A Descendants Novel (The Descendants) - The Isle of the Lost

Enjoyable, but a bit too one-dimensional in the portrayal of the villains. I expected something with a bit more depth, like the TV series "Once Upon a Time." Even so, it was fun, and the characters and concept were interesting.

Bought this for my daughter who is in 3rd grade. She loved the Descendants movie on Disney channel. Although she really wanted to read the book, I think it's a little hard for her. We haven't finished it yet. Probably great for 5th or 6th grade reading level.

You'll probably like this, especially if you've always wondered "What if they had kids?". Great for kids & teens especially, but adults may like it, too, especially if they still have a soft spot for Disney. =)

This is the first book my granddaughter called and was excited enough about to ask me to order for her. She started reading as soon as she got it and loved the book. I'm looking to she what follows this one.

The writing is very well laid out. You can picture what she is seeing. I was so engrossed in the book it only took 4 days to read. Wonderful look into the lives of the next generation of villains...but could have a chance of being able to do good. The track to find magic again was riveting. All the island is banished with no magic. Crazy thought for villains who rely on it. Only one thing AuroraDon, is a bit confusing cause it is ruled by king beast. Not by Aurora an Phillip. Can't wait to see what happens next in Disney's, movie The descendants!!!!

I love Descendants the movie but the way how they are friends being evil and how fast Ben and Mal felt in love so fast it was a blur. Now knowing the is sort of a past it just seems amazing. Can't wait to read the follow up.

I would definitely rate this with 5 stars. I personally love Disney Channel Fairy Tales?. It deserves a 5 star rating, because it was both thrilling and it brought back some memories of me watching Disney movies. I recommend it to EVERYONE. (Who can read.) Especially people who love Disney. I loved it and I hope you will to. It was worth every $9.99

Bought for My Daughter because the Movie was coming out and She was Excited about it. She Loved the Book just as Much as the Movie! I think that the only reason that She likes the Movie just as much is because of the Catchy Music.
