Stella and Dane are the perfect, opposites attract kind of couple! Their story is sweet and romantic, with a slow burning build of intensity. Stella is a strong and determined woman. Dane is a funny, light hearted, romantic guy. They both want the next big thing.... a child, but neither want to deal with the headaches of a relationship. So, they come to an agreement, but during their time together they build an angst filled, witty, romantic relationship. Great story, great characters!

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are hones
Stella wants a baby, but she does not want a relationship
Dane wants a baby, but he also does not want a relationship.
That is how they signed a contract to have a baby together without the hassle of a relationship.
How wrong were they ?
I loved the storytelling + the characters
The storytelling + the character's build were awesome!

Dane is just a typical man, proud about his body, "he was quite proud of himself when the doctor announced his sperm had “muscle” to them. Then he went ahead and informed the doctor and me “not to fret” because “his swimmers are ba****”..." I really liked this book, Stella was like the uptight strict one in the relationship and Dane was like the fun-loving one that would losen her up, they complemented each other really well.

Stella and Dane are one of my favorite couples. Their dialogue, with other, other people ( hello her mom! ) and in their own heads is so so funny. When he first meets her OMG, Love Delia, her brother, all of the entourage actually. Their chemistry is great, their road to HEA awesome! Loved the epilogue, typical Dane! I added more books to TBR list.

Stella Donovan has caught a serious case of baby fever and she really wants to have one of her own, but as we all know you need a man for part of the deal, and she is not in the market for a man. So, she does what any woman in her case would do and hits up her guy friends, who all tell her their not the right fit for her plan, but then a her friend does her a solid and sets her up a meeting with one of his friends. Problem is her first impression of the self proclaimed ladies man isn't so good, he's obnoxious, slightly vulgar, and the moment he opens his mouth he expects her to be at his mercy like every woman to come before her, and well, she just isn't seeing what all of the fuss is about. She'd prefer someone who didn't look at life with such a lackadaisical approach, she is more of a planner herself, she wants someone who takes things a little more seriously. So she tells him no thanks... but he isn't quite ready to let walk away, they both want the same thing, and he is determined to make her dream of being a mother a reality.

Dane Wylder has just closed the chapter on his football career, and now he is ready to move onto something else, something that involves a lot more effort, and a little less carefree lifestyle; he wants to be a father. The problem with that is he doesn't have the other part of the baby making component, a woman willing to carry his child, one that won't require a ring on her finger first preferably. Dane doesn't do love, he watched it take it's toll on his parents marriage, and it's just not something he is comfortable signing himself up for. So, when his buddy tells him he has a friend in the same boat that he is, he is willing to meet her, and see if she might be the perfect component for his plan... but after one meeting things don't go quite so well. She tells him no and walks away, but Dane is certain she is the right fit so he ups the anti and decides to convince her to change her mind... and winds up getting far more than he bargained for!!

Baby Maker is a highly entertaining tale of an opposites attract couple who decide to become parents the unconventional way, and wind up finding a whole lot more in the process. Neither planned on finding love, but fate had other plans for their little journey together, and I have to say it was so much fun to watch it all play out! This was a first time read for me, and I have to say this author definitely made a good first impression with her well crafted tale, it made me smile, made me swoon, and was good for the heart... and all around hit in my book! I highly recommend you give this one a try, it will surprise you, move you, make you blush, and leave you with a smile!!

Requested an advanced copy from the publisher, and voluntarily read and reviewed.

This book is absolutely fantastic! It is the first time I have read a book written by P. Dangelico, but it certainly will not be my last! Baby Maker is Book 1 in the series It Takes Two. I can’t wait to read more.

Stella is quite the workaholic. She tends to work a lot and she loves to live by schedules. She comes across as uptight and serious. Dane is a retired famous football player. He is funny, carefree, and charismatic. I loved Dane’s character. He made me laugh out loud more than once, in fact it was quite a lot! I love the possessiveness he had over Stella. I loved the banter between the characters, it made the book even more fun. The chemistry between them is electric. The anticipation of that first kiss was palpable through the pages. This slow burning romance will give you all the feels and when I say all, I do mean ALL! I was laughing so much, then crying, then mad at a certain women in the book (you will know once you read it yourself). Then I was smiling, happy, back to crying, I needed a few tissues for this one. This story is very different to most I have read, and the change of pace was nice and refreshing. It is a beautiful slow burning romance between two people who thought they would never find love. Never say Never! It’s safe to say I enjoyed this story immensely and will now go back and read other books written by P Dangelico.

Light, easy, predictable read that I truly loved. The story is nothing original, nor are the characters, but it’s written beautifully, the characters have passion, there is plenty of humour to lighten some of the more serious issues that are touched on. Dane Wylder, despite his womanising ways is quite the book boyfriend, I fell for him, hook, line and sinker. Stella Donovan is the quintessential planner, everything gets worked out with a spreadsheet, feelings are not taken into consideration. They both want a baby, no strings, no relationship, nothing, just a baby to call their own, on their designated days, shared custody and all set out in a contract. Of course there wouldn’t be a story if they didn’t mix things up a little. Super chemistry, a few misunderstandings and lots of funny moments. I’m so looking forward to more in this series. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

Baby Maker is my first time reading P. Dangelico, and I absolutely adored her writing and am now busy devouring her backlist. This slow-burn, thoroughly entertaining romance sparkles with warmth, humor and charm.

Dane Wylder recently retired from professional football and is ready to start the next chapter in his life, and he wants a baby but doesn’t want a wife. A mutual friend introduces him to Stella Donovan, a career-driven financial manager, who happens to want the exact same thing. While it sounds like a co-parenting match made in heaven, Stella isn’t impressed with Dane’s easygoing, Southern-boy charm, fame or handsome face, and she rejects his offer to father her baby. Dane’s not accustomed to being turned down and believes Stella would be the perfect partner for this unconventional partnership, so he sets out to convince her that he’s the best candidate for the job. He proves himself irresistible, and they negotiate a parenting agreement while getting to know each other. They discover that they not only like each other but are also incredibly attracted to each other. Although neither is a fan of marriage, both begin to question their previous stance on love.

Stella and Dane might be similar in their desire for a child, but they have very different personalities and frequently clash and engage in playful verbal skirmishes infused with sexual tension that make this story sizzle. They slowly establish a powerful emotional connection, and their love feels genuine and relatable. Baby Maker is fun and sexy with an abundance of heartfelt romance, witty dialogue and memorable characters, and it shouldn’t be missed.

Oh my goodness this book was freaking adorable! It was hilarious, super sweet and such a good slow burn. I’m not a huge fan of slow burns, but The Baby Maker got it just right!

Stella and Dane both want a baby. The issue is that neither one of them want the relationship that tends to go with a baby, let alone marriage. So when they learn about a co-parenting contract they agree to conceive via IVF. No messy feelings, no hassle. What could go wrong? They finally do conceive, but despite their efforts, the more they get to know one another their attraction begins to win out over their resistance.

This book was just so good. It’s was fun and sexy and the slow burn was so satisfying! The banter between Dane and Stella was amazing and had me laughing out loud at some of the kings hat flew out of Danes mouth.

If you’re searching for a laugh-out-loud funny and sweet, slow burn novel then look no further than Baby Maker! P. Dangelico knows how to write fantastic characters who are funny and sexy and a story that will leave a smile on your face. Five stars.

I received a complimentary ARC from the author for review purposes.

Stella is a very successful woman who hates love and doesn't believe she will ever marry but she has a lot of love to give. She wants a baby and she wants it with her ex Kevin but he says not unless you marry me. So she asks her friend Ethan if he knows anyone she can have a baby with but no who she has to commit to.

Dane is a hottie, former NFL player who also is a player and does not want love. He is also best friends with Ethan and he also wants a child but not a romance. Ethan puts the two together.

But Stella thinks Dane is the biggest jerk on the planet and says a BIG NO. And that is when Dane decides he has to change her mind. What ensues is a super fun, sweet and sexy romance and I loved every second of this story.

I loved that these two share the same views but Stella makes Dane work for it and I loved how hard he works for it. I also love how they are really there for the other thru thick and thin and the challenges life throws at them..

5 Star Review by Jodi for Ruby Red Romance Review

I loved this book. Stella is an amazingly strong woman. She has everything, but the one thing she really wants, a baby. Dane's NFL career is over, now he's trying to figure out what to do with himself. When Stella comes to Dane with a proposition, he has to convince her he's the right man for the job. There's only one problem, neither of them wants a relationship, but neither can fight it.

I love Stella's character. She's strong, she knows what she wants and what she doesn't. She just needs to find that right one. Dane is sexy, strong, and cocky. He's the total Alpha. I love how much he fought things until he didn't want to fight anymore.

This book is amazing. It's incredibly written from dual points of view. I love a good dual point of view book. P. Dangelico did an amazing job with this story and made me fall in love with Stella and Dane. This is my first book by P. Dangelico, however, it will not be my last. I loved these characters and this book. Please check it out.

Dane and Stella are just opposites. Stella's cousin had tragic luck with having a baby. She tells Stella, not to wait too long and not to let her life pass her by. She goes into fast forward panic mode wanting a baby. She is looking for a donor. Goes through a small list of people she trust, then one of her friends, Ethan, tells her he's got the perfect guy. Enter, Dane. He is fun, energetic, motor mouth, playboy, hot, sexy, retired NFL player. The opposite of what Stella is looking for in a co-parent. They spend time together and it is actually comfortable and seems natural.

It was really nice to see and read how Dane processes in his mind falling in love with Stella. He is so tough, but really is so soft and wears his emotions on his sleeve. I liked this book a lot. It covered the hate, the lust, the love , and I love that in books. Good read!!!

I received this copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

This is the story of Stella Donovan who decides that she wants a baby, but not the traditional way, no, she doesn’t want the trappings of a husband, so when she finds an app that will help search for the perfect donor, she is well on that.
Dane Wylder has retired from the NFL and wants to settle down with kids, but not the wife and when he meets up with Stella there is a spark, but they enter into a contract together to have a child through IVF and to agree to raise the child together through this legal contract.
There was that sweet romance between the two with Danes Cocky sense of humar and Stellas strong intelligent side, I loved to see these two opposites, one who plans everything down to the details and then there is the down to earth carefree joker of the pack.
This was a great story by P Dangelico and look forward to the next instalment in the It Takes Two Series

Stella's a successful financial advisor but her biological clock is ticking and she decides she wants to have a baby. However she doesn't trust men so she is not interested in marriage or going to a sperm bank. None of her male friends will help her out so she has to search for a suitable man to co-parent a child. Dane is a handsome retired Hall of Famer football player who has a 3 month rule when it comes to dating women. Not interested in settling down he makes sure any woman he's involved with knows the score. Dane and Stella meet through a mutual friend and it's dislike at first sight. Their encounters are hilarious and are probably my favorite part of the book. Dane can't believe that Stella doesn't find him irresistible and she won't accept his glib act. When they start learning more about each other their feelings change. Fun, sexy, romance read!

What happens when you throw in a contract, a baby, a by the numbers woman and a retired football player? Absolute chaos and epic banter as you watch Stella and Dane navigate through this path they have decided to take. Both commitment phobic, their chemistry starts to sizzle in this slow burn story. I loved watching these two crack as time wore on and closer to them getting to actually admitting they feel something.
While it did feel slow at points in this story, the build was very much worth it as you watch Dane crumble after everything that happens and Stella standing by his side. If you want a really good slow burn story, I would recommend this one for the witty banter and burning passion alone!

I loved reading Baby Maker by P. Dangelio. As the first book by this author, I enjoyed following Stella and Dane as they make their way from co- parenting to possible couple. Can they get past their past hurts, and see the wonderful future ahead of them, not only as parents, but as a family.
