What a great story that had me bawling, laughing, and swooning all at once. Megan broke my heart and I wanted so badly to hug her. Molly was a sweet little girl that stole every scene she was in. Liam, Lee, Leelee. Oh how I love him and his mom was right. He is totally his father's son.

You know who really has me excited to read their story....Nate Reid, when that boy falls it's going to be amazing to watch. Love this series.

Harper Sloan’s Bleeding Love is the story of finding the person who completes you. Liam is the sex cop we all lust after, Megan is a young widow with a young daughter trying to figure her way in life. Liam has sensitive side that will make you swoon. Sloan will make you cry, smile, and cry while smiling. Every time you think you have the story figured out, it will flip just enough on you to be even more amazing.

Bleeding Love is the second book in this series, and a continuation of the Corps Security books as well. Liam realized a while ago that Megan is the girl for him, but he has to wait patiently for her to deal with her own past before she can move on. He comes up with a list of things to do with her to make her FEEL again. Add in Megan's adorable little girl, Molly, and you just know these three are going to be a family soon!

i didnt think harpers books could get any better but she blew me away with this 1 and it wasnt even so much with meg and liam as it was all the male characters with molly i know they all have that soft tender side to them but for them to sit dwn with molly and do what they did just to make her happy was beyond words had me crackin up

As always Harper didn't disappoint. I loved how Liam is like his dad and honorary uncles! He is all alpha male who oozes confidence and knows what he wants. This story shows a little into the life of a military wife who looses her husband, and shows just what a good man her husband was by removing her from danger. Highly recommended!

I have loved these characters since Harper Sloan introduced us to them in Axel, and she added a few more to their tribe with Megan and Molly this time around. I love that her males are alphas, but I love, love, love the way she has them show their hearts. I didn't think it could get better than Axel and Izzy, and yet every time she does...this book is about love, hope, loss and, well, everything. Great read!

Words cannot describe how much I loved this book! It was heartfelt and beautifully written. We should all be lucky enough to have someone love us as much as Liam loves Megan. I cried lots of tears for the emotional pain Megan went through, but in the end the love of a good man conquered her past. Also, Molly was the best!

Liam loves hard and is determined when he finds what he wants. But will his love and determination be enough?

Megan has experienced great loss in her short life. She has closed herself off to avoid feeling that pain ever again. Will she open herself up to love?

Liam and Megan's love story is a lesson in patience and determination. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

I have enjoyed reading all of Harper Sloan's books and this one certainly is no different, the way she effortlessly flows from character to character to link up all past and present characters in both series allows the reader to focus on the story and not get distracted by subplots which are sometimes annoying in other books. Im looking forward to what the future brings for Harper Sloan and the Hope Town series.

Really good story. Very much loved Megan and how she dealt with her issues in this story. However, Liam seemed sometimes a bit too emotional and sappy. I even rolled my eyes a couple of times. But overall good story and I'm still enjoying these Corps Security men and their families!

"Same book, different chapters, baby. Don't worry, you'll learn to read fast."

It's quotes like this that make me love books by Harper Sloan. All of her men know what they want and go after it. Liam Beckett is no different.

I loved this book. Somehow, it may just be my favorite of all books by Ms. Sloan. It made me just want to reread the Corps Security series.

Everytime I read one of your stories it gets better and better. You make us fall in love with new characters but all of our favorites even more! This book was awesome! Lee is so much like his father...never gave up and loves so hard! I have to say that there wasn't one thing I didn't like about this book....I loved everything. Can't wait to see who is next....they all deserve happiness!

I usually avoid any books that mention death simply because I like fluffier books and let's be honest, death makes it sad. Bleeding Love was so well written and so positive in the wording of all of the sad parts that it was easy to get lost in it. It was a fantastic book that I would recommend to anyone!! I loved it and can't wait to read more from Harper

Well worth the read. I love the characters of Hope town and this is a sweet story worth picking up. Reading these books though have me expecting drama and threats, witch I don' t get in this book, therefore 3,5 and not 4.

I love these corps babies! Beautiful again. I feel like I would maybe recommend a break in reading the series. Don't binge read it all at once. It can seem kind of monotonous...While I love them all, it is alot of the same characters and troubles. I love this series though. Definitely one of my favorites.

Gotta say dani and cohens story is very very good.. And now reading Liam and Megan I'm in love all over again.. A guy goin after what he wants for his future is the guy I love reading about.. His alpha male makes the whole story complete.. I'm waiting for the next book in the series.. Super excited and as always I love your work Harper Sloan..

I love everything that Harper writes. If you like alpha males with suspense and super hot sex, this series is for you. I can't ever put her books down. I recommend reading her Corps Security series first as this series, the Hope Town series, is based on the kids from the men in the Corps Security series. Harper knows how to write some super hot, super sexy, super alpha males!

I was resently lured back into the romance novel genre and this was the first book I read. As a single mom some things Liam did didn't sit to well with me but in the end he made up for it all and turned out to be a really great guy! After reading Bleeding Love I got Unexpected Fate and look forward to reading more by Harper Sloan.

What an incredibly beautiful story. Liam has a beautiful soul and wants nothing more to love Megan and Molly. Molly's past prevents her from being able to love, but Liam does not let that stop him from getting his girls. The relationship between Molly and "Leelee" is so touching and loving. Another fantastic book by Harper Sloan!!!

I absolutely love Harper Sloan's books. Bleeding Love was was fabulous from beginning to end. I didn't want it to end. Liam and Megan's story is about learning to feel alive again and getting a second chance at love. Some of my favorite parts of the book are of Molly and how she wraps those big Alpha males around her little finger.

Love love love Liam and Megan...that poor girl needed someone to point out just how strong she is. She's a survivor and Liam is the first one to make her FEEL everything. There were some twists in here that I wanted to scream as I cried. Oh and Molly stole the show that little girl is so precocious and just so hard not to love!!

This story was deep and well written in all regards. It was an exciting read that I couldn't put down! I love the characters and the way their love progressed. And i love the following of the others characters from Harper Sloan's other books, it's like being a part of that wonderful family and watching everyone grow up!

Absolutely loved Liam and Megan! I just love how we get to see the Corps Security guys and their kids now. Meghan is such a closed in character when we meet her but Liam true to Beckett form, knows what it will take for her to break free of her darkness. Add in Molly and the fun, with a "makeupover", and the giggles abound!

Absolutely loved it. I am really loving the spin off books from the parents series. I just love this group of characters. This book was perfect. There was no major catastrophe which I really enjoyed. This was too damn sweet! Not much drama but definitely a lot of feels! Some may call this boring because it lacks angst but I loved it the way it was written. Not all romances have to be dramatic. This was one of the special ones. Can't wait for more Hope town series! Please do Nates book next!!!! Lol

Tragedy has a way of changing ones priorities. However when it comes to Liam Beckett; (Cue- Sway swoon) nothing will stand in his way of the one he knows is the one and only. The next generation of Corps Security gives us the new blood of hot over protective Alpha men who love with all their heart.

Say Harper Sloan does it again - Liam and Megan rock - he's so much like his dad and I love it, working to get his girls and in the end he does. Thank you Harper for bringing us the children of the men we loved in Corps Security.

Bleeding Love (Hope Town #2)
By: Harper Sloan
3/5 stars

Liam Beckett is the only son of Beck & Dee and Dani (Reid) Cage’s best friend. Instead of joining his dad & the other men at Corps Security, he joined the Hope Town Police Department. He’s a loyal friend and just an all-around good man. He’s not only fallen in love with Megan but also with her daughter Molly. And he’s like his father, once he’s made his choice, he goes all in.

Megan is a young widowed mother, whose husband was good friends with Cohen Cage and they spent time together while in the Marine Corps. (They were possibly in the same unit, but I don’t recall.) She has been drowning in her grief for the last 3 years. She was brought into the group initially by Cohen & befriended by Dani, who kept her in the group. Through the years, she’s noticed Liam watching her and has tried her best to keep her distance.

I thought that maybe we’d get to see more of Liam’s job, since some of the book was written in his POV, but really we only saw him on the job once and then read about it a couple other times when he was working long hours from Megan’s POV. We did hear about Megan’s job. :)

This book didn’t grab me like the 1st book in this series, Unexpected Fate, or like some of the Corps Security books did. I actually had to force myself to keep reading. I was a little bummed that we didn’t get to see the couple years or so that passed by, which is when Liam actually fell in love with Megan. But I thought it was odd, that he didn’t know he was in love with her until Dani told him it was love. But later tells Megan that he knew he loved from the first few times that he met her. We didn’t see much of Beck & Dee in this book, but that was ok considering it wasn’t their book & Dee annoyed me in theirs. But I thought that maybe they would have been incorporated more, somewhat like Axel & Izzy in book 1, Unexpected Fate.

I know that Kristen Ashley is one of Harper Sloan’s favorite author’s and I’ve always that her writing emulated that to a certain extent, but this book was just overboard with KA-esque writing. There was the overuse of darlin’, a few honeys and sweethearts and hands on the faces when talking all sweet. Even Liam’s dirty-talk could have been taken straight from KA. I also really liked the name Liam, which for some reason all the friends had shortened to “Lee” which reminded me of KA’s Lee Nightingale from Rock Chick. The similarities may have been more glaring since I read KA’s newest release 2 weeks ago. Either way, it was just too much.

One thing I absolutely loved was Megan’s daughter Molly & her funny attitude. I also loved how she interacted with Axel & Nate Reid when Izzy & Axel babysat her. It’s adorable to see big, manly men not care what grown-ups think and just get on the same level as a 5 year old girl.

Would it be wrong and possibly embarrassing to admit that when the ARC of Bleeding Love hit my kindle that I may have screamed like a teenage girl at her favorite boy band concert? Yes? No? Maybe? Oh well I don’t care because that is exactly what I did when I saw that Liam Beckett was in my dirty minded little hands. I may have petted my kindle a little and hissed when my husband came near and tried to take it away from me because his words “it’s official she’s lost her d@mn mind” may have been said as a prayer for patience and sanity. Can you tell that I was excited?

Now you know I love my man Cohen, yes I said my man, I am still trying to work out the visitation schedule with Dani though; but Liam Beckett oh my god he is going to have to share me with Cohen because I want a Liam of my own. Hmmm... Cohen and Liam fighting over me, give me a second while I picture this… D@mn I wish that would happen because Liam Beckett is one hot determined stubborn alpha male that left me changing my panties, remembering what it is to feel loved that you are the most important thing in the world and had me absolutely in love with him. I never thought that the sons of my favorite Corps Security men would have me loving them more than I did their fathers but it’s true, their sons are even more bad @ss, sexier, alpha, panty wetting, and everything we love in our book boyfriends. I just love them period.

Bleeding Love was emotional, sexy, enthralling, and showed what the love of a good man can do in healing wounds. I felt so much for Megan, she really broke my heart more than once when we learn of her past. I loved how her daughter was her world and that while she wanted Liam she wanted to make sure her daughter would accept him, although it is quickly shown that she more than does. I’m not going to give anything away but make overs, tea parties, and big tough alpha men make for some hilarious moments and sweet memories. Liam knew he wanted Megan and he waited but when he couldn’t wait any more he still went in gently, well maybe not gently but he made me love him more and more with everything he would do. He truly loved her. And he is one smoking hot sexy alpha man, if you think his daddy was determined to win his mom you haven’t seen nothing yet.

I could go on and on about my love for Bleeding Love, Liam Beckett, Harper Sloan and a million other things, but I won’t. What I will say is this. This is one of the best books I have read this year, one that I have already reread since getting the ARC, and I can guarantee I will be reading it again in the future. I love how Harper Sloan has continued the legacy of the Corps Security men that we all fell in love with, with their sons and daughters, and the way she has done it is beautifully. You do not have to have read the Corps Security series or Unexpected Fate to read Bleeding Love, but I encourage you to do so, just so you get to meet the men we all loved and now their children who once again prove that love can overcome some of the hardest times and deepest pains.

I really enjoyed this book. I thought Liam such a sweetheart. Megan, I really liked. She was very much protecting her heart and her daughter. Loved Molly. She was too cute.

This whole book was very predictable, but it was overall good.

Looking forward to Nate's book, whenever that is.

Best one yet, I cried through the whole thing. This book shredded me! The patience and love Lee had for Megan was astounding ( so much like his father). The chemistry nearly melted my kindle! What got me was Molly, she made me laugh and broke my heart as only children can do! Amazing story!

Harper Harper Harper. The woman has done it again. This series is by far my favorite of hers. I just love the kids and seeing them grown up makes me so happy. And boy are they grown up. I thought I was team Cohen after reading Unexpected Fate but now...Liam...gah! I can't decide. I'm team everyone!

This is the second book in the Hopetown Series and can be read as a standalone but I always suggest to start at the beginning. You will definitely wanna meet Dani-Girl and Cohen and find how their love came to be. *le sigh*

Now...this book. I absolutely loved it. Harper's stories get better and better and her writing continues to grow as she types each word. There was something about this book that just struck all the right chords in me. It reminds me a lot of my relationship with my husband. Although I wasn't married before meeting him and I had a wonderful childhood, he fought for me. For whatever reason, I had a hard time trusting. I was a teenage girl. Boys were stupid. Blah blah blah. Anyways, what Liam does for Megan. What he does to get her to see. What he does to get her to trust him. *swoon* I just love a man who works hard for his woman.

Liam works hard for this woman. And with a little help from his best friend, pieces fall into place. And I loved Molly. She is simply adorable. I also loved seeing all of the characters from the previous books.

And hot. Holy hot. I thought Cohen was hot. But Liam? WOW! Intense. His dirty words. Him. All of him. Sigh.

I could feel the love pouring off the pages. My heart is still swollen with love for these characters. And I can't wait for more. It was pure perfection. It had all the feels and so much more. I will be hung over for days.

Thank you, Harper, for this beautiful story and for allowing us into your world.
