The same puns are repeated through the whole book. The personalities of the guys are not very well defined... Shane, Reg, and Billy in particular blend together. The lead character is very flat and she doesn't evolve (I can't even remember her name even though I just finished the story!). The book is sex with a side of story, not story with a side of sex... not at all what I was expecting and it ultimately was a big disappointment to me. I doubt I'll remember this book tomorrow, and I doubt I'll buy another from this author.

The story does include a lot of original ideas, which is why I put up a second star. The editing isn't bad either!

I don't usually write negative reviews for books because I usually read books that I fall in love with and like sooo much. Unfortunately this book was not one of them. I don't know if this book was meant to feel like a spoof of the genre but it did. It was a little slow I find. The guys were really creepy, they manipulate her into being a relationship with them, the dialogue is corny. I also didn't like that the first time she has sex with two of the guys they go into straight dp which I thought was like whoa seeing as she didn't even like the guys very much. Unfortunately because of these reasons I didn't finish the book. It was just too out there for me.

The inner monologue in this first installment is hilarious with a capital H! Not very fond of the repeats “I’m a barista not a...” part though. Oh and I could never talk about plumbing issues without thinking of any sexual innuendos. Add on the snark on top of that makes for a good and quick read. Group pipe cleaning indeed. And let’s not forget the nicknames rolling off of everyone.

This book is definitely a fun fast and hot read if you’re looking for a light sexy comedic romance adventure. Definitely hard to put down and concentrate on anything else.

This was a mitigated disaster. I think there was a plot somewhere in there…it was just buried under bad character development and too-much sex. (Don’t get me wrong I knew it was a RH but this was very porny) I DID NOT like the heroine – AT ALL. She was a childish, whiney, border-line alcoholic who didn’t know how to act like an adult. I’m sorry she was not 18 but 30! Do not recommend. Will not read the next.

I loved everything about this book! The plumbing thing three me off, which is why it took me so long to start reading this series.... But I totally get it now?!!! Plumbing and RH go together like milk & cookies, or peanut butter and jelly lol. They just totally work together! As for the story, I really like that Ari, (Arizona), was completely clueless about her elemental genes and basically was thrown head first into it with her devastatingly hot and sexy husbands!
I am downloading the other 2 books right now! I can't wait to see how this story ends.

I was weirdly reluctant to read this book at first and I'm glad I read it anyways because I was hooked by about 10% into the book.

The plumber puns are hilarious. They toe the line between just enough and too much haha.

The book follows Arizona and her elemental harem. There is plenty of steam and sexy time in this book with some meatier plot thrown in as well. I am particularly intrigued as to how believable some of the plot is, of course we do not live in a world of paranormals however you can definitely feel out where some of the plot is going and the next logical steps while also being pleasantly surprised!

This book was so punny, I couldn't stop laughing. Tate James and C.M. Stunich make an amazing team. The main character is halarious and completely relatable
(She may also need to take an AA class or 20 but no judgement lol). Her husbands are hot and always ready to go if you know what I mean.

Seriously though it was steamy, funny, and totally unique. I can't wait to to get a leak of their next hijinks. I get all flushed just thinking about it.

I seriously couldn't get through this book. The writing was jumbled and confusing . I understand the fantasy element but the main character was so unlikeable and annoying I couldn't enjoy it. The plot sucks and is unrealistic. And the men made no sense. I just really hated it and that saddens me cause I try to give all authors a chance. And I never stop reading a book before I get to the end.

My love for this story grew stronger with each metaphorical page I turned. Sassiness is downright sexy and acceptance even more so. The only reason I gave a four instead of a five is because the main chracter has one repetative line that just irked me. Besides that it was a oerfect mix of bratty, sexy, strong and downright dirty. The authors also threw in one or two curveballs. The story kept me captivated and in the end left me wanting more, so much more.

Billy (swoon and soaked panties for him) dear lord he has my junk by the lips. George is my second favorite, I want him to crack and lose control. Overall everyone in the book has me wanting so much more.

Overall, that was a delightful, fun, laugh out loud read that definitely didn't take itself too seriously.
The only thing that bothered me was slight, and it's more of a pet peeve of mine than anything else. But, I dislike when a character is thrown into a situation that she , understandably, knows nothing about, but everyone around her is cryptic, or acts like she's just being obtuse for not knowing what's going on, without really giving any info, or hanging onto their secrets, then acting hurt and misunderstood. It was only a little bit, but I tend to be sensitive to it, and I'm always just a little like "really?" when that happens in any book.
But, as I said, very well written, definitely clever, and the sexy times... whooh!

Fun entertaining read. Loved the heroine...not so much her "husbands". I hate guys who have to trick a girl to get what they want without any consideration to the woman. I think it is weak and then to get butthurt because she is not lovey dovey after you lie, steal her life and keep secrects from her...yeah, not feeling much sympathy for them. Maybe if they finally grow a set of balls and be upfront and honest with her and tell the mother in law from hell off where the sun doesn't shine...maybe. "Mate with us or die" and letting random supps beat on their "soul-mate" - so not romantic

I forced myself to finish the book - it was beyond crude and not original. The heroine is a total jerk, idiot with infantile intellect and personality. Even the sex was extremely crude and not hot. Needless to say I really disliked this book.

I enjoyed the individual books of Tate James & C.M. Stunich thus far, then combine them together, resulting to the beginnings of a baby tomato. Which is beautiful, good, juicy, but, also, squirts. This book has loads of guffawing moments & plenty of plumber jokes, which at times it gets annoying. But a really entertaining read, can't wait for book 2!

Okay so I did like Elements of Mischief. Arizona was witty and oh so hilarious. I kind of went back and forth between liking the book and being on the fence. But despite that I stayed intrigued enough to finish. It ended on a cliffhanger of course and so I am stuck deciding if I am going to read the next book or not. All in all it was a good read.

This is absurd, and ridiculous, and all around goofy and hysterical. The plumber jokes, I mean really...the puns, and jokes and silliness is just over the top. Even down to plumbers butt.

This was a fun , sexy romp through magical plumbers and with a semi-alcoholic, snarky, and jaded heroine. If your in the mood for some fun, give it a try!

Cliff notes: would I recommend? No. Should you read it? Probably? Would I read the next one? Yes, though I’m going to have work at not wanting to chuck it out the window every other page.

In a nutshell, I think it’s a decent story, fairly well written (the best part of it) and has the potential to be a good series. So, give it a shot and cross your fingers that in the next one they avoid all of the things below.

Overall the story is pretty good. Some of the story is very crammed, I.e. happens quickly and makes little sense other than the author said “hey, this looks good here.” I also had a couple problems with the views of the character: 1. How is her dad sexist for having multiple wives yet it’s perfectly acceptable for her to have multiple husbands? Bit calling the kettle black. Also, why does it matter? 2. I would have liked to see more of a natural progression in their relationship(s). 3. Please stop repeating the following phrases: I’m just a barista not a . . . Or the non-stop plumber jokes/metaphors etc. had they have been less frequent they could have been enjoyable but it was so far overkill. 4. I also just don’t understand how as a college grad she is a (ex-)barista, and honestly comes across as having no drive for her life or career. I realize it was from taking care of her grandmother but more could have been done. 5. If her husbands don’t want her to work, and this book is aimed at being more progressive, then why the fudge is she not putting up a bigger fight??? And why is it such an issue to have a character who has that kind of relationship. Coming back to the slut shaming thing mentioned 1000 times, why are you relationship shaming?

Things I enjoyed:
1. The authors had a really good writing style and spelling. 2. The book overall was enjoyable. 3. I liked how the authors tried to be more progressive in their books (though at times overkill and also at the same time not being progressive at all - referencing issue 1 above). 4. For the most part I enjoyed the main character and the guys. Again, main character got annoying frequently but overall not bad.

**some spoilers**

I know the authors were going for funny and no sh#ts given sort of chick, but I think it got lost in translation somewhere. She drinks copious amounts of wine and alcohol, and not in a, "yeah, I can relate because I need a glass too!", sort of way. But in a, " Wow, she needs a sponsor and a 12 step program asap" way. Just constant drinking. It wasn't cute, relatable, or funny. It got old, fast. She made some pretty stupid and careless decisions, but I suppose you could blame her perpetual state of drunkenness on that.

The guys....so they're hot and know how to use their "pipes" (trust me, you'll read about 1,000 pun intended jokes. Ha. Ha. ?), but they are basically jobless, broke guys who can't offer anything besides apparently mind blowing sex. I wanted more description of what they look like, and their personalities to shine, but I can't remember much besides them liking to bang constantly, make sexual plumber jokes, and call her nicknames.

Btw, there is some m/m action in there, which I could've gone without. I think I recall reading another one of this authors books that included m/m, so I guess she's into that sort of thing. I'm sorry to say that it doesn't "do" it for me. Nothing against it in general, but it's a huge turn off for me, personally.

Negatives aside, the book did start to get more interesting as it neared the end. Almost felt like someone else took over writing the end, as it improved a lot. Based on that, I'll definitely be reading the next book, especially to see what happens with Max. I'm really hoping we get to see a good reunion in the next book!

I definitely enjoyed the different attitude of this book. Most authors, even in explicit romance, write conservative characters and sex scenes. That is so not this book. Yay! Our heroin is crude, brash, fun, and strong. Not a blushing virgin story. This is a wild read, hope the sequel hits soon. Some more like the first sex scene would be great?

This is not a book that takes itself seriously at all, that being said even with plumber puns and plenty of laughter throughout this book is hot, like sizzling hot.

Arizona has inherited a pretty run down mansion of a house from her Grandmother, calling in the plumbers, as you do in these situations, so that she can take a shower at least, she ends up in quite the pickle when the four hot guys who turn up at her door turn out to be elementals and she ends up in a bind, quite literally a marital bind with all four of them.

Arizona resists so hard while being completely drawn into the whole situation, I love this about her character, she’s very strong and her reaction is so natural and believable. The men, oh the men, I really did find them hot as, piercings, tattoos, turn into dragons, definitely my kind of men!

God, I love the way Stunich thinks I really do! This is my first experience with Tate James but as she evidently thinks just like Stunich I will be diving into her back catalogue shortly I promise you! I have such a thing for these reverse-harem books they are so much fun and seriously hot stuff, they really make the reading experience so much more interesting than a one on one story.

So, overall, a humorous, hot and sexy book with a great paranormal twist. Can’t wait for part two!

This book had me by the metaphorical balls from the get-go. I can't even begin to count the number of times C.M. had me in tears with laughter. I'm pretty sure I lost brain cells from lack of oxygen. And don't even get me started with the hot and heavy scenes. Suffice to say, I'm glad my daughter was at her dad's house when I read those cuz--WHEW! Steamy. I need the next book like I need my next breath...I mean, I've already lost enough brain cells from lack of oxygen as it is.

CM Stunich and Tate James together are a force to be reckoned with. This book had me laughing from the first chapter and all the way through.
I was unsure how they were going to pull off sexy plumbers (I’ve personally never seen one so I think they’re going extinct) but they describe the characters so well that you can see them in your minds eye.
