When It Falls (The Valens Legacy Book 5)

Once more into the breach, dear friends, we find our supernatural team fighting on the defensive against onslaughts both personal and shared. Action dominates the story, but drama, humor, and love flesh it out nicely. If you’ve enjoyed the series so far, you’ll love this book. Can’t wait for the next one!

Very Recommended

The battles continue in Reno as Mages from all over the country converge on Reno. Sean Valenzuela has perfected the spell to neutralize the silver "kill pellets" that the mage groups use to enslave lycans. This is one of the best in this series so far and the author's writing skills keep improving with each new book.

I just love the comeuppance that happens to the bozo councils. Sean is growing as is his family. Gotta say I also really like the goblin guy. I would like to see him get a little more involved.

The intelligence of Sean could use a little growth or perhaps some slight maturing. Otherwise it is fair enough.

First, to really enjoy this book, you need to start with # 01. Second, if you've already read the previous books in the series, you won't be disappointed with this one. And third, yes, there is still the same amount of sex. Well, maybe a little more but not too much more! ???

Read the first book....have now done nothing and read all 6...lol. LOVED them. Not once did I turn a page unread due to over writing (rare for me). Great characters, excellent action...loved the plot.

Can you PLEASE start on round 2 of the series?!?!?!

They have brought the fight to Sean. A crashed tanker truck, a building damaged, 12 Lycans lost. A new home and wife - the pride grows.

More freed Lycans and agreements made. An attack that doesn't go as expected. Sean lights up.

Another good book in the series with more of everything you liked in the previous books. The plot has stagnated a little as the book follows a very similar story line to the last book. Overall enjoyed it and will read the next book

The massive battles aren’t that compelling.

The arrival and development of Sean’s mother and his faerie relatives is off to a great start.

And another wife, Cali a dark elf is an interesting development.

A harem story. The story continues with the main character looking to stay alive. Book ends on a cliffhanger. Picked up next book when I found it. Note: There are adult situations in the story as noted in the book description.

The latest entry in the Valens Legacy continues the tradition of great action, hot babes jumping the lion’s bones at every opportunity. It expands the landscape as people from other places start to get involved.
Can’t want for the next one!!

This picked up right where the other books left off, more action, romance, and mysteries solved with plenty yet to do. You won't be disappointed with this book if you're looking for quick fun escapism.

Love this series.... I know that the author is writing them as fast as possible but, still too slow for me. (Hate waiting).... Anyway good series, action packed, not to sexually over the top and very enjoyable.

The first book was a wonderful read and the series just keeps the fun coming. I read all five books available and am waiting for more. Looking for serious reading - then stay away, this is light entertainment at its best. Highly recommended.

Title pretty much says it all. Loved the first book in the series and really wanted to finish the series. Unfortunately, the story is REALLY dragging at this point and I have to give up. Also, the terrible ending of this book makes me mad.

I urge anyone who loves magical books and love stories to read all of this series starting with Black Friday. You will not be disappointed. I have read all of them at least two times and some of them 3 times

Hated the cliff hanger only because I have to wait several weeks for book 6 to see how it concludes. Love this series. I live in northern California and go to Reno a lot to shop and it's a kick to read about places I go to all the time. Good story and a great reluctant hero.
