The Firm

I am filling out my collection of John Grisham books by picking up the 4 or 5 early ones I do not have. His style of writing is exceptional, and turns out one page turner after another. I have finished this one and have two more ordered. Can't wait. Thanks the store, for supplying all the titles I am looking for.

Grisham is a fantastic storyteller. This is an oldy but goodie. It was an audio book, perfect for a long drive. I knew the story, but he still held me spellbound. I wanted to keep driving and keep the reader talking.

After watching the TV show, I had higher expectations from this novel. I understand the TV show defines events that would've occurred after the completion of the events of the novel but still disappointed.

I'm a huge Grisham fan and perhaps that leads to my disappointment as I expected better.

I recently started reading John Grisham's novels. I can't get enough of his writing. I believe that he is one of the most talented authors of all time. I want to own all of his works. I would recommend his work to all who enjoy a good thriller without the foul language that so much of the new novels have.

This is the book that made Grisham a #1 bestseller, and that is fitting because it is first rate. With outstanding suspense and entertainment, Grisham delivers a novel that is worth reading more than once.

Very complex story but as always very straightforward to read. Always makes me wonder what must go on inside John Grishams head! It must be a unique place filled with strange twists and turns. As always..great.

Well put together, good story line with believable characters. So good I read it a second time after 20 years. All this is redundant because all you have to do is read who the author is. John Grisham never fails to deliver a GREAT story.

I thouroughly enjoyed this book. The action never lags, and the characters are well-described. Very often in real life you see people who seem very respectable and they turn out to have not-so-nice connections.

SPOILER ALERT! Much more detail than the movie! Only thing I didn't like is that Mitch is a cheater! He should've been able to resist, even if it was too late (incriminating photos already taken)! It seems he and Abby only have each others really, and it's pretty sad be 1) cheated! 2) never told her! 3) lied straight to her face at the end! Overall, a good read though.

The Firm has a bit of a predictable beginning, but then has unexpected twists and turns where we find our hero really does have a clever way out of his seemingly impossible predicament. - a page turner for sure.

Not the ending I was expecting, but definitely an awesome read by Grisham! Very similar to the Racketeer, which was also a great one! I wish I had a little more closure on the ending, but will trust that all is well with what Grisham left us with!

Loved it. I read the 'Last Juror' by Grisham about a month ago and finished it in one night. I couldn't wait to get my hands on another one of his books. No matter who I asked, about which Grisham book to read next, 'The Firm', was always the suggestion. Needless to say it exceeded my expectations.
