate and treats her like old dog food. Hanna's dad is running for senate and Hanna has been put in a bad position. The question is what will she do? And will she be an asset to the campaign and will anyone ever protect her from Kate? A trip to Jamaica to get away from them all sounds like a good idea to Hanna.
The non-fab 4 make their trip to Jamaica, all set to hit on guys and revel in the beach scene. A continues to send them mysterious text messages and e-mails from unknown computers and appears to know what their every move is. A is sinister and insidious and there is even another casualty involved. Do the PLL know anything about this? A is always watching them. It doesn't matter if they are in Rosewood or out of the United States altogether - A is watching!
I loved this book as I did all the books in the series. This one is a bumpy, rocky, roller coaster ride that takes you on twists and turns and down side paths you never knew were there. I love the series as the girls as well as their friends and others with whom they are in contact, e.g. classmates, neighbors have a dark side and a hidden agenda. None of the characters is perfect and it is a refreshing change of pace to have a cast of dark characters with equally dark secrets. (You will learn even MORE secrets about the girls in Pretty Little Liars: Pretty Little Secrets). Having a message from A on the jacket cover of the book will lure readers and once you get started, you will read until you reach that last page!

I love Pretty Little Liars (here by known as PLL). I actually started watching the tv show before I read started reading the books. Needless to say, when I found out that author Sara Shepard was writing a 9th book (and 10th, 11th, and 12th) I was curious and excited about what had been going on with the Liars a year after the end of book 8.
This is kind of a fantastic summary, because if you haven't read books 1-8, it still doesn't give anything away! You could theoretically start here with book 9 without having read the others, and feel mostly caught up. (Though I'd still recommend reading PLL 1-8, it's almost like reading a tabloid!)
What I liked: 1) I loved that it was one year after the mystery of A had been unraveled. 2) Our favorite Little Liars are at it again! Obviously the girls didn't learn from all the mistakes they'd made the year before when they were dealing with "A." That should be a bad thing, but it really just made me laugh. 3) There are more and more questions. That's really what has kept me hooked on the PLL storyline, that every time you turn around, there is another question that needs to be answered.
What I didn't like: It's hard to say. I knew what to expect, so I liked it all!
Overall thoughts: Like I said, I knew what I was getting into. Shallow, snobby, petty girls who don't learn their lessons and have a knack for getting themselves in serious trouble. But the PLL series is addicting, partially because of the characters, who are so unbelievable, yet so real at the same time. And partially because of the unending string of questions, twisting plot lines, and mysterious goingson. I know a lot of people were skeptical when Ms. Shepard decided to do a 4 book story arc that began the year after the whole "A" thing was over. But I'm glad she did! It's a quick and easy read that will keep you guessing through the whole book.

I, like most other fans, thought the series were over. We were shocked into disbelief at how the last book ended and thought it was the easiest and perfect way to end the series. But Miss Shepard had other ideas. She was plotting more ways to bring the Pretty Little Liars back to life, and she did just that.
Like every other of her books, it was a quick read. A very enjoyable read, that I sat down, open the book, and 30 minutes later was on page 100. I truly did like the book, it kept me guessing and when I thought I had it all figured it, she threw in another plot twist and had me right back to the drawing board.
The plot was solid throughout the whole book. It kept true to the other Pretty Little Liar books, where they get a message from the mysterious A and then they freak out and try to decipher it. Which they barely ever do! As always A messes up their life, and its quite freaky.
The synopsis is a bit over dramatic. The way they describe the book is a bit exaggerated. Of course it made me want to read it even more. To learn the latest scandal in the Liars life and why A is back.
I give this book a 39 out of 59 tacos. It was okay, but I think she should stopped the books with the last one. The story was really supposed to be over and it seemed like she was just keeping the story going. That in mind, I still enjoyed the book and I like seeing the girls back in action.

A few monthes ago I got this book called Twisted the 9th book in the Pretty Little Liars series. Although I had mixed feelings about this book I enjoyed it and the girls have more secrets than ever. Hannah is blackmailed by a conman and has to do something that she'll regret and catch up to her later. Aria is jealous of her boyfriends new blond exchange student. Spencer's mom is remarrying and is getting close to her stepbrother. Perhaps a little too close. Emily is trying to get a swimming scholarship and is friends with a girl named Chloe, but Chloes dad has the hots for her and makes inapprorpriate advances toward her. And Emily has another deep dark secret that we'll never expect. Worst of all something terrible happened in Jamacia and the girls once again has to take a secret to the grave. That is if A won't blab the secret for them. If you guys want to know what happened in Jamacia. Sorry you'll have to buy your own copy or get it from the library. Cause I can't ruin it for everyone. But I can tell you A is back. But who could it be? Could it be the real Ali DiLaurentis? Could she have survived the fire that she started trying to kill these poor girls? Or could it be someone from her family getting revenge? Or what if its someone we don't know thats more dark and sinister? I can't wait for the 10th book.

Oh my friends, A is back, and badder than before. It seems that out favorite Pretty Little Liars have been really busy since we've seen them last. It seems that they went to Jamaica for a bit of R and R, just to get away from what has happened to them. The sad news is that the PLL weren't all that innocent. They think that someone from their past has follow them to Jamaica and tried to mess with their minds. Something happened, and the PLL came back from Jamaica not speaking to each other, and promise what happened in Jamaica should stay in Jamaica. But secrets have a way of coming out, especially when "A" gets involved.
Spencer: A lot has happened to her. She has to get ready for college, and comes to grips with her mom's new boyfriend, and his family. That included a stepbrother, someone she might be getting a bit to close to.
Aria: Her boyfriend, Noel has a foregin exchange student that is now living with his family. Aria is jealous of the Klaudia, when she finds out Klaudia is a knockout. Does Aria have a reason to be jealous?
Emily: She's made the decision to skip a year of swimming, and now have to pay the price and work hard to get back to where she was. She gets some help from an unlikely source, but that brings problems that she never through she's have to deal with. Also, we learn something very shocking about her past. Honestly, I didn't see this one coming.
Hanna: Poor Hanna, she's still vein as ever and wants people to like her. She is still thinking with her heart and feelings, and not her head. If she was thinking with her head, she'd have saw something coming, and now isn't sure she can deal with it. With all of this going on, her father is running for the state senate, and Hanna has to deal with her feelings about her step family. The thing is that Hanna could either help her father out, or destroy him.
All of the PLL's have a lot to deal with. The problem is that they have to deal with the problems, and with a brand new A. This A knows what happened in Jamaica, and has no plans on letting our favorite PLL's off the hook.
This book has a lot going for it. It has the usual plot twists and turns, but it offers up so much more. We get to see the psychocicical results of the past 8 books. That was an interesting theme that Shepard put in this Twisted. I also liked how we get to see that the PLL's aren't all the innocent. As the reader, we get to see a darker side of them. It was a refreshing touch.
This is the part that I loved: we get a secret message from A!! When I read hardcover books, I take of the dust jacket, just to keep it nice and neat. I was surprised that when I took off the dust jacket, there was a message from A!! I won't say what it is, but when you buy it, take the cover off, and read the message, it's a doozy!
I can't say enough good things about Twisted. If you're read the other books, then you know what to expect. Buckle up and enjoy the ride!
The next book called, Ruthless, comes out December 6th, and I know I'll be at the bookstore bright and early to get my copy.

This was a great start to a reboot of the series. The begging was a little slow and hard to follow. After the first 100 pages the story really picked up pace and kept my attention. I really enjoyed reading this book. That cliffhanger was amazing. I can't wait to continue reading the rest of this series.

Aria appears to be really jealous of the exchange student Klaudia. Who is staying with Noel at his house.Apparently Klaudia likes Noel. And Noel is clue less. (Seriously, after reading this book I kept thinking why doesn't Aria just dump him.)
Hanna's dad is running for Senate and Hanna's on the verge of ruining everything. She does a photo shoot for some guy that just wants to take advantage of her. And to avoid that she has to go back to stealing, which ends up ruining someone's life. (not the only life she's ruined so far. )
Then there's Emily she finally gets a new friend and that friendship is ruined by her friend's dad, how sad. Poor Emily so confused she truly is a Pretty Little Liar keeping so many secrets should be bad for her health. ( Hope it's not genetic ;) because SPOILER ALERT Emily had a baby!!)
And Last but not least there's Spencer it appears she's found her perfect match too bad he's off-limits in more than one way. But she can't keep her hands off him as expected. Of course there are other things on her mind things that no perfect daughter would do.... ( What will mommy say!!!)
The Pretty Little Liars are back and this with
time with worse secrets that will leave you.
Hanging on to every horrible little lie......

I was so excited when I found out that Sara Shepard was adding 4 more books to the Pretty Little Liar series! I read the first 8 books within about 2 weeks! I couldn't put them down! If you loved the other books, you will love this one too! It's my favorite! I didn't think the books could get any better! I was wrong! There are so many new twists and turns! Lots of secrets that you would never expect! The book picks up about a year later. The girls went to Jamaica to try to put the past behind them and start fresh. Little did they know that trouble would be waiting for them there. Something horrible happens and they are left with another huge secret to take to the grave! Sara Shepard has such a fluidity to her writing and you will love how she reveals little bits and pieces from what happened in Jamaica instead of it all spilling out at once! The juicy secrets are revealed as the girls have flashbacks of what happened that dreadful evening in paradise! When they return from their trip, they aren't talking to eachother because seeing eachother is a constant reminder of what happened. Throughout the book they are all dealing with more secrets. Emily is trying to get a swim scholarship and gets tangled in quite a mess with her new friend's dad. She also has a major secret from summer. Spencer's mom is seeing a new man and Spencer has her eyes on his son! Even though they will be stepsiblings, it doesn't stop Spencer from crossing some lines. Hanna's dad is running for U.S. Senate and she gets discovered by a photographer. She finds herself being blackmailed and must take drastic measures to get out of trouble. Aria is still with Noel Kahn. When his family takes in a foreign exchange student, tensions rise. Will the new foreign exchange student come between Aria and Noel? Wait til you see what Aria does to make sure that doesn't happen! I would definitely recommend this book! I will probably read it again because there is so much packed into the book. I can't wait to read Ruthless!

In the beginning of this book, the girls are in Jamiaca on vacation. While relaxing, they notice a girl that reminds them of Ali, she has burn scars but her face looks different, but when she talks to them she seems to know their secrets. They do something unspeakable and the friends break up. Spence is no longer stealing her sister's boyfriend but she does have her eye on someone else she shouldnt. Aria is suspicious of Noel's foreign exchange student. Hanna is still trying to one-up Kate but things backfire. And Emily is making some new friends with ideas of their own. This book is great but it shows just how much Ali affected them and they are no longer innocent.

This was a wuick read and I'm glad I picked the series back up. It starts a year after Wanted, and the fire. This one is my favorite so far. Ali-Tabitha- was an awesome twist. I can't believe some of the things the girls did to get what they wanted. I'll definitely pick up the next book at some point. I recommend this book if anyone wants to stay with the series.

I was so excited about this series because I have read all the books and even some of the show (although I don't think the show is nearly as good as the books). After reading this book I'm DONE with this series and have sold ALL my PLL books from my bookshelf. It's a joke, lol (her books) the girls immortal obviously because she's not gonna die, EVER! I'm not going to say what happens to her in this book for people who have not read it but this series has become a joke and the author is writing more books which tells me she's still NOT going to die. I really hate it too because these were some of my FAVORITE books!

When you thought the secrets and lies couldn't get any juicier, Shepard continues to draw you in by dropping breadcrumbs of the Jamaica event until the very last page. It is definitely a "pick your mouth off the floor" moment. How will the girls get themselves out of this mess and escape the new threat hovering over them? I can't wait to find out; bring on Ruthless!

This book was literally the best of the series. I know everyone else has been saying that, but it's true. I've been looking forward to this book ever since it was announced. There are going to be three more books. The next one, Ruthless, is coming out in December and avaliable for pre-order. By looking at it, I thought it was going to be a repeat of the last time. There's a new big secret and the Liars have gotten themselves into trouble again. It's a year since the last book and girls are all seperated due to an unspeakable accident on spring break in Jamaica. A is back and as cunning as ever with new threats and tactics.
Spencer is getting a whole new family. Her mother has given up on her cheating father and has found a new man. The only problem is..Spencer has the hots for his son, Zach who also is hiding some secrets. Will Spencer continue on her quest fo love?
Hanna, our queen bee is on the quest for same again. But this time, the people are coming to her. After a political commercial, a photographer seems to have interest in making Hanna a model. She finally gets to be in spotlight instead of Kate, gaining back her status as Daddy's favorite. But not all that glitters is gold. Does the photgrapher have other intentions?
Emily, the innocent one becomes a little crazy. She hasn't swam for a while and potiential colleges lost interest in her. How far will Emily go to make her dreams come true? She also has some dirty little secrets that are rising up that she hasn't shared with us. Is Emily as innocent as we claim her to be? What is the horrible secret she's keeping?
Aria, Aria, Aria. After a year, she's still going out with her seventh grade crush, Noel Khan. She starts to get defensive when a new forienger called Klaudia comes from Iceland. She looks like she stepped out of Playboy magazine. She could get any boy that she wants, but she claims Noel as her own. She seems to have plan to throw Aria out of the picture. How far will Aria go to keep her relationship?
This book will leave you breathless and shocked as you turn each page. You'll be shocked to see what the Liars have been up to. And trust me, you won't be dissappointed.

By the time this book came out, I was pretty sick of pretty little liars. Yeah, okay, the plot was shocking and exciting in the first couple books, but now it seems to be almost repeating itself. This book was just so unnecessary; a ploy by the author to make more money. There was a perfect ending in "Wanted". The series was done, all the loose ends were tied up, the end. But nope, Sara Shepard had to go ahead and write one more. The writing and plot made a steep decline in this book, the perfect conclusion was ruined and I was just so over this series. Why was this book even published? Big mistake, Shepard. As Dr. Seuss would say, "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened."

To all DIE HARD Pretty Little Liars fans,
The wait is finally over. I'm back, new and improved. But this time I've got bigger and better things to do. It may seem everything is all happy-go-lucky, except for the whole Ali deal, but its not over 'till I say it is. The girls have new and more "Twisted" secrets this time, but their ONLY for YOU to figure out. The girls have gone their separate ways as Seniors at Rosewood Day, all because of one dirty little secret that stays only in Jamaica . I've got new people to bring into the madness, but they will go through nothing compared to what four Pretty Little Liars will go through.
How far will Emily go to get a scholarship? Will Summer secrets or twisted people keep her from losing another friend?
Hanna is already too familiar with the press, but will one photo cause her to become too EXPOSED to them?
Spencer may be getting too close to one of her soon-to-be siblings.
Will Aria's jealousy get the best of her relationship? Tietenkin!
Unfortunately for the girls, some secrets will wash ashore and land in the wrong hands. But don't think this is the end of my glory days, because i've still got more to lay on the table!
XOXO,
A

I can't believe they done killed someone. Yes that girl was freaky and knew too many of there secrets, but really it was in self defense. Poor Hanna she just won't listen to anyone, and she still looks for daddy's approval, even though he seems to love Kate more. I can't wait til the next book.

This novel was very entertaining as Sara Shepard brings back the 4 girls we all got to know in the beginning series. Before I saw this book, I really thought about reading Twisted because I thought the ending for Wanted was extremely well written to end a good story. However, since I had nothing to read, I decided to give the book a chance. And guess what?? I finished the novel in 2 days and got me soooo excited for the next book she will publish. If you enjoyed her other books, then I am sure you will definitely love Twisted. This book is more intense and more exciting- get ready for some more A notes and more deep, dark secrets. :)
I would really recommend this book!!

This book is really twisted! Hanna almost ruined her daddy's senate campaign. Spencer is snuggling up to her soon-to-be stepbrother.Aria is jealous of the new exchange student from Finland. Emily is trying to get a swim scholarship plus has another little secret in store. On top of all this, the girls did something really horrible in Jamaica , something that could make them felons! And A is about to spill it all to everyone they love. On top of this, the liars aren't even talking to each other! This book is really full of huge lies and twists and turns that will bring the liars together, but tear them away from everyone else.

All those loose ends you thought were tied up at the end of "Wanted" came unraveled with this book! I thought I knew what was going to happen, but by the end of the book I was unsure of EVERYTHING. Which is exactly what I expect from a Pretty Little Liars book.

this book was great, no doubt my favorite book from the series. I found it almost impossible to keep myself from skipping ahead a few lines to find out what was going to happen. I was hypnotized by this book. I love how Shepherd wrote it, pure genius. She never fails to turn the story 360 degrees to a new way of looking at what happened to Ali. I love how there isn't any dramatic irony, the reader is always as confused and stunned as Aria, Emily, Spencer, and Hanna.
I cannot wait for the next books, i will definitely be waiting for the 10th book in great desire for it.

Sara has done it, she has written a 9(soon 10) series book while not loosing her touch, Twisted was no exception. I assumed this book would be her just trying to add on to her series because of how popular it had become. But when really was just allowing us to enjoy Pretty Little Liars for longer. This book was amazing and had so many twists. I had to read the page containing Emily's secret about what happened over summer a couple times to really believe it. It was such a shock, but I can't believe I didn't see it coming! All and all this book was fabulous and I would recommend it to everyone!

I wish I had not bothered with this book. It was predictable and I found myself rolling my eyes. Ms. Shepard should have let the last book end the series. Just like in the first eight books, A is in 4 places at once. Funny how no one sees her lurking in a crowded room. I could go on for days about how annoying this book is, but I won't. My advice.. Pretend the story ended after book 8.

This book just went too far. It didn't make any sense. Sara Shepard herself said that the book before this was the last in the series, and it had the perfect ending for the series, but she decided to keep going. It's comparable to how Jersey Shore didn't need to have so many seasons. This book and any after it are just unneccesary to the series.

Best pll yet. the plot twists were unpredictable and shocking, and the secrets were dirty and kept on coming. One of the problems I've had with this series is the girls don't really come off as BAD just a little rebellious and very unlucky. But here, they really were bad little liars. New A has a great edge, and the whole tabitha thing was so suspencful! on3e of the best books I've ever read. Period.

this book has many secrets and lies like the others but differs because through the whole book your on your toes. i never expected anything that happened in jamaca and every little liar has a secret that will gnaw at you until you finish
. it only gets more interesting to know each gil a bit better. so hold on because this book will blow you away.
