Richard Paul Evans does not dissapoint with this new book! It is a fast read and hard to put down just like the first one! I loved the characters, various storylines going on that kept you guessing and unable to put the book or Kindle down! Yay for Michael Vey #2, hoping #3 comes out soon!

Richard Paul Evans shocked me with the first Michael Vey book, unfortunately he took the passion away when he left the ending of this book as a loose end. I wanted the story to end but alas, I have no choice but to buy the 3rd book... why richard? why?

The excitement, drama, and imaginative story is a fun read, even for an older person like myself but I really prefer to have one book come to some kind of conclusion before creating the scenario that will frame the next book. I hate waiting for the next book to come out to find out how this book ends. Anticipating that the next book will "end" the same way I probably won't bother to read it.
Michael Vey 7: The Final Spark :: Michael Vey 3: Battle of the Ampere :: The Eye of Minds (The Mortality Doctrine - Book One) :: Michael Vey 6: Fall of Hades :: Michael Vey 5: Storm of Lightning

I can't believe that I enjoyed reading these books which are aimed at teens, but I can't wait for the follow ups. It is such a joy to find a series of books for teens that (1) does not contain smut and (2) is so exciting. Way to go Richard Paul Evans.

Kindle download for my wife, she's reading it right now, can't give much of a review at this time, but she seems to enjoy it. We have both read other Richard Paul Evans books, and enjoyed them thoroughly this book should give us the same result, I'm confident of that.

Quickly shipped and great condition. Thanks for rounding out my set! I had the first and third, but the second was one I just got from the library, so getting such a good deal from you was greatly appreciated.

Even though this book is written with the younger reader in mind, this 56 year old Grandma really enjoyed it. The whole rat sequence was a bit disconcerting, but played well as a metaphor of evil. Richard Paul Evans does an amazing job portraying youth triumphing over life's obstacles.

I really enjoyed this book. it gives you action and will keep you reading until you finally finish. it does seem a bit ridiculous at times but with this kinda of book you have to expect that. It is better than the first book honestly and I'm definitely going to read the next book in this series.

The original Michael Veh was recommended by a friend and I really loved it as well as this sequel. It is written for a younger audience but I m a Sr. Citizen and I really enjoyed the whole concept of "special" powers! Can't wait for the next one!

This should be required reading for all children in the 11 - 15 yr old age group. It's a very easy read with a lot of moral values all children growing up should learn. As with the first in this series I had to read it cover to cover. At the end I was left knowing I would have to wait a year before I could get the next edition Book 3). This is a story that will surely be turned into a movie sometime in the future.

Great story line and a great book! Full of suspense and some close ones but not so scary that a teenager and even a preteen can handle. Richard Paul Evans is brilliant! Bring out part two soon please.

The uniqueness of each character, the plot development, the humaness shown by these characters in MichaelVey, Elgin Rising is invigorating, and gives me hope that the skill and genius of the written word, and its power to convey thoughts, and pictures in our minds is alive and well. A good sequence story is evolving here and I look forward with anticipation to a next writing.

My middle school age son, the reluctant reader, plowed through it in record time. I read it and really liked it. The author added interesting twists and character traits that I haven't seen in other youth fiction!

Bought this as a present as our two grandkids that live with us have the first book and wanted this one. They are both reading it a lot slower to make it last and are looking forward to the next installment.

I picked this book for my summer reading assignment. I read the first book, "Michael Vey Prisoner of Cell 25" and thought it was very good. I was so interested in the first book so I couldn't wait to start reading this book. I was not disappointed. It was just as good if not better then the first. This book was very fun and exciting to read and I didn't want it to end. Now I can't wait to read the 3rd book. I recommend this book to anyone who likes science fiction or learning a few facts about almost anything.
