Lucy Lennox does it again!! This is the most hilariously sexy and loving book so far. Noah is a breath of fresh air with his Canadian charm. He brings out the best in Luke. And the little old ladies are crazier than ever and OPAH! Is the best thing ever. Read it, love it. It will jingle your bells!!

Wow, getting a chance at your crush... My goodness. There were some fun twists, some dramatic and frustrated moments that I wanted to shake some scene to both of them. The Marian's sure love a good challenge and help others find love. Lucy doesn't disappoint at all we get to re all the Marian family grow and grow. Can't wait to see who is next up for love.

I am always so happy went Lucy publishes another story. I know that I am going to laugh and cry and feel joyous and sad when I am getting to the end because I love these stories and never want them to end. If you are looking for a story to envelop you these are for you, they hook you from the start and don't let go. I always feel good when I am reading them.

Surprisingly the best parts of the story was when there weren't any Marian's involved. Don't get me wrong I adore most of the Marian's but I think Luke and Noah could of carried this story on their own. In fact the Marian moments were more of an interruption than anything. Overall the story between Noah and Luke was cute and enjoyable.

I absolutely devour anything that Lucy Lennox writes and from the very beginning of her Made Marian series, Borrowing Blue, I knew I had found a special author. With A Very Marian Christmas, Ms. Lennox brings the entire Marian clan back together including the hilarious as always Granny, Irene and Aunt Tilly! This one centers around life long friends, Noah and Luke. Luke was Noah's big brother's friend and Noah has had a secret crush on Luke forever. Luke is a busy busy lawyer who is wedded to his work and doesn't have time for relationships. When Noah decides to move from Canada to the big city of San Francisco, Luke offers him a place to stay. Noah is a shy guy and every one of the Marian's want to set him up with a nice man, so they begin a "bet" to see which member can get Noah a date and have him fall in love by Christmas. A few disastrous dates later, it is Granny's and Aunt Tilly's turn!

Noah
Granny leaned across the table with a big grin while I took a sip of my ice water. "Pitcher or catcher?" After a classic spit take, things got interesting. "I'd prefer not to....ah....say." I tucked my napkin into my lap and pretended to study the menu. Tilly narrowed her eyes at me. "You scream bottom, son."
*****
In order for Noah to make some money while he waits for his job as a nurse to begin, he takes an unusual sales job.
*****
In less than two short weeks, I'd gone from being a nobody nurse in a tiny town in Alberta to being a sex toy slinger in Gay Mecca, USA
*****
That makes for some hilarious scenes!
Luke, on the other hand, begins to see Noah differently from being his friends little brother. Noah is definitely not so little any more, he has filled out into a gorgeous young man. When their intense chemistry gets too much to ignore, it explodes into some very steamy scenes! Noah cannot believe that Luke wants him. Luke still doesn't do relationships, so breaks Noah's heart.
In the days leading up to Christmas, the reader is taken on a wild ride that leads up to a very boisterous holiday gathering of the Marian's and a sweet and romantic ending. 1-click to catch up on all of the Marian's and prepare to lose yourself for a few hours!

It was new, fun and sweet. Not necessarily a Marian member but sweet still. Noah a very sweet guy and Luke very sexy and also sweet guy but afraid of commitment. Love all the recaps of the Marians and all the new members joining the family.

Another great addition to Lucy's Marian series. All the usual cast of characters are back and a few new ones added to the list.
Although I think you could read this as a stand-alone novella, why would you want to? Get the entire Marian series and revel in the fun and sexiness!

Absolutely love this author! Her style of writing and development of characters is so fulfilling. I have come to expect a certain level of entertainment, endearing characters, and totally hot and steamy chemistry when I pick up one of her books. This book does not disappoint!!

I love the books Lucy Lennox writes. They are real, funny, sexy and emotional all in a very good way. I feel like I know the Marians and am a better person for knowing the. Each and every story has an underlying cultural significance and makes people see where they can affect changes in the world they know and live in. I own all the books and all the audios and and the West series promises to be just as excellent. I wish this series would never end. I can see stories for the grand-kids as they grow older and perhaps another couple of minor characters could have a book of their own. Say Josh or Keller and How about Uncle Henry perhaps a second time around for him or even better yet go back and tell his and Art's story. How they got together and their life at the vineyard. If you haven't read these stories start at the beginning Borrowing Blue their are seven full length novels and 2 or 3 short stories which are free if you sign up for the newsletter. Awesome series great last book although I would love it if there were more to come.

A visit back to San Francisco and the Marian family is the perfect Christmas present for myself.
Word-of-mouth introduced me to Lucy Lennox and I diligently bought each Made Marian audiobook when they were released and then, at the appropriate time, binged. 6 audiobooks in 7 days. I laughed, sniffled, chuckled, rolled my eyes, and was smitten with the men raised by Rebecca and Thomas Marian. The couple have love in abundance, whether these men are their sons by birth or by adoption.
How can you help but fall in love with a family who are so supportive of the young gay men in their lives? Who wouldn’t feel admiration for the couple who opened their home to teenagers rejected by their own families? What I hadn’t realized until this book is how many secondary characters (read: eligible men) were in these stories. Nico the tattoo artist got his happy ending with West in the book Facing West. They are safe and happy in Texas.
So what mischief can the Marians get into between Thanksgiving and Christmas?
Noah, introduced to them on his first day as a sex toy salesman, is about to find out. Except he is already in love with his older brother’s Scott’s best friend, Luke.
Luke is happy to give a spare bedroom to the younger Noah while the young man gets on his feet. The kid from Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada is now in San Francisco.
Culture shock, eh?
The chemistry is undeniable, but Luke is honourable and would never begin a relationship with the naïve younger brother of his best friend.
Have I mentioned Noah is the younger brother of Luke’s best friend? That’s breaking the ‘bro code, right? Plus, Noah has permanency written all over him and Luke doesn’t do that.
Except with 16 Marians (including the 7 grandchildren), how can a man maintain distance? The family is dedicated to setting Noah up with all these wonderful men, all of whom would be more suitable than the one he really wants to be with. Because Luke doesn’t do relationships, right?
Granny, Tilly, and Irene are up to their old tricks – discussing sex toys, sexual positions, and Grindr. Honestly, Noah doesn’t stand a chance, and in the end…well, it’s a Lucy Lennox romance with the Marian family, so a happily-ever-after is guaranteed.
There are also several tantalizing possible future books. So many men needing a happy ending…
Michael Pauley was, as always, perfect. Keeping all the Marians straight can be a challenge, but Pauley helps.
This book is certainly a stand-alone, but if you felt compelled to listen to the first 6 books for the first time or the fourth time, you will discover (or rediscover) why it’s easy to love a Marian. You will thank Lucy all over again.

Lucy Lennox has done it again with another fantastic story about my favorite family ever the Marian's!!!! I loved seeing all the couples and reading about where they are in their lives together. It was heartwarming to see them all happy and more in love than ever. We get introduced to a new couple Noah and Luke. Luke works with the oldest Marian Pete as a lawyer. Luke has known Noah forever...his best friend's little brother. He invites Noah to stay with him while he gets on his feet. Noah is a nurse but since he is from Canada he has to recertify to be able to practice again. While he waits he decides to take a sales job selling "gadgets" and that is how he meets the Marian's. What we get is a lot of Marian craziness as poor Noah gets set up with all these "dates", Luke fighting his feelings for Noah, and Noah figuring out what he truly wants. This was such a fantastic story and I loved every minute of it.
I can't wait to see what is next for this family and I highly recommend this story to everyone. I can't say enough good things about this book and it is one I am sure that I will reread over and over again. Well done!!!
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

I somehow managed to miss this latest installment in this series when it came out. Better late than never. I'm sure glad it caught my eye so I could devour it with my KU subscription. I loved it just as much as the first seven books in the series. If the author chooses to offer up more of the Marian clan and their friends, I'm in. Meanwhile, I just realized that there is a Wilde Series by this same author and my goal is to catch up with that bunch soon.

This is seriously the funniest of all the Christmas stories that I have read so far as Noah and Luke get mixed up in all the Marian high-jinks. You really don't want to miss out on all the beyond misadventures that Noah seems to get himself into. Super well done.
