Some over the top moments. Parts of the book reminded me of This Man by Jodi Ellen Malpas,. Probably just my imagination but there were some similarities. I skimmed and scanned some parts. Not my favorite Raine Miller book.

Your readers have missed you terribly. I loved this book as I have loved everything you've ever written. You write with such honesty and vulnerability that it's easy to believe your characters. Can't wait for February 2017!

A Cinderella story with a twist . The story y flowed and was enjoyable to read but rather bland .It had potential to be so much more!
I felt that the relationship between stepmother , father could have been further developed to enhance story .
It also would have been interesting to have had the gangster in laws involved in story line to add suspense and intrigue .

Rich, powerful, and pure alpha. Caleb Blackstone gets what he wants. And he wants her as soon as he sees her. Brooke Casterley is still recovering from her last relationship and is not ready for another one. Caleb is willing to wait for her if she is willing to give him a chance. Will they heal each other?

Raine Miller’s latest tome is sure to be a hit with Caleb Blackstone leading the romance. He is the perfect hero: sweet, patient, and ready to please. And having unlimited resources at his disposal doesn’t hurt either. Brooke is a strong woman and not intimidated by Caleb. With two strong characters, readers are in for a treat!

I truly enjoyed this book and couldn’t put in down until I finished it. Nothing like a sexy romance to make by weekend! Five stars!

SPOILER ALTER - I have read Raine Miller from her first release, I just want to make that statement first to show that I am a fan.

Filthy Rich was good but because of Miller's choice of the book's name, most importanly, the name of the Series, and the promotions on social media, it is all very much misleading. I will explain following my review.

Filthy Rich in my opinion is not a reference to money but to sugar sweet, rich as in a decadent dessert. Follow the love story of Caleb and Brooke, Caleb from a wealthy family in the Boston area, and an English girl, transplanted in the U.S. Through tragidy. Yes, that's about it. It is very predictable. I was very distracted in the beginning trying to figure out the connection between Caleb Blackstone and our forever ultimate book boyfriend, Ethan. There is none. Now on to my previous comment...I must get this out of my system!

I read a lot, I am very loyal to the Author's I "choose" to follow. So when I "feel" duped, I feel very strongly about the character of the Author. Raine Miller has proved time and time again that she is a brilliant writer, no one can dispute that statement.

So, why did Miller feel the need to write a brand new series and use the name "Blackstone"? I am truly puzzled by this. There are absolutely no connection other than Brooke is British. I trolled Facebook asking this question when I started reading...how does this connect to Ethan? This is Raine Miller and it is named Blackstone...no one was saying a word.

In the end, my question was, what was the motivation, ideas behind writing another Blackstone series? To guarantee sales? I am sad. The real Blackstone Series (Ethan's); has sat dead in the water for years. Neil and Cherry Girl's book 2 was to be released in 2014; My Lord is in the reading list on Miller's website (this is the book 2 to Priceless) but has yet to be released. This reader has lost interest and is sadly walking away from this Author.

The characters were OK, but no true depth to them. I was just left bored about 2/3 through book and found myself skipping parts to hopefully find some "drama" of some type/any type. It had too many skipped details for the book to carry much depth.

Big disappointment from author previously one of my favorites. Very weak and not very likable main characters in addition to a humdrum story line added up to a waste of money & my time. The book seemed to be a "fast filler" - an effort to appease many disappointed fans eagerly awaiting "My Lord" and her other promised sequels. At first told the interminable delay due to family issues, then revealed to be "legal issues". Someone dropped the ball where her loyal fans were concerned.

What a story! These characters are complicated and full of life. Despite everything that has happen to them in the past they are working towards making their future better, together! Everything about him is great, except maybe his past relationship choice but I loved that he fell head over hills for her and let her set the pace of the relationship. I loved that they were honest with each other throughout the book.

Filthy Rich is book one in Raine Miller's Blackstone Dynasty series and it's a doozy! Caleb Blackstone gets what he wants and he wants Brooke!

Caleb meets Brooke at a boring high-society function. They share some witty banter and Caleb is done for. Done for like dinner!

Brooke is English and now living in Boston with her Nan after she's had some surgery. Working as a designer, she's struggling to make ends meet. She works a second job as a server for catering functions. She meets Caleb and their connection is palatable! She has no idea who he is or what his claim to fame is. When she can't get their meet-cute from the party out of her mind, she struggles to explain it.

Caleb is a billionaire walking in his father's footsteps after his death. All glam, success and even paparazzi are his norm. When he meets Brooke, the axis in his world tilts and none of that means a cotton-picking thing! He must see her again! He also is having a hard time figuring out his immediate and sure-fire feelings for a girl he just met! There is no logical rhyme or reason for it! She doesn't run in his circles so maybe that's the allure?? He doesn't know. He knows he is like a puppy with a bone and needs to connect with her as if his life depended on it.

When Caleb infiltrates Brookes life, she's hesitant. She has man-issues from the past. But she can't resist Caleb and his oh so gentlemanly ways! She ends up craving what Caleb brings and simply can not say NO! As the two forge ahead with their affair, ugly secrets and past mistakes creep out. Can they withstand the drama the paparazzi dream up?

I absolutely treasured this book! I adored Caleb and his ways-so very respectful. And it wasn't an act! He was raised very well and gave people the respect they deserved. He put Brooke on a pedestal and never veered from his thoughts on her. This was a sure-fire case of love at first site and Raine Miller did a phenomenal job in making us feel that. Brooke was such a kind soul, troubled only because of her past, she radiated goodness. She always viewed herself as from the wrong side of the tracks, so she had a hard time accepting Caleb's advances towards her. He never viewed her in that light and he continually thwarted her negative thoughts. Caleb was just a plain nice, good guy. Gosh anyone would be so lucky to have that. He broke down her defenses little by little so that left nothing that she couldn't agree with.

I loved this entire story! I am so looking forward to book two! I am sure we will be treated to updates on the entire Blackstone's of Boston family!

• Caleb Blackstone •
His life is great. He's filthy rich. He loves his job. He loves uncomplicated one-night stands. Nothing is missing from his perfect bachelor-life.
Until he sees her. Brooke Casterley. He's instantly fascinated. She's beautiful, strong, smart, funny, sad...
He knew the moment he met her that she'll be the future Mrs. Blacktone.
But of course it's not as easy as that.
Brooke's been hurt pretty badly in her past relationship. Both emotionally and physically. She doesn't really trust that Caleb is as great as he appears.
And then there's the fact that Brooke's and Caleb's lives are connected in a small way.
Brooke grew up on Blackstone Island. As the granddaughter of the lady who ran the Blackstone family household.
But Caleb hasn't been on the Island for years, and after his dad died recently, his mom wants to sell the house. The house that meant so much to his dad and him.
Caleb doesn't want to seem too stalkerish. That's why he hires Brooke to redesign his Boston apartment.
And of course all of her 'stay-strong' promises fly right out this million-dollar-view-window once she's in that apartment with him.

What will happen with Brooke & Caleb?
Will there be a HEA?

Amazing Story! I loved it from the prologue all the way through to the end.
The whole Boston and Blackstone Island atmosphere is so beautifully comfortable somehow. I just loved everything about the story without even including the main characters.
I loved Brooke's place of work - her co-worker: super-gay Eduardo. Adorably hilarious. The ferry-ride into Boston and the talks with Herman.
Caleb's brother Lucas. Caleb's best friend James and his sister - who is Caleb's PA - who will get her own story with Lucas one day. ☺ Same with Caleb's buddie James and Caleb's sister Winter.

If this were a movie, I would say they had the most perfect casting director, script-writer and location-scout!

And now to Brooke and Caleb. Perfect. The perfect match.
They just belong together. And we just want to fast-forward to their Happy End. But of course it's not as easy as that.
I loved how 'I-will-never-get-serious-with-one-girl' bachelor Caleb is so insta in love with Brooke. Totally adorable.
And Brooke. She's just as charmed. But of course she wants things to go slow, she has to be careful. She doesn't want to get hurt again.

Some problems are still left to overcome for the new couple - like sad pasts, family and exes, the paparazzi et cetera....but keep on reading...they'll get there. ☺

I especially love the end of the book! Can't wait for more in this great new series!!!

►►► FILTHY RICH was such a beautiful and adorable love story. Run to your nearest the store to find out how Brooke & Caleb will fight for their HEA!!!

If I had to name some things I didn't like. Hm...maybe only Caleb's mega insta-love. Usually it's the guys who have to be convinced that they're in love, but here it's the other way around. And all this insta-loving makes Caleb appear a tiny little bit mushy. Too soft. He doesn't come across as this mega, dominant, alpha male. Also the way he always asks her: Do you really like it? So unsure and unsexy :/ BUT - doesn't mean that he's all super-soft and ewww. I still loved him!!!

And then the writing. I didn't like some parts of it. Maybe Raine was trying too hard to make Brooke british. Sometimes it worked and sometimes really not. Also, there were way too many I AMs and YOU AREs. I hate that. It's totally okay to use it to underline what someone says, but just to make someone appear more british or no idea what... Please use I'M and YOU'RE - it totally breaks up my reading flow☺!!!
