The book was great and well worth the wait. Elliot Kay is one of the best self published authors on the store in terms of quality, and anything he releases is an automatic must have.
And the trigger warnings are hilarious.

I love this book, this series, and this author but when you put a huge plot point on the cover that tells me what is going to happen 60% into the book it honestly takes away a lot of my enjoyment reading this. If you like the first two books you'll like this one and I plan to keep reading them. Please change the cover to something fun and silly that isn't a spoiler

While some haven't enjoyed the changes in the third installment of the "Good Intentions" series, I think it was much better than the second book, which was still quite good.

"Personal Demons" isn't the sex romp of the earlier stories. This time, the focus is more on adventures outside of the bedroom.

While all the good guys from the previous books are present, Drew and Lorelei take center stage with more independent (without Alex) scenes. I know some see this as a defect; I see it as a welcome way to flesh out the supporting cast. Perhaps Mr. Kay is going to give each of the supporting leads a story of their own, which could be a very good idea. If that's the plan, I hope several questions are answered when it's Wade's turn.

There is a bit of political opinion in "Personal Demons." Your reaction to it will be your judgement, but rest assured it doesn't go overboard and spoil the storyline or narrative and it does give Alex some context.

Not to spoil anything but there is are radical changes in relationships that provide fertile ground for future stories.

Let's hope there isn't another three-year gap before the next book appears.

Elliott Kay has the best supernatural storyline going today. Anything coming out under the Good Intentions series is gold. What a great cast of characters: Alex, Rachel, Lorelei and the rest balance a good story and non stop action. I am pleased to see the story focus more on the plot verses sex, although sex is an important part of what makes this work.
As many good stories Elliott Kay has going here's hoping there is another book in the near future.
If you read the first two books in this series, you know what to expect, except that it gets better each time.

Chose one star cause the first two were ok filler reading between more serious series then this on goes and bleeding hearts all over the place with the I've seen the white boy on tumbler and how dare you must appropriate my culture and if the cucking in the last one didn't drain you it'll certainly beat the crap out of you in this one. And honestly it wouldn't even mater that much except the writer keeps coming up with entire conversations to justify it news alert we get it alex is a cuck

Honestly, there were some things that I like more about this book than its predecessor, but they weren't enough to save it. Still, I did enjoy the basic plot of Lorelei facing the ramifications of her past deeds and while the action sequences (particularly toward the end) seemed overly drawn out, they were good directions to take at the right time.

Unforuntately, the reader is still having to deal with the fundamental flaws of the series. First, none of the male characters (namely Alex and his friends) are anything more than bland, faceless entities, even if one of them does have an accent. They all act the same and have the same "evolved" sense of morality. Seriously, have someone say the wrong thing sometimes, just for a little bit of variety. Second, the author continues to overly project his own fantas (apparently) that all women want to have sex with Alex simply because he is a nice guy, even if one of those women is a lesbian. This makes me wonder if the author is unaware of how lesbianism works. Third, the author tends to trip himself up when he tries to overly explain when / why / how angels are able to interact with the mortal world and when they can't.

The first book of this series was great, because it was mainly just about the characters and getting to know them. The second was really good, but not as good as the first, because it tried to get into some reincarnation plot point and come climatic ending that I didn't find that interesting. And this book was just OK, because it was even more of what I didn't like about the second book. It's like this series is turning into some Scooby Doo mystery. These books are a lot of fun when it is just the characters having fun, going about their day to day business. But whenever the story arc moves into the action scenes, and the convoluted enemies, this series always struggles because that fun gets sucked out of the story.

I enjoyed it, but the author is suddenly hitting the SJW buttons pretty hard. "Mansplaining" actually uttered seriously (and incorrectly), accusing the ONE white guy who ACTUALLY has experienced growing up black of "white savior complex", making sure that in any interaction the woman has the indisputable moral high ground (Even when that woman is Lilith, mother of demons, talking to a young human who has proved his worth and valor over and over), making sure that none of the characters intended to be perceived as pathetic or contemptible -any characters acting in an ugly fashion- happen to be female. Telling a Duke of Hell he should wear a fedora when he doesn't abide by demanded human behavioural standards.

I give this book a five somewhat reluctantly, after reading all three books, I was hoping for a lot more sex rather than so much combat. The combat got very detailed were what little sex was in this book was glossed over.

Alex, his friends, Lorelei & Rachel are under threat from Sammael and the machinations of hell. It all comes down to a magical shoot out in the penthouse.
Good book. Read it on Kindle Unlimited.

MORE! really, give us more. Fun series with a sideways glance at all reality, deliberately turning... well... everything you *think* you know about reality on its head. WARNING: not for the faint of heart. Lots of fun!

Good book and I love the characters. However, the story line seems to be struggling with a direction and there was not a lot of character development in the book. More focus on supporting characters and lots of action still made it interesting. Overall good read but not the best book in the series.

I just the Author would do a brief recap, because I have read hundreds of books since the previous book. I really enjoyed this fast past action packed story. A regular dude disrupts a magic spell to bind an angel and a demon and ends up with them bound to him. The sex fantasy is as you would imagine plus.

The author took everything I liked from the previous books, and then he ramped it up. This books is full of suspense and action. The final fight scenes in the book were some of the best so far. The characters also show tremendous growth in this book. Hard choices are made, and there are consequences for those choices. Also, the author did a good job ending this book while leaving a curious thread open for the next one.

I have read every book by this author, and I will definitely buy the next one. If you like the previous books in the "Good Intentions" series, you will absolutely like this one. This is a book I will have to read again.

I'm not a fan of polyamorous relationships. However, the book provides, among a plethora of other things, a compelling argument for it. Furthered by skillful storytelling and a steady, unwavering pacing, I actually found myself enjoying the book.

I love how the Good Intentions story line continues to evolve and twist in both unexpected and thoughtful ways. To take a teenage boy sexual fantasy as a premise and craft it into a complex story line that both women and men can enjoy takes fabulous talent.

Once again Mr. Kay delivers. Personal Demons is as good a read as the first 2 books In the series. I enjoy Elliott Kay's Sci-fi writing very much but the Good Intentions series has it's hooks in me. Interesting characters great action and well written. Personal Demons leaves you wanting more, can't wait for book 4 to be written but in the mean time I look forward to the Audible version and my favorite narrator (hopefully) to come out and will snack up the paperback as soon as it's available

This latest book in the series expands plot and characters, blowing things up to epic proportions. What started as an *ahem* intimate story in book #1 with few characters has become an amazing story full of action, drama, romance, humor, magic, and (literally) otherworldly battles involving more characters. The sex is still there, but it’s more of an ingredient than the whole meal, and that’s fine. (Quality over quantity.) Everything about the story is amazing, including the editing.

Definitely still adult material, but definitely recommended. Especially if you’re already a fan.

Kay does it again! His writing and details are so well done. The characters seem real even though it's fiction. I have cared about Alex and company since the first story and that's not changed. Great job Mr. Kay! I look forward to the next one.
