I read the Vincent Brothers first so I already knew the story between Beau and Ash. I loved the story between Sawyer and Lana so I wasn't sure how I would react to this story. The love that reignited between Beau and Ash from their childhood was romantic, but I just had trouble with the way they went about it. Having said that, I still love me some YA novels and overall this one had all the ingredients to a good book - angst, desire, first loves and a HEA. I would definitely recommend.

The Vincent Boys was an excellent read. I read it straight and couldn't put it down. I felt Vincent Boys was more mature then her other book Breathe, which I think is why I like it more. It's hard to find books that deal with real issues and have teenagers acting like teenagers in young adult books. Beau came across as very hot and alpha type of H that's hard not to fall for him well reading the book. I would actually like there to be a squeal or maybe Sawyer getting his own book. Overall I am happy with my purchase and would recommend reading this book.

First off, Abbi Glines is amazing.

Secondly, ok, let's be real.

About half way through this book, I contemplated putting it down. Not that the story wasn't good, but because I was so emotional about it and I didn't see a way for anyone, not anyone, to have a happy ending. I was saying to myself, "Abbi, how dare you! You hook me and then break my heart!!"
But of course, Abbi knows how to finagle a story. The way she brings all things in, all people, all walks of life makes for a beautiful story. Though it may hurt me to read it all, it was beautiful nonetheless.

Anybody who knows me at this point knows I'm not a fan of love triangles. And this was the worst kind for me to read, where she just flat went and cheated behind his back. For some reason it doesn't sit well with me when I read about it. I'm not terribly fond of Ash because anyone who has the mentality of "I'm gonna do what I want to do because I've got to follow my heart and I don't care who's hurt in the process" grates me.

BUT! :)

She's real. She's human, she's just like thirty girls I knew in high school. She's just spent so long trying to please everyone but herself, trying to figure out how to make everything work in harmony, trying to be who everyone wants her to be, and for the love of all please her parents, that in the end she had no other choice but to rebel and blow up. It's one of those lessons learned.

I'm so glad that I finished it and got to see how Abbi finished things up in a way that satisfied everyone as much as they could be. Sawyer was SOOO sweet in the end for someone who'd been betrayed that way. And Beau, gosh, you can't help but feel for him no matter the things he did before Ash. But I loved his protectiveness, even when she wasn't his. I love it when a guy is possessive in a sweet way. It was so real to me, it was like watching a movie.

So thank you, Abbi. We all make mistakes, some extremely costly and stupid, some that hurt everyone involved and some that only hurt ourselves, but in the end the point is to learn from them and don't judge a book or person by its cover (no pun intended b\c the cover is gorgeous) and above all, you can't live your life with regret and hate. You just can't.

5 solid, cry my eyes out, gripping my kindle with frustration, awesome stars from me.

Three childhood friends. Two become a couple and the other is left out. Circumstances bring the best friend and the girlfriend together and hidden feeling surface. There is a twist you may not see coming. This is a good story but a little cliche. Preacher's daughter dates high school quarterback but falls fir town bad boy. If you want a nice story this is your tale.

I really wanted to like this book from the beginning, but it was somewhat predictable and not very believable. Ashton, Sawyer and Beau were believable characters until the Beau and Ashton spent more time together. As their friendship grew into a "romance" it was hard to see why they liked eachother more than just friends. I felt like the story needed more conflict outside of the love triangle.

It was good for a quick read, but I would not read it again.

I loved loved this book! Mainly because I love Beau! As the town bad boy he has a really bad rap and with his family history he is just looked down upon. Unfortunately his cousin is the town golden boy, oh and he is dating the love of Beau's life. Sawyer aka golden boy leaves on a family vacation leaving Beau in Ash's hands to watch. Well Ash watches Beau a little too closely. All in all y'all will love this book! I basically would read toilet paper if that's what Abbi writes on! I love this Author!

Loved going down memory land with all the highschool drama and young love. I loved how Abbi developed the connection between Beau & Ashton. It was slow and gradual entanglement, but felt as if that connection had been there forever!
Personally, i didn't want her with Sawyer and i really didn't like him towards the end. He did semi-redeem himself but there is work there for me. Especially since he is the star of book 2.
Very light fun read.

Well, I just finished reading this book for the second time through ...one of many times to come I'm sure. I absolutely loved this book. It's light and a quick read, yet the characters are fully defined. There's conflict without dragging it out on and on and there's resolution without a lot of misunderstandings. You know the kind where you're just yelling at the characters to come to their senses? There's just enough going on where you're hooked on the story, can picture every scene vividly and fall completely in love with Beau. As I read through the story this time, I found myself still laughing, crying, falling in love and hoping things turned out "right" - and I already KNEW what was going to happen. Just a fantastic read!

I absolutely love Abbi Glines and these books have been on my TBR list for ages so I bought both in series and went for it.

So I read this until I finished it at 1.30am and LOVED this.

I really felt for Sawyer, I think he is really sweet.

In the end you have to be with the person who makes your heart thump so I was happy with the outcome and glad that Ashton made a decision and was honest :)

Loved this

This book.....it.....I..... It is beyond words, it was that good. I couldn't put it down it took me about 1 night to read, I couldn't put it down. It was intense and is the type of book that has you sitting on the edge of your seat think "how will they get out of this one?" When I Ash first got into the situation with the 2 boys I was sitting on the edge of the seat thinking 'NOOO don't leave them ash!!!!!'
To be honest I didn't want to read it at first it looked like a book that wasn't going to be even remotely interesting but I was wrong, way wrong.
Abbi Glines is an amazing author and having read all her books I have to admit that this was by far the best one yet. I'd recomend it to anyone and if you're thinking about not getting it because of the price or for any other reason forget it, just buy the book, like I said it's worth it.
I give this book 5/5 stars only because that is the limit of stars. Like I said it was A-MAY-ZANG and I'm now heading off to read it again...... and again...... aaaand again......

What can I say? This book was AMAZING! The problems going on, and Ashton's wanting something she supposedly shouldn't. When she cried, I cried; when she smiled, I smiled. The emotions in this book were done perfectly.
Abbi Glines has written, yet, another amazing book, and I can't wait for the sequel!!
If you haven't read this book yet or any of her other books, you're completely missing out and should go read them now!

Being from Alabama myself I have throughly enjoyed this southern based series. It took me right back to high school and made me relive all my wonderful southern saturday night memories. I just can not get enough of Beau and Ashton's love. I have already read this book twice and have told everyone I know about this series. I did like the second book as well but I just can not get enough of Beau and Ashton. Abbi Glines did a wonderful job with this series as well as all her other books. BRAVO!

"The Vincent Boys" is a great summer read. Cliché, but in the way of a soap opera where everything turns out ok in the end. I enjoyed the story; however, I almost put down my kindle several times due to the numerous grammatical errors.
Authors should be allowed to take some liberties with grammar and spelling when creating a character's voice, and I generally support that. The errors in this book went WAY beyond creative license, and seemed to get worse as the book went on. Missing commas and sentence fragments made for slightly confusing reading, and the mis-use of "too" "to" "they're" and "there" was just distracting.
Bottom line, it was worth the price, and I would like to read more about the characters. i just don't know if I can deal with another editing tragedy.

I finished within hours and immediately purchased and started to read the 1st chapter of the next book before I went bed. Let me just say that the book was free and I didn't think twice about purchasing the next regardless of price. The chemistry between Beau and Ashton was AMAZING...it just took me back to my old highschool days. I am definitely looking forward to reading more books from this author.

This is absolutely one of my most favorite books. I am a huge fan of Abbi Glines and I love all her books, and The Vincent Boys is one of those books that just consumes you. I love the story, the characters, everything about it. That being said I am going to have to go all fan-girl here and tell you that Beau Vincent is absolutely to die for. He is the epitome of hottness, complete sex on a stick, and totally redefines the term yummy. He is my ultimate book boyfriend, and it is a good thing that he is fictional, otherwise I would probably embarrass myself or possibly get arrested. That being said, the description of Beau Vincent alone should make you want to rush out and get this book.

The whole book is filled with heartfelt passion and emotion. It is packed with romantic chemistry from the first chapter until the end of the book. Though Beau is a "bad boy," he is the best kind - the kind you love to love. I love all the southern charm in the book, and if you're from the south, you know all about pickup trucks, bench seats, and straddling the gearshift to sit next to your guy. The Vincent Boys, Beau and Sawyer, are cousins, and Ashton is the girl they both love. The three of them grew up together and were inseparable until Ashton and Sawyer started dating. A turn in events brings Ashton and Beau together, and she realizes that she has chosen the wrong Vincent boy. The fire and love between Ashton and Beau is undeniable, yet Ashton doesn't want to hurt Sawyer, and neither does Beau. Sawyer has been there for him his whole life, when no one else has. Now Beau is faced with choosing between family and love. Ash loves Sawyer, but she is in love with Beau. She can't bear the thought of tearing the two of them apart, and She is willing to sacrifice her desires to keep that from happening. They all learn that the things they thought they had known all of their lives regarding love, family, and each other are not what they seem, and they all have really hard choices to face in light of this.

Abbi does an outstanding job bringing everything together in this book. The drama, and the romance and the chemistry between the characters (and oh does Abbi Glines know how to deliver in this area), all leave you feeling like you have not only just read a great book, but like you have experienced it.

Abbi Glines books never come short of being amazing. The Vincent Boys is another amazing story she has created. A true love triangle that keeps you hit aching cause you have to have more. I feel bad for Sawyer, but one can tell Best and Ashton are meant to be. They have the most innocent, hot electricity between them. Can't wait to read the next one.

** spoiler alert ** I absolutely loved this book! Everything was perfect, the length, the pace, the characters, the emotions ALL of it!

I must say in my eyes from chapter 1 Sawyer never had a chance.

Sawyer loves Ashton, and she loves him. Saywer, Ashton, and Beau grew up together. They were all close. Ashton and Sawyers cousin Beau were partners in crime and Sawyer was always bailing them out. One year Sawyer the town golden boy ask Ashton out without any regards to Beau.

Once Sawyer and Ashton get together she chances. She stops talking to Beau now the town bad boy, and she is perfect preacher daughter. She is popular and everyone likes her because she is dating mr. perfect. Everyone except Nicole Beau's girlfriend. Beau years later, drinks a lot and hangs out with slutty Nicole his on and off girlfriend.

It all changes when Sawyer goes out of town with his family for the summer. Ashton picks up Beau and his drunk girlfriend and drives them home. They start talking and hanging out, and Ashton can't help but fall in love with him (and lose her virginity to him) He loves the real her. The one that was his partner in crime. And Ashton wants to be carefree and less perfect.

I LOVE this book! I don't want to give to much way but this is a must read and a bomb is dropped durning the end making this book even more juicy!

I had trouble pronouncing the word Beau But after I saw the book trailer I understood that I've pronounced it wrong.... But I guess that's the charm with books trying to pronounce things right and imagine what the author has painted up:)
I don't regret reading this book although i don't think i will read the sequel if I'm going to be honest..
But I'm glad I read it, although I don't understand what the cover has to do with the book!?!

But I enjoyed the plot and I really think it's a good book to read in the summer:)

Oh my...Where to start. This book is incredible. I read it twice in the same month. The characters are amazing and so real. I love how Ash tries to be the good/perfect girl, so many people try and pretend to be something they are not. It is refreshing to watch her decide to be herself even though she knows that it will disappoint the people around her. Sometimes you just gotta do stuff for yourself. The book its self is well written and HOT! Beau is by far my favorite Vincient BOY! Love you ABBI!

I loved this story. I completely enjoyed the struggle between the characters. This is one of those romance novels that I love to read. Romantic, not erotic! Not that I'm against steamy love scenes, I just feel like a voyer sometimes!

This was the first book I have read from the author and found her style heart warming and intriguing. I genuinly fell in love with Beau and Ashton! Sawyer on the other hand, I took issue with his personality, but I think that's how it was intended! I loved the refernce of not being judgmental towards people because we don't know the turmoil they have lived through in thier life!

I would have LOVED to give this one 5 stars BUT I rated this 4 stars only because there were some typographical errors - that sometimes confused the story until I re-read it! I'm not sure if this is an error in the translation to kindle or what. There aren't a TON but enough to notice the trend.

I was a little hesitant to actually read this book after checking out the reviews. I didn't know how well I would like a book about cheating. I'm so glad that I gave it a try without casting it aside. It's worth the read, even if you aren't sure it sounds like it's for you at least give it a go...you just might be surprised. I know I was!

Enjoyed this book lots! Beau was an easy character to LOVE. A little rough around the edges, but a stellar heart. I was a bit peeved with Ash's character at first. A bit unrealistic for me that she was in a non-physical relationship with Sawyer, changed her personality, yet thought there was nothing wrong with that for years? Really? However, grew to like her over the course of the book once she realizes how stupid she's been. If you want a quick, HEA read, this is a good one! And check out The Vincent Brothers too! You'll get to enjoy moments with these characters again!

I just recently finished reading this book and I really can honestly say I enjoyed it. I'm usually very critical with this genre of books by the way. I really enjoyed "The Summer I Turned Pretty" Trilogy books and I felt this book in particular was very similar to those. I always love a book that has alternating narrators and in this book you have the two said Vincent Boys; Sawyer and Beau along with the girl, Ashton narrating. For me personally, it helps me connect with all the characters feelings thoroughly so I can appreciate the book even more so. Even though Ashton tends to annoy me with her stupid, foolish actions in the beginning-middle part of the book, she really grows on me. This is a great read for anyone who enjoys reading about love triangles and true young love in general. However, I will warn you that there are some parts in this book that are a little r-rated, I would suggest this for kids 15+

I normally don't like high school love stories but this one is different. It's young and fresh and hot but not childish. I loved all the characters and felt bad for the guys cause there really wasn't a bad guy. I'm excited for the next book so we can see Sawyer finally find happiness....or at least I assume he will.

The Vincent Boys caught my attention with it's cute cover... I thought it might be something to read over the next few days to get my mind off of my missing dog.
I couldn't have been more wrong. I was captivated by the end of the first paragraph. I loved it and when I found out that it takes place in Alabama- my state- I was even more interested. By the end of the first chapter I was head over heels in love with Beau and his sexy nature. Ashton just seemed the kind of girl you would want to be. Everything just seemed so real- I could feel what she felt. When she was nervous, I was and when she was angry or hurt, so was I. It caught me off guard and now I'm reccomending it to all my friends- no. I am making them read it. It is an amazing book for teens and young adults and anyone else who loves a good love story. Definitely will be reading this over and over.

I purchased this book because I needed something to read to pass time throughout my trip. After I read the description I honestly didn't think I would like it because of all the lies and cheating involved in throughout the book. But after reading it I can honestly say that I really enjoyed reading the book. I really enjoyed reading about the love and passion between Ashton and Beau, although I did feel bad for Sawyer because he really didn't deserve how everything came along. I loved the characters; they were fun and demonstrated strong personalities. I Definitely Recommend reading this book, once I started reading it I was hooked and could not put it down!

Ash falls in love with her childhood friends - both of them and this story is about following her heart and sacrificing for happiness. It unfolds the heartache during their senior year and takes the reader with them on their Southern adventure. Don't expect a smutty trash novel (even though they are fun too). This is a youthful romance with all the headaches and heartaches we hope to remembers long past graduation.

Buy it and find out who ends up together and renew your memories of young love along the way.

I bought the Vincent Brothers because of a suggestion on this site. I forgot about it for a few months and went to buy it again and realized I had it. Let me tell you, a major oversight on my part. How I did not immediately start this book is beyond me and I was thrilled to see a sequel was on it's way! This book is the ultimate get comfortable, get a cup of tea and don't plan on putting it down until it's done kind of book! I read it in one sitting and was absolutely thrilled with the results. I don't like spoilers so I will only give you this...if you haven't picked it up do it and do it now! With the sequel is out you have no reason not to...seriously why are you still reading this? GO BUY IT AND HAPPY READING! :D

It's always been Ashton and Sawyer. Beau, Sawyer's cousin, is a tough guy with no problem attracting females. He's always been a jerk to Ashton but during this fateful summer Ashton and Beau are drawn together. Their attraction is steamy! Confessions are made, mysteries revealed, and a beautiful romance blossoms.

The Vincent Boys stole my heart! This book is just fabulous. I couldn't get enough of it and didn't want it to end. I didn't expect the twist and turns and never thought it would have the ending that it did. The ending couldn't have turned out more perfect. Loved the characters and the realness that they felt and how they dealt with the issues. LOVED IT and will definitely read it again.

You can probably see that I REALLY loved this book. As a "grown up" I love to think back to my high school days and how intense "feelings" were back than, this book brings all that back to life. I also enjoyed Ashtons inner struggle that most of have gone through. Are we true to ourselves or do we do what people expect us to do. Great read! I'm one for bad boys...Beau was my choice :)

I love the characters. The storyline was mostly realistic- not too much cheese. The main female character moved a little too quickly in change. It would've been nice to see her not change quite so quickly. Nevertheless, it left me wanting to read book 2, which is my definition of a good book.

This book will have you wanting more. More Ash. More Sawyer, and most definitely More Beau Vincent. Lucky Ash, what girl wouldn't love to have guys fighting over her. Ash that's who! Torn between Mr. Right and Mr. Right Now all Ash is concerned about is keeping the relationship that she's not involved in intact. Moral of this story: be true to you and the rest will follow! Just like the sequel of this book.

P.S. Abbi Glines+ the hot guys she writes about= Excellent Reads:-)

Enjoyable read. I loved it..except for the end. All this build up and then it was over. It is an adorable little romance book. Beau was an easy character to love. I Definitely Recommend reading this book, once I started reading it I was hooked and could not put it down!

This series was actually that last of the books written by Abbi that I read. I got the feeling from the story summary that it was a little to YA for me. I was in the mood for a little more of a light-hearted read and let me tell you this series defiantly surprised me and was wonderful. I loved the angst that the characters experienced. I would highly recommend.

The Vincent Boys both love Ash, their childhood best friend. Ash choose one Vincent boy but did she the right one. This story is heart warming and intense. So many choices to make, so many struggles deal with. You will be on the edge of your seat not able to put the book down.
