I loved Hailey and Matt's story. Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy can do no wrong with their hockey men. It was great to see a little of Wesmie and even more of Blake in this book. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that O'Connor's story is next!

I bought this on a whim yesterday when another author suggested it. I got through half of it last last night, yawned through church with a book hangover, itching to get back to it. I finished it this afternoon and I wish there was more!
I love this book. It's sexy fun.

These two authors together write the perfect unique stories!! Matt and Hailey so deserved to have some happy in their lives. I loved that there was no unnecessary drama we get a story of two people that were so made for each other!!

I can openly admit to being a little narrow-minded in my reads. It's easy to judge from the outside looking in. I knew that both the main characters were divorced before I started Stay and I admit to maybe rolling my eyes a wee bit. Was it going to be the she-bi+ch from hell ex? Maybe the cheating ex? Could it be the fell out of love ex? How about the jealous ex or the attention seeking ex? Yep, I’ve read them all before. Guess what? They were all of those things...kind of.
I ABSOLUTELY loved this story. Maybe, having two very talented authors working together is a good thing when they can make magic like this series. They have created real characters who face everyday problems in a realistic way. The pacing was perfect, the dialogue flowed beautifully and the settings were easily pictured. I just felt comfortable reading Stay.
For the first time in ages, I LOVED the heroine. I mean, for crikey sakes, they even had the heroine stuttering and stammering when she met her long-time crush. Bloody hell!! It’s been years since I actually felt that a heroine was portrayed that realistically. There aren’t too many people in real life who find it easy to talk to famous people. I get it! I really get it. There is no way I could hold a sensible conversation (without being a little intimidated) with the likes of David Gandy or my favourite authors. It was refreshing to meet a heroine, opposite a famous hero, who took a little while to get used to being with someone you admire…and maybe drooled over.
…and the hero? Call me crazy, but how cool is it that we meet a man who doesn’t immediately find hook-ups after ending a relationship. Again…refreshing!! Look, to be honest, I felt really bad for this guy. He was beating himself up about something that wasn’t necessarily solely his fault. He knew that his career can play havoc with relationships…BUT SO DOES SHE!! It’s not like she didn’t know that he would have to travel for work. There is no way she could have been in a relationship (for ANY length of time) and not know that it takes time and dedication to be at the top level. It’s not like he can only turn up for home games or not train and keep in top form. Sorry, his ex still makes me a little stabby (if you read Stay, you'll know why).
There’s just something special about Stay that can’t be described. Maybe it was because the main characters showed maturity, strength, courage and determination. ADMIRABLE! They weren’t stupid but they were capable of making silly mistakes. REAL! The characters found ways to communicate that were a little different but perfect to put the other at ease. SMART! They weren’t selfish and they had each other's backs when they needed it most. GENEROUS! All in all, they were just…comfortable…right…perfect, for each other. LOVING!
Stay is part of the WAGs series. I think it could easily be read as a standalone but would be more enhanced if you know the other characters and the world they live in. It was great to catch up with the gang and see the support they give each other.
I bloody LOVED Stay and I can’t wait for more in this series. I loved it so much it hit my Best-of-the-Best shelf.
I’m wondering if the man-whore extraordinaire is about to leap and spin with his new coach?

Absolutely loved this book. You can't help but to love Matt Ericsson. He and Hailey aka HoTtiE hit it off from the beginning. It's great reading as they both move past their own insecurities and doubts. Great book!

Hailey and Matt were so cute together. Every story has the climatic conflict scene and I'm so glad it did not drag out page after page like some stories from other (won't mention names) authors. This story was great!

This book was a little underwhelming. This series of books is becoming formulaic. Absolutely LOVED Him & Us. Blake's book was funny because he's so quirky but in this book he was over the top. In this book Matt is hot and fairly likeable. Hailey is a bumbling silly girl. This book had a ton of editing errors which was really disappointing! You would think with two authors and an editor the mistakes would have been easily found like I found them. In one hockey game scene its mentioned they are playing one team and then the next paragraph it mistakenly refers to the opposing team as someone else. In one sex scene it says Matt takes his shirt off and by the end of the scene he's commenting they forgot to take their shirts off.!!?? There are a few more also. Little details like that irk me and take away from the book. Just 3 stars for me. An easily forgettable read.

Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy are back melting the ice with their latest release Stay, a hockey sports romance. This book is sizzling hot and keeps the rabid hockey romance fans glued to the game. Opening one of their hockey novels literally turns every single reader into a puck bunny looking to score a whole lot of love from their favorite player.
Matt Eriksson is more than a sensational hockey player, he's the complete package. Recently divorced and suddenly single should be a dream come true but for Matt it's like swimming in a bottomless pit. He's trying to manage his demanding career while making quality time with his young twin daughters. Dealing with his ex wife is anything but pleasant. In fact it's worst than facing off with his opponent. Another ruthless player is a piece of cake, he can beat them down and come out on top. His ex wife holds all the cards where his daughters are concerned. His grueling schedule leaves little time for himself let alone his precious children. Forget dating, it's off the table. He can handle his ex's insane demands and insults but he cannot handle her threats of taking his time away from his children. To obliviate some of the pressure he has hired Fetch to handle his homelife needs so he can focus on his children. This service handles all his shopping needs, pet care needs, and other chores he just doesn't have time for. The added bonus is his anonymous, personable handler, Hailey Taylor Emery, aka HTE (hottie),anticipates his every need and jumps through hoops to meet them. When the company he hired to take care of his dog while he's away drops the puck she steps in to take care of his dog. He'd be up a creek without a paddle without Hailey. He's also very curious about who she really is and what she looks like. He decides to check her out on his home security feed app while he's away. She is indeed like her name, a hottee. He wants to get to know her on a personal level. A woman has finally sparked his interest after surviving the shark infested waters known as his ex wife.
Hailey has recently gone through a divorce. Although her divorce was relatively easy and she's still business partners with her ex husband, she's still reeling from the hurt. Her ex husband was her childhood friend and only man she has ever been with. Dating a client is the biggest no no in her career and could ruin her business. The only problem is that it's Matt Eriksson, the hottest player on the ice. He's also one of the nicest men she's ever met. Should she throw caution to the wind and take a chance on Matt? Her heart says yes and her mind isn't far behind.
Matt and Hailey are perfect for each other. Their relationship is everything they both wanted and needed. The problem is their personal lives aren't only theirs. They both have issues with their ex's and their relationship could cost them everything they hold dear. How do you deal with the past, manage the present, and move forward towards the future? They will have to figure it out and STAY true to their hearts.
I absolutely loved this book. Sarina and Elle know how to create endearing characters with an engaging story that goes beyond the run of the mill romance novel. I fall in love every time I open one of their books.

Great story about second chances, forgiveness and finding a treasure you weren't even aware you were looking for. Can't wait for the next book. I have a feeling it's gonna be Will's turn at love and redemption.

My goodness! This is the cutest romantic story ever. Sarina and Elle bring it every single time. Stay is the second book of the WAGs series and I am addicted already!
Hailey co-owns a company called Fetch with her ex-husband. Fetch is a successful business catering to the clients’ every need at top speed any time or place. Hailey has been texting and crushing on one of her clients, a hockey star for nearly a year -- they never really met face to face. One day Matt needs someone to walk his dog and Hailey was there for the rescue. Matt has been watching her though security cameras and he was intrigued by the beautiful physique of the blonde who seems to adore his little dog. Matt decides he wants to meet the dog-walker in person and he wants her for more than what her job entails.
I absolutely adore Matt and Hailey. They both came off a recent divorce – his was a little more painful. Neither are looking to jump into another serious relationship. Matt and Hailey have amazing chemistry and they cannot keep their hands off each other long. I like the fact that they did not jump into bed right away. Matt actually asked Hailey out on a proper date and wooed her. I love the heroine – she is smart, driven, hard-working, understanding = not clingy or needy. She is passionate about hockey but not the groupie type – she just has a cute innocent crush on him. Matt is a hockey star… sexy and successful but he is also just a regular guy who is super caring and sweet. It melted my heart the way he adores his little princess. I enjoyed the endearing and hilarious banters between these two. The chemistry is sizzling and the sex scenes are pretty hot. Both have been out of practice for a while after their divorces but it didn’t take long before they burned up the sheets. The part where Matt was trying to role play in the bedroom was hilarious – I was dying laughing so hard. Total genius there ladies!
Overall, this book was so much fun to read – sweet, sexy, light-hearted, romantic – exactly what I was looking for -- a feel- good weekend read. Devoured in one sitting - this is a standalone but you really don’t want to miss out on the first book Good Boy either (Blake’s story). I cannot wait for what Sarina and Elle come up with next.
