Iron Wolves MC 3, Kellen's Tempting Mate

Yea, Kellen and Laikyn’s story was truly interesting, to say the least. Elle not only brought the Iron Wolves together with the Mystic Wolves bringing the Fey into play here, she also introduced us to some half-breeds and pure Vampires. It was fast paced and original and we were constantly wondering exactly what would happen next.

So, this is what I learned about Kellen Styles … he’s dominant, he’s sexy, he’s loving and caring, he’s more than what we believe him to be. And, when his pack and woman are threatened, there is nothing that he won’t do or become to keep them all safe.

From the prior Iron Wolves books, I thought we would see a different Laikyn. She always seemed so strong and capable. She stood up to everyone and was her own woman. Well, we find out why she left the pack, why she went to Kansas City and just what and who it will take to get her back into the fold. I seriously thought she would have put up more of a fight and it would have taken a little bit more convincing on Kellen’s part, to get Laikyn to understand that they were mates. But, I guess the pull of the mating made it much easier for Kellen to win the battle. But, it would have been so much fun to see him grovel and plead his case.

Kellen’s Tempting Mate wasn’t exactly what I was expecting … it was more. It was fun watching Kellen truly fall and Laikyn catching him. It was interesting that Laikyn is submissive, a brat, but loving everything that Kellen is offering. And, as usual, Elle Boon gave us a wonderful read. And, she has me wondering just where she is going to take Damien and Lucas and Jennaveve. But, I have a feeling that we are going to see the blow up between Syn and Bohdi before we get into the vampire and fey realms.

We are back with yet another amazingly yummy instalment from Elle Boon's Iron Wolves, this is the book I have been waiting for after seeing the characters love and lust from afar I was overjoyed that finally its there turn..... and o mama you are in for one saucy delicious and tempting rides..... and not just that we have Vampires and Fey thrown in too the mix as well and a cross over with Elle other wolves........ squeals amazing amazing.

Laikyn O’Neil has been in love with Kellen for years. Thinking that she could to prove her love to him, she set out on a mission to learn how she could be the perfect submissive, only to find herself needing a saviour.

When Kellen Styles turns up at the club and does a double take as he finds Laikyn there.....its the last place he would have ever expected to find her, of course he swiftly rides in to her rescue, but then doesn’t stop his dominant needs from taking over.

Sure that he has moved way too soon, he gives in and backs off to give Laikyn the time to come to terms with the fact that they are mates. Instead she ups leaves him, thinking that he just doesn't want her.

Kellen is knows he will claim his tempting mate... he has to... he will earn her forgiveness, and nothing and no one will stand in his way as he goes about getting her back.

When their comfortable world as they know it is suddenly rocked off its axis by vampires, fey and well more, the whole pack will have to unite as one with not just themselves but with these strangers in order to bring down and defeat the very beings that threaten themselves there lives and those they love the most.

What will happen with Kellen and Laikyn?

Omg this book is superb I truly do not know how the author does it but wow she blew me away with her witty writing her cross over between her books and all the different species she used...... Miss Boon certainly spiced it up and then some.

And the characters...... o the characters we have Laikyn the super smart witty Doctor she ran before from everything her friends her family and well... Kellen she just didn’t know how to handle things. But now she is back and has matured smartened up and opened her eyes to more, she knows Kellan is her mate but will she have the guts to reach for what she wants?

Kellen is the Alpha he is super sexy and knows he let the best thing in his life get away from him, so he seizes the opportunity when he hears that Laikyn is in need of help.... yes he still wants to tan her hide..... but she is his and he will prove that. See he is a good man yes he had a major brain fart when he let his mate go but he learnt his lesson and he will not make that same mistake ever again.

Not only are the main characters just brilliant but we also have past characters that pop in through out the book and we have new ones like the Vamp twins and omg...... I so have a major crush on these two.... fingers crossed we don’t have to wait long for their book assuming they will have one as I know I will lose my heart all over again just as I have with Kellen.

Kellen's tempting Mate wasn’t what I expected it to be … it was a whole lot more and then some I loved how we got to see how Laikyn and Kellen fall in love it was more Kellen falling and well Laikyn catching him as if it was always meant to be.

A truly magnificent read.

Sexy and intelligent doctor running from an unwanted ménage and a sexalicious alpha wolf who wants her but thinks she may just be too good for him.

Kellen likes his woman submissive and pliant, everything Laikyn isn't! She's an independent doctor and she ram from him after he took her virginity. But when she returns home and lets him know about some unwanted advances by her partners in her former practice, he promptly returns them to the city to dismember the males! But once the misread signals are sorted out there is still a malignant force hunting her.

With hybrid wolf-vampires, Fae and others all coming out to greet our Iron Wolves, this story is jam packed! I loved meeting Jenna and her absolute non-fear of the big bad alpha was hilarious! Lake is superb as the longed for mate of Kellen. Kellen just about melts the page with the intensity of the passion between him and his naughty subbie. One of my favourite scenes was a spectacularly hot road trip with Kellen and Laik!

Like me the rest of the characters what far too much Big Bang Theory LOL.

Well crafted, with engaging characters and a plot which doesn't get samey. Can't ask for much more really. Roll on the next instalment!

Loved it even though Kellen could be a butt. Plenty of wild sex. And a couple of surprises.

Just when you think you know where Ms Boon is going with her Iron Wolves MC and she gives you a twist that you never expected. There are still kick-ass wolves and the mating drive is definitely in this story but so are some very dominant vampires. I sure didn’t expect to see them in this story. However, they only enhance it and add a unique twist. The main characters, Laikyn and Kellen are very independent and opinionated which makes for explosive encounters. This is a fast paced paranormal erotic romance that ended way too quickly. I finished this story wanting more and can’t wait until the next story comes out. I wonder what new twist Ms Boon will bring into this series.

Laikyn not only left the Iron Wolves MC but the town she grew up in after Kellen showed that he wasn’t interested in mating with her. There was no way she was hanging around if he didn’t want her. She’d make her own life. Kellen let her go knowing she needed time to understand that she is his mate. He knows she’ll be back when she’s ready. The problem is, Laikyn doesn’t know Kellen is waiting.

No words can truly describe the words written in Kellen's tempting mate. I was given this glorious book in exchange for an honest review and honestly it's out of this world.. But there is one big problem I do t like... And its waiting for the next book lol their all really that good.
Laikyn is a beautiful tall red headed Doctor. She has always had eyes for Kellen the alpha of their wolf pack. Problems are that he likes women a lot and is sex on two legs. Women literally throw themselves at him. Add in that he runs from her all the time , always pushing her away. Hurt pain sadness and sorrow is what she sees and feels when she sees him. So she left and got into a practice with two huge sexy guys who happen to want her. Sad she doesn't want them she wants what she can't have..or can she? Trouble and danger is brewing...what is to happen..
Kellen is a hot strong sexy alpha male who gets what he wants and take whatever he wants.. Only he wants lake like no other but she's always running away from him.. I really loved this book and i really love Kellen!!!!

Full of action and hot hot hot hot hot sex scenes this book left me thrilled.

Kellen and Laikyn were amazing and i loved their chemistry.
Loved the fact we got to see a bit of the Mystic Pack and a bit of the Fey.
What i loved more though were the Vamps....i really do expect Elle Boon to write about the Cordell Brother....(pretty pleaaaaaaaseeeee Elle)

Since this is the third book in the series i can say that it was fast paced and filled with action and its only bad thing for me is that at some points i got to notice phrases being repeated and a pattern in the wording among all three books that at points while listening to Kellen talking i could see Xan saying the same things.

Still the book is awesome and i am happy to finally see Kellen meeting his match.
The book has some bdsm elements not much to shock but definetely enough to point out Kellen's Dominant side.
Definetely a must read book!!!!
Can't wait for the next book!!!

Elle Boon brings the Hotness in Kellen and Laikyn story it was so so HOT also she now is bring others into the picture you got Vamps and Shifters and now Fay yahhh or is that ohh my hehe but wow I love this lady's style and passion she puts into her books you get ACTION SEX and ADVENTURE into just one of her books also we can't forget her Humor oh my, so grab your glass of wine and join the pack of hot and sexy Iron Wolves MC and sit back and enjoy the fun that she grabs at your heart as you cheer for Lake and revisit the others from the other books she writes yes this is a stand alone book but really get the others too you will so enjoy them

Laikyn O’Neal is totally drawn to Kellen head of the Iron Wolves which are wolf shifters . Kellen is used to getting what he wants and Laikyn is it . He also has to watch out over his Iron Wolves which have problem with vampire shifters . Elle Boon writes with much detail and have Jenna head of Fae and her world inter woven win the story too. There is much action with Kellen his men protection their pack from outside influences . Now is the time to step into the Iron Wolves world !!

it was amazing

Oh my gosh, phenomenal, panty melting hot. So worth the wait,Kellen and Laikyn did not disappoint, the suspense and unknown villain had me reading to see what next. The banter between the main players and there unexpected allies had me in stitches, some of the things that came out of there mouth. Can't wait for the continuation of the series. I so what to read more about Jenna and the twins. I received this book in exchange for my honest review

Review I have been waiting for this book to release since we first met the hot as sin Alpha. We finally get the whole story behind what happened between Kellen and Lake that forced her to flee the MC.

Wolves, Vampires and Fey oh MY!!!! I love when two series cross. I feel like old friends come over for a visit when that happens.

Why do alpha males always do what they think is best for the women they love? I mean if Kellen would have just, I don't know, talked to Lake, they wouldn't have lost all that time together.

Love the intro to the Vampires and others into the series. Is this a new series in the making?

Loved loved loved Kellan & Laykan! Kellan is a true Alpha who will do anything to protect his mate and pack. I absolutely love that Elle Boon ventured out and added more paranormal beings like Vampires and Fey. This story grabs you from the beginning and sucks you in till the very end. Laykan is a feisty little red head that keeps the big bad Alpha on his toes. Such a fun, sexy and exciting series....The Iron Wolves are must read books, actually all books by Elle Boon are must reads. Awesome job once again Elle and cannot wait to read about Jenna in the near future (fingers crossed) lol

Holy hotness. Kellen is simply delish. Course he has been blind to the match he could have with Lake. Years ago an incident had him running from his mate. Now he isn't running anymore. Lake is in danger and he will have to fight to save her and to capture her heart again. Did I mention they are scorching hot together? Oh yeah they are. I loved that this is their second chance. This super strong alpha is all about his mate now. I so enjoyed their story.

OMG!!! I freaking loved this story!!! I did read the first two stories in this collection and so I was familiar with these characters and I was ready for this story to come along...I wanted to see Kellen handed his by the woman that knew him better than he knew himself!!! I definitely knew it was going to take a feisty woman to put him in his place!! I am so looking forward to more stories in this series and any other works by Elle Boon because I am in love with all of her works!!!!

I love how before Kellen & Lake had chemistry but Kellen couldn't get his head on right to acknowledge that she was the perfect 1 for him until this book.. I love their easy banter, despite him being alpha & threatening to take her over his knee everytime.. & I love how Elle introduced the twin hybrids & Jenna.. can't wait for their story :D keep up the awesome work, girl!!

This was a different adventure. Loved it. Kellen was so funny. His interaction with Jenna was so funny. Lake drove me crazy. She was so weak, submissive and desperate. She was a doctor and extremely intelligent, yet she would allow Kellen to drag her anywhere by her hair. Very disappointing. Adding the vampires and fey were fun. Interesting twist. Especially the twins. Look forward to reading Bohdi's story.

Wow! Ms. Boon has given us another awesome story in her Iron Wolves series! I loved Kellen and Laikyn! Their chemistry sizzled right off the pages! This action-packed, steamy tale will grab you right away and not let go until you reach the end. I loved the addition of the hybrids, vamps and fey too! Loved it! Great book and very well written. I see many stories coming in the future. Can't wait for the next one. I also see a new Vamps series (wink wink) in the future. We have to see what happens to Jenna.

It feels like I waited "forever" for Kellans story! And boy was it worth it. Kellan is the ultimate alpha male and I was so hoping Laikyn would be the mate he needed. She may be a submissive but is more then able to handle her alpha. No wussies here, thank you very much!
All I can say is this book was seriously hot, hot, hot! There was a compelling storyline and character's from the first two books that I have come to love. Love catching up on the other storylines.
The added elements of hybrids, vampires and fae opened up the door to any more exciting stories in the future.

Another fantastic story from Elle - Kellen, alpha of the Iron Wolves MC finally sees what is in front of his eyes and admits his feelings for Laikyn. Their world, and that of the rest of the 'club' is rocked by vampires and a visiting fey, Jennaveve (would love to get to know her more) and everyone has to band together to overcome those that threaten all the club holds dear. If you've read the other books you're sure to love this one too, if not get reading!
There are many aspects of Laikyn that remind me so much of Elle
I foresee a future book based on Syn and Bodhi.
