Could be better. Rough editing but lived the idea for this book. Matt is the super protective big brother type to try and keep his sister's best friend, Emily safe from someone like Sculpt. The bad boy, underground fighter/ rocker.

Definitely read this before the next one. So nice to see how their relationship started and kinda made the second more angsty I think because you see how crazy he is about her in this book and throws you for such a loop in the next one.

Nashoda Rose did a good job with this series. When I first looked at the book I was like not my cup of tea but some friends said I should read it and OMG I couldn't put it down I read both books in a 24 hr time frame.

Logan and Emily have such a difficult past that it seems unthinkable that they would even be able to find a common ground in which to create a relationship, but the series allows them to grow and Logan is ever diligent in never letting Emily give up and walk away. Taken From You is the second novel in the series and is raw and difficult sometimes to read, but having been on the outskirts of this type of lifestyle, the author does do a great job in giving the reader a glimpse without having to immerse in the darkness that is sex slavery.
Fortunately Emily also has great support that aids Logan in getting the healing and hope he and Emily need when they escape the world that he has been running from his whole life. Logan and his mother are amazing strengths, it would be great to see if the author is able to do a story just for his mother, giving hope to those that have come through some of lives most difficult circumstances to see that there is always someone willing to love even the most damaged. Looking forward to more from Nashoda Rose with this group of characters.

I loved this story!!! I love fierce male characters and Scuplt is so intense, tough and sweet in this novella. Eme is also tough and strong which I love. They are perfect for each other. And then........
This story is what happens before Torn from you. If you read Torn from you first, then it gives you the story of what happened before. If you read this story first then the ending is a shock that leaves you like what the hell just happened, no no no that can't be good. And then when you read Torn from you, you quickly realize it's so much worse than you thought. I loved the entire series so far. Definitely much darker than my usual reads but well worth going out of my comfort zone.
If you haven't read any of them I recommend reading the novella before Torn from you. It helped me stay invested in Torn from you, through the darkest parts because I was already invested in Scuplt and Emily's relationship. Had I not read it first and not understood their connection beforehand I might not haven't been able to get through the beginning half of Torn from you.
All in all I am so glad I found this series and I can't wait for the rest of the characters stories...

Yes another book or novella with yet another cliffhanger. So u ask yourself is it worth the headache....yes it is. This is not a 6 part story that u have to pay for separately, it's 2 books, and the first one is pretty darn good.

This book had passion and drama. It was an intriguing read that made me not want to put it down. Recomend reading "Torn From You ( Tear Asunder)" its connected to this book and brings it all together.

This story is one of those nice surprises you get sometimes when you pick up a book where it was the book cover alone that entices you to read it. This is NOT your usual tattooed up bad boy singer/fighter; zero confidence, sexual inexperienced girl scenario. It is far better.
Steam was pouring from the pages! As this is only a prequel, be prepared for one hell of a cliffhanger!

I really enjoyed this book. I am always looking for a new author and I found one with Nashoda Rose. Sculpt and Emily have a strong connection and it was sweet getting to know them. I can't wait to read the next book!

I was really shocked and surprised by the intensity of Torn from You and so I read it without any knowledge of how Emily and "Sculpt" met. This free prequel was great and showed the intensity of their relationship from day one (which makes the next book seem so wrong in retrospect)...how he swore to protect and be with her always. His passion and alpha male possessiveness was exciting and when they finally get together it is really spectacular. That being said, you don't really need to read this novella before you read Torn from You, but you might as well set the stage for the terror that follows.

This was a really great short read with a monster sized cliff hanger. Holly Heck the next book will kick your butt!! This story is great - it takes to places you don't want to go exatly. D.A.R.K. So... do you like dark? Ask yourself this before reading... One thing I really hate is the over emphisis on the 'alpha' thing. The whole controling to the point of being abusive is a bit too much for me and I do love me a good alpha male. I think it needs to be balaced out a little more though with love, affection, etc. Also, tons of sex but never really making love... so it was hard to see the fullness of this love. Ok so that all sounds pretty critical but the story is really good. If you like darker reads then this one is for you and Sculpt is a hottie for sure! Take a bite :-)
