This great Dumas book is grossly ill served here by Maplewood/Mapleleaf publishing. It is filled throughout with typographical and other errors that should have been properly checked and corrected prior to publication, and which obviously were not. the store/Kindle should not be selling this book in this condition at all! Because of the errors throughout, the enjoyment of reading this story dwindles with each page. The publishers (Maplewood/Mapleleaf) obviously did NO proofing of this large novel at all. Do they think that readers of classic novels are so stupid that typos go unnoticed? Do NOT buy this version! It is a waste of money!!!!

I enjoyed this book and found it gripping, playing on my emotions of despair, hope, and love. Dumas shows how revenge can result in devastating consequences. I think it is an appropriate book for young adults and older. I see how it has inspired so many films and dramatic works. There are many vital characters which make this story so rich.
