Payback Is A Bitch (The Kurtherian Endgame Book 1)

The story continues to engage and amuse. Nicely complete story, yet successfully makes me want to know what happens next. Some series lose their oomph after a few books. This one is just as powerful, if not more, 20+ books later.

Like all things with BA giving birth is an exciting event! But defending High Tortuga is just as significant and having Michael finally at her side is both relief and fascinating. I am so glad that the KG has finally reached this point and look forward to all that lies ahead. Even the idea of a convention in Vegas whether I would be able to attend or not. I appreciate all the info provided in the front of this book to refresh my memory and put me in the right head space for this journey. My favorite expanded space opera and truly wish I could see an accurate movie made some day soon! Not that I would quit reading! My ebook addiction will not be quenched or thwarted in any way! Always a fan!

From a pregnant Bethany Ann to building a new world on the planet formally known as Devon, the New adventures of Bethany Ann with the resently returned Michael is a non stop exciting journey. With most of the old friends from the previous Bethany Ann series, it's just as fun and exciting to read about as ever. The dialog had me laughing out loud and the action kept me glued to my seat. Looking forward to the next addition to this series. Highly recommend reading the first series, the Kurtherian Gambit, first for maximum enjoyment. But if you want to start with this one or it's been awhile since reading the first KG series, there are plenty of hints that manage not to pull the story down. And as always, the author's notes are the icing on the cake!

I am completely blown away again!! I couldn't put this book down even if I wanted to. MA has managed to trap me in this universe once again. I'm going to go do a re-read now and hopefully be able to sleep sometime tonight. The surprises just keep coming!! If you haven't read the previous books to this please go back to #1 Death Becomes Her and start from there. You will not be disappointed.

Great beginning book to a truly awesome series and imaginative Universe. Copiously splattered with expletives. Only problem I found with this series, was the Authors references to past and present POTUS(plural); and which one he brought with him. Would have really preferred he kept the partisan politics out of my fantasy time.
