ARC for honest review with no compensation wish you could give more stars....

Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You is the 2nd book in the Summer Lake series and what a way to continue this series! ! Bella Andre takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride but the ups and downs are so worth it! Job well done, Bella! !

Christy and Wesley decided to break off their engagement 3 weeks before the wedding, but Wesley makes like a thief in the night and leaves….leaving on notes to not blame Christy. Christy is trying to be brave from all the fall out of Wesley leaving; she tells her BFF Sarah that she can have her wedding on that same weekend instead. Once the wedding is over and they are moving to the reception in walks Wesley’s brother, Liam…….

Liam decided to come back to Summer Lake for his brother’s wedding and was only staying for a few days before he was off again on his world travels for business. When he walks into the wedding he thought he missed it, only to find it was his cousin, Sarah getting married. As he stands at the back he sees Christy (not knowing for sure who she is) picking up rose petals with tears in her eyes. Something cracks inside him but he doesn’t know what it is….

Both feel this attraction instantly when their eyes meet but once Christy finds out who he is she knows she can’t let anything happen between them because people will disapprove of her dating Wesley’s brother…but boy does she want more from Liam then he is willing to give.

There is so much turmoil, attraction, secrets, longing, tears (mine too) and some ghostly happenings.....but once you start reading you will not be able to put it down until you know why Wesley left without telling anyone, Christy’s past life before Summer Lake, and Liam and the secret he has been holding onto for over 20 years…..but in the end will Liam let Christy into his heart and find their HEA or will both their past destroy this relationship???

Christie Hayden always runs. If a situation gets too be too much for her, she runs to somewhere new. She knows how devastating secrets can be & hates that she's been entrusted with two. She was planning her wedding to her best friend, Wesley when she discovers one of the reasons she was having misgivings. They cancelled the wedding. When Christie awoke the next morning, instead of Wesley helping her explain, she had to do it herself. Wesley left a letter begging her to keep his secret & telling her he'd be back but he needed time. Now she has to keep a secret from people she has grown close to & it's taking a toll on her.

Liam has been traveling for work. He has caught a flight straight from China to attend his brother's wedding. Wesley's letter telling him the wedding was cancelled didn't catch up to him before he got there. He could tell that Christie was keeping something from him. He wasn't sure he wanted to be home but felt he needed to stick around to help run the inn & find Wesley. As Christie shows him the ropes & teaches him about running an inn, Liam learns more about her & is struggling with suppressing his emotions. Can he learn to trust Christie? Can he learn to show his emotions again?

What a wonderful emotional tale! From the lesson of what havoc keeping secrets can cause to the older story of the haunting of Christie's room, Bella Andre has written a story that keeps the reader enthralled. From the cancelled wedding at the beginning, the reader is pulled into the emotions & the story. The plot twists & turns in unexpected ways. The characters are well developed & realistic. The supporting characters add color, depth & drama to the story. A large number of the characters are the same as in Book 1 but this can easily be read as a stand alone. There are a few references you might miss but you will not be lost & unsure about what's happening. This book is another example of Bella Andre's wonderful writing style. I really enjoyed it & can't wait for Book 3!

Christie Hayden and Wesley Kane had been best friends since college, and they were engaged to be married. Christie decided that she only loved Wesley as a friend so she went to his suite three weeks before their wedding to call it off. When she opened his door, she saw him kissing a male friend of theirs. Wesley had wanted to call the wedding off too. Christie asked why she never told him she was gay, but he didn't have a good answer. He just asked Christie to keep it a secret until he could think about what he wanted to do. He left the next morning without talking to anyone and only left notes asking everyone to give him time to think. Christie gave her wedding plans to Sarah and her fiancé Calvin and they were married three weeks later. As the wedding was ending Liam Kane showed up at the Inn thinking he would make it for his brother's wedding the next day. Liam couldn't understand why there was a wedding just before his brother's. Liam saw Christie and couldn't speak as he thought she was so beautiful. She explained to Liam that the wedding was called off. Liam had sold his business so he is going to stay and help Christie run the Inn. Christie doesn't know if that is a good idea as she is attracted to Liam.

I loved all the secrets that were going around and how they affected some of the main characters. Liam and his Mom had a secret that had affected Liam for 20 years and kept him away from his family. Wesley had his secret that made him leave Summer Lake. Liam and Wesley's grandmother even had her own secret! This was an exciting book to read. I loved all the characters and how Ms. Andre showed their weaknesses and strengths. Christie was such a sweetheart that always blurted out what she thought. It was wonderful to see how Christie melted the ice around Liam's heart and what a good person he is. It is a great story and I strongly encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.

Welcome Back to Summer Lake.
Christie and Wesley were going to get married, but Wesley left town abruptly. Wesley has a secret, but Christie won’t share his secret for it is for him to tell. Wesley’s mother blames Christie for him leaving. Christie has been left to run their inn and festival by herself.
The day before their wedding Wesley’s brother Liam lands at the inn not knowing that the wedding has being cancelled. Liam has been away on business for many years and has finally returned to Summer Lake. He wants to know the truth of why his brother left but Christie won’t say. He finds out that is brother sent him a letter, telling him he was leaving and to take care of Christie. But that is all no other explanation.
Christie and Liam are both fighting the attractions that both have for each other. Liam is loving that fact that Christie is so caring, kind and determined in everything she does. Christie just broke up with Wesley and Liam is his brother she can’t fall for him. That would not be right.
There are so many secrets’ in Summer Lake will they all be revealed?
Will Christie finally fall in love with the right man?
Will there be a happily ever after [HEA]?
I am very pleased to be able to receive and review this book for Bella Andre.

Wish there was more stars that I could
give this book because it's worth more.
If you have read Summer Lake 1 you will
know the story about Sarah and Calvin
well this book starts off with Christie helping
Sarah get ready for her wedding wich should of
been her wedding but her relationship with Wesley
did not work out.
Liam was home for his brother wedding that he did not know
was not going to take place now. That is how Liam got his first
look at Christie and could not take his eyes off her.
That is how there story starts. This is one book you are going to
have to read yourself to find out everything that goes on.
Be worn once you start reading this book you can't put it down
you are hooked right from the first page until the last.
I highly recommend this book If you haven't read book 1 you will
Still enjoy the book because each book has it's own ending.

This is #2 in the series and easily stands alone. It stars Christine, a sweetheart who runs the towns inn and who was recently jilted by her fiancée Wesley.

Christine is throwing a wedding for the couple in the first book the day before what would have been the day of her wedding. When she gets a visitor, Liam who is Wesley's older brother.

Liam sticks around after trying to find out why Wesley jilted her as Chrstine won't tell anyone. Meanwhile Liam has a big secret too that destroyed his life and relationships 20 years before.

Liam and Christine work together on the inn and fall in friendship and love while there are two big secrets out there that can destroy everything.

I am a big Belle Andre fan. I loved her original Sullivan series and even some of the cousins ones I loved. But this Lake series I am not loving. First of all we need more Sullivans. In this book we have one scene with them. 2nd I just don't like the main characters as much as the Sullivans. There is also a 45 years before story within this story and I hate when books go into the past.

In this book my problem was the heroine. Christine just wow. There are two big secrets in this book. One is Wesley's and Christine spills it. She says it’s a mistake but she spills it in such a way that everyone finds out and she lost a lot of my respect when she did that. It was really not her secret to spill and she knows that.

Second Liam trusts her with his secret and she violates his trust. Now I am not saying she was wrong in that it needed to come out. But it was not her secret to spill and she should not make decisions for the man she loves. What she should have done was convince him to talk about it with his family. And instead she totally betrays him and I would never trust her again. She definitely cannot keep a secreet at all.

Anyways the stories are well written. I think they are tamer than the Sullivan books in relation to sex but I just did not love the heroine and actually felt betrayed by her behavior.

Wow. Once again Bella Andre gave us a beautiful love story. I know that I start off all my reviews from her with that, but, it’s true. She is an amazing author that truly knows how to show us what love is all about while telling a beautiful story.

Summer Lake is starting to be one of my most favorite places to visit. The people are warm, fun and interesting, the place is beautiful and now, it want to go to the Inn, see the gazebo, look out over the lake and just fall madly in love. Christie and Liam’s story just made it even more special to me.

Opposites … the one word that describes Liam and Christie. One holds a secret better than anyone ever could and the other who has a secret that is tearing her apart. Christie is open, loving, caring and empathic. She wears her heart on her sleeve and its killing her knowing the truth about Wesley and not being able to share it with his family. They blame her for everything but she is not going to let that stop her from running the inn, going to knitting group, planning the festival and living her life. Until Liam shows up, unexpectedly, and throws her life into a tailspin.

Liam has held a secret since he was 14 years old. He doesn’t trust anyone and will not allow any woman to think that he could give her what she dreams of – forever. He doesn’t believe in forever and make sure that Christie knows that. He also cannot stay away from her shining eyes and her beautiful heart. He knows he is falling in love and finally found someone to be honest with, share his secret with, until she betrays his trust and throws his life into a tailspin.

I loved Grandma Jean. She was such an excentric, beautiful and caring woman. She saw the light in Christie from the first moment she saw her. She didn’t hold her responsible for Wesley but took her under her wing and treated her like one of the family. Henry was the kind of man that you should have as a father. He was loyal, loving and always supportive. Susan needs a lesson in love and in parenting. Enough said about her.

I adored Christie and Liam’s story. It was a story about trust, friendship and love. I love how Bella Andre builds her characters, gets you to understand them and feel their pain, their love … comprehend their mistakes and root for them to correct them. I love how she always gets me to root for the underdog and rejoice when it all turns out the way it is supposed to. But, most of all, I love how she shows the romantic side as well as the lustful side, how she brings her characters together and makes sure that they stay together. I’ll always read Bella Andre knowing that it will be romantic, sexy, have characters that I could relate to and will always, always, always have a happily-ever-after.

This is another amazing story in the Sullivan/Summer Lake series. Christie Hayden is hiding a secret about her broken engagement. Just as her best friend is ready to walk down the isle her ex-fiance's brother, Liam Kane walks in. The chemistry between Christie and Liam is immediate but they both fight it for a few reasons. Liam has to come to terms with her having been engaged to his brother, plus he is also keeping secret. One of the things I loved about this book were the stories about the secondary characters, you wanted to read about them also, Bella Andre has a way of pulling you into a story and making you feel every emotion the characters are feeling. You will fall in love with Christie and Liam, both are very good, likable people and their story is filled with sizzling chemistry, mystery, and humor.

Can love conquer all? Read this amazing story of how unfiltered honesty hurts and cures. Secrets of the past hurt those in the present. Bella Andre writes the most believable and relatable stories. The modern day story of Christie Hayden and Liam Kane are told with a connection to past generations. The family connections in this small mountain town are heartwarming. The historical connections are entertaining and interesting. The small town of Summer Lake has its share of grouchy, don't change anything, residents that give the story a counterpoint to the romance that is developing. Can a past secret continue to drive a wedge between Liam's parents? What will happen if the secret is revealed? Thank you Bella Andre for another visit to Summer Lake. I can't wait for a chance to return again.

Secrets kept for days or decades, slowly begin to burn into the person tasked with keeping them. Nothing good comes from keeping them, in fact, sometimes they're not the best kept secret in the world.

Christie has been a minor character in a couple of Bella Andre's books and I was hoping she would get her own HEA. Liam is a high-powered entrepreneur coming home for his brother's wedding...to...Christie. The wedding is called off when Christie realizes Wesley isn't the man for her. Wesley agrees to an amicable split, then leaves everyone letters rather than staying to face the music. He has asked Christie to keep his secret though.

Liam comes home not knowing the wedding is not going to happen. He meets Christie and is taken in by her beauty and truthful demeanor. She thinks she needs a filter, but that isn't her. Liam LOVES that she says what she means and means what she says. Although Liam has promised himself he'll never get caught in the love trap, he is falling for Christie. Keeping a family secret, Liam finds it difficult to commit to Christie. Secrets need to be opened to the light of day, and as this happens, Liam finally realizes he must confront the person he’s kept a secret for since he was 14 years old, to be able to move forward.

Another great read by Bella Andre. I love the way she weaves a bit of fantasy into this book. You’ll want to read it!

Another 5 star read from Bella Andre! She really knows how to do romance!!
I really enjoyed this second Summer Lake story! Both Liam and Christie are interesting characters and are so relatable as are all of the folks in Summer Lake. I just love them as a couple. They have fantastic chemistry and it is easy to see that they are falling in love even if they both don't see it for what it is at first. They are there for each other and help each other through some not so easy things even though that is not always easy for either of them. I really liked the interesting back stories we got about Jean and Susan in this book as well as they both directly and indirectly affect the relationship between Liam and Christie.
I am just loving this Sullivan spin-off series so much!!

First off how can someone not enjoy picturing yourself in the middle of summer lake. Bella Andre lays out the town perfectly from the lake to the Inn to shops

If this is your first book in the spin off Sullivan series you really need to read book one the Summer Lake series to get the feel for the characters. This book came in with Liam was coming to the wedding of his brother Wesley and his fiance Christie. What Liam didn’t know was the wedding was called off and he arrived to the wedding of a cousin and her long time love.

Where Christie and Wesley couldn’t make it work (he is gay) Christie and Liam were a steaming hot couple. They found their Happy Ever After with one another. I love how Bella develops the characters and there has been a historical time line in both books in this series that makes the town more “real”

You won’t be disappointed in reading any book from the series. If you have not read the Sullivan series, start with book 1. Before you know it you will feel like an invited guest to the weddings!

***I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review***

I loved it! The idea of a woman being close friends with one man and learning to love another by being a friend to him. They say that is the best way to have a good marriage is by being friends first. The main characters are Christie and Liam, both of whom were deceived in ways no one wants to be. Christie is a somewhat shy woman who was supposed to have gotten married but her soon to be groom was hiding a rather significant secret. It turns out his older brother Liam was also hiding a rather significant secret as well. Learning to trust and being respected go hand in hand with each other and this book shows how Christie and Liam learn trust and respect for each other as well as love. I enjoyed the book and think it is well worth the time to read but that is just my honest opinion!

I really enjoy Bella Andre's romances. Her characters are well developed with many nuances. Even get secondary characters are developed enough that you care about them and can't wait for their stories.

This particular book was about family secrets and the pain and possible devastation that can come from holding on to them.

Liam and Christie meet when they are each holding a secret for someone else. Interestingly enough, everyone in Liam's family has a secret to tell. Christie helps Liam to understand the destructive power of secrets. Although I think Christie lacked a bit of self control regarding the blabbing of other people's secrets.

This is a true romance that holds you in suspense while you wait to see what the effect of revealing secrets will be on Liam, Christie, and Liam's family.

This book is sweet, sad, romantic, and sensual. As secrets are slowly revealed, you keep hoping for Christie and Liam's HEA.

I voluntarily read this Advanced Reader Copy.

Bella Andre has a way of drawing readers into her stories with beautiful imagery and stunning characters that make you feel like you are right there, in the heart of it all. There's just something about Andre's books that elevate her, head and shoulders above the rest. Can't Take My Eyes Off of You is yet another stellar example of how she accomplishes this. It is an emotional, mysterious and beautiful story that will hook readers from the first page. There's drama, secrets, forbidden love and characters who are real and flawed. As a reader, you can truly feel the characters pain as they come to grips with their secrets and their mistakes.

Although part of a series, Can't Take My Eyes Off of You can definitely be read as a standalone. It is a beautiful story that fans of Andre, both new and old will absolutely love. You'll laugh, cry and swoon as the story unfolds. With a satisfying HEA, readers will adore this book and look forward to the next installment in the Summer Lake series.

The first Sullivan stole my heart and those Maverick Billionaires staked a claim on my soul. However, I've realized neither hold a candle to the citizens of Summer Lake. The classics meet modern fairytales. Ms. Andre has a talent for blending these two styles and hitting the JACKPOT, more often the not. The central ingredient is the heart. She builds her stories about what makes us most vulnerable. Our emotions! That's why her stories are easy to relate to and hard not to fall in love with. Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You is a triple threat. The atmosphere is inviting, the characters are enticing and the tale, itself is breathtaking. We all dream of finding a love that endures. For a little girl the experience begins the minute we open our first fairytale. For men, it may take a bit longer and be hidden much deeper, but the feeling is still there. But will we take the risk? In my opinion that's what makes a Bella Andre novel so special. It appeals to the dreamer in us all.

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
Secrets always cause pain especially when children are involved
Christie knew that she could not marry Wesley.
They were more like friends than lovers.
She can't remember the last time they kissed.
On the day that was supposed to be her wedding, she meets the older brother Liam.
Their attraction was instantaneous + electric.
She could feel it across the room.
What to do? Should she pursue this attraction? or leave it alone ?
Liam was leery of love.
In his experience, it only brought pain.
Overtime, Christie show Liam that love is not pain.
It is joy, love, and a promise of much more.
Will Liam hold on w/ both hands to Christie?
Will He really give love a chance?
You will have to read the book to find out.

The Kane family dynamics (secrets) were the prefect backdrop for this romance. Bella Andre took a heroine type I usually don't care for, the girl in love with being in love, and made me crazy to have her find a HEA. This type of heroine is usually annoying but, not Christie. I liked that she found happiness when someone, anyone, found love. Liam was amazing! Witnessing him fumble through the emotional turmoil of falling in love, and trying to remain totaling analytical made this a amusing read.

I loved grandma Jean; she is that wacky-lovable character every story needs.

A beautiful written book of how secrets can ruin your life & of those you love. This was true of this particular family & friends. A mother's influence on a child, plays out through adulthood, with a secret she demanded her son, Liam, to keep. As a result, a disfunctional family resulted in Liam leaving home once he was an adult & not returning until his brother's wedding. Upon his arrival, he found out the wedding had been called off & his brother missing. Liam saw Christy & instantly fell in love with her, He craves her, but ends up being a broken man because of his mother's secret & unresolved feelings. This is a very emotional book that nearly destroys a family. Bella Andre always writes very soul searching books & this one does not disappoint the reader. Great series of Summer Lake!

When Christie and Wesley finished their engagement... they remained friends but none know where Wesley is. When his brother Liam come to Summer Lake to watch Wesley and Christie wedding he meets his ex to be sister in law.

When Christie and Liam meet they can't avoid their attraction... they become friends and even with secrets hidden they found the love in each other arms and their love can help all the family.

I love the Kane family the grandma and the men.... Christie is a strong woman who is true to herself and to everyone who knows her... she helps Liam be who he was and they are very happy together.

A perfect summer read! This book has a heroine, Christie, who can't tell a lie, loves with her whole heart and knows that sometimes the hardest things can result in the sweetest results. Liam is the wounded hero who doesn't trust in love and is haunted by a secret that he should've never had to keep. Liam arrives expecting to attend his brother's wedding but instead finds out the nuptials have been cancelled--which is good for him since he can't take his eyes off of Christie, his brother's ex-fiance. Bella did a wonderful job with this story--the connection between Liam and Christy was totally believable and fun to watch develop into their HEA. I also liked the way all the secrets were dealt with and the healing that began.

I had remembered meeting Christie and her fiancee in the New York Sullivan's and in the first Summer Lake book, so I was really looking forward to how she was getting a story with a different love interest. How was this going to play out?? I can say that it played out really well. I really enjoyed Can't Take My Eyes Off of You, a story about how secrets can destroy those you love the most. What I really liked about this book is that you saw the causes and impact of those secrets from the different characters affected by them, not only Christie & Wesley or Christie & Liam, but Liam's parents and grandparents, Susan & Henry and Jean & Thomas. Thank you, Bella, for another lovely story that I couldn't put down.

I received an ARC for an honest review. Christie is the new innkeeper in town and her wedding to Wesley was called off. He left town and left her to deal with the questions from everyone. Liam, Wesley's brother comes home for a wedding that is not happening, and Christie is silent. Secrets....are there any good secrets? Christie and Liam both have a secret that has impacted their views on life and the walls that they've built. Nonetheless, there is an attraction building between the two that cannot be denied but its not an easy road. The twists and turns, the highs and lows and how Ms. Andre weaves this story that will have you turning page after page to get to their HEA. Can't wait to go back to Summer Lake.

Liam is back in Summer Lake after a long time to attend his brothers wedding. But he is in for a shock when he learns the wedding has been called off and the woman who's captivated him is none other than his brothers ex fiancé.
Can't take my eyes off of you is a beautiful, heartwarming and emotionally touching read. There are secrets, regrets and reality to be faced before Christie and Liam could be together, and Ms Andre has spun a captivating read of how everything works out. The secondary characters and their stories just added to the beauty of this read. Kudos to Ms Andre for another beautiful book.

I really enjoyed this book, and love this spinoff of the Sullivan's series. The chemistry when Liam and Christie's met was instantaneous. Based on some of the factors in their background, theirs wasn't an easy romance. This book was overlaid with a secondary recollection of Liam's grandparents romance. It was delivered slowly throughout the book and was an interesting, tragic story in and of itself and I loved what it added to the main timeline. I highly recommend this book. As always these can be read as a standalone, but the story is a little more enjoyable when you read the series in order. I received an advanced reader copy of this book for an honest review.

Sweet, nothing else describes this love story for me. Christie is so strong to the point of breaking a promise for the man she loves to help him heal from long ago wounds. Liam has held is heart captive for 20 years. Slowly, Christie shows Liam how to love and work toward forgiveness so that he can become the man he is meant to be. Bella paints a beautiful but complicated family dynamic in this story of redemption, healing, and discovery of love. Love the little town of Summer Lake just as much as I love her Sullivan series. Another heartwarming, sweet romance that tugs at your heartstrings and has you rooting for them. Christie and Liam are perfect for each other. Christie wears her heart on her sleeve and says what's on her mind, you can't help but love her. Liam is a no-nonsense man who decided early on that he didn't believe in the fairy tale of happily ever after, but finds himself unable to resist her. I enjoyed seeing their relationship evolve and Liam relaxing for the first time in a long while.

Loved having previous characters return and find out what is happening in their lives.

The second book in the Summer Lake Series proves that no matter how much you fight the chemistry and the notion of love, it will still happen. Christie and Liam had an instant connection, which both of them fought. Christie's history with his brother and Liam's negative opinion and thoughts of love stop them from acting on their feelings. Secrets have negatively impacted their lives and are the cause of their problems. These secrets threaten to tear them apart.
The story has you laughing, crying, gives you chills and even makes you swoon. Another great book from Bella Andre! I can't wait for the next one!!

Five Star all the way. I didn't think Bella Andre could improve on her books but this one covered an array of issues that have affected so many families, creating heartache and and long term relationship problems. I love the way these issues have been handled while still spinning a wonderful romantic tale. Liam and Christie are very engaging characters but I soon developed a soft spot for Grandma Jean and also for Wesley and what he was going through. Love it Bella Andre!

I absolutely adore anything Bella Andre, and each book I read becomes my new favorite. Christie is such a strong woman who every one can identify with. She's looking for love and finds people that just don't quite measure up. Liam is a businessman who has been dealt a crappy hand in life with family and when those two meet, sparks fly. I love the story and the support they offer each other and as always, could not put this down. I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone who needs a love story to read.

Oh Bella Andre, you never disappoint. As usual, I got sucked into this beautiful world right away. The main characters Christie and Liam are fantastic and well developed and their love story will sweep you off your feet. Who doesn't like a story that keeps you on your toes with the brother's ex-fiance as well as secrets that might ruin everything? It certainly makes you want to devour this story in one sitting so you can breathe again.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Some families harbor secrets that have been kept for years. Christie is engaged to her good friend Wesley who is keeping a secret and eventually they break up. Liam, Wesley's brother comes back to Summer Lake for the wedding that isn't going to happen. He is also keeping a secret that has kept him from accepting love his entire life. When Liam begins to help Christie run the inn his feelings for Christie begins to change. She of course has fallen for his good looks and caring personality. This book is a happily ever after with twists and turns involving emotions and secrets. This book is part of a continuing series which I love. Bella's gifted this to me for my review but it was on my list to read as I read all her books!

This book was fantastic. Bella Andre wrote a story that had me hooked from the beginning and had me wishing Liam could be mine. Christie is someone we can all look up to because of how honest she is. She was also willing to sacrifice herself to help Liam heal old wounds. Their love, while bumpy at times, is one I aspire to one day. This is a must read and I can't wait for more from this series.

Liam is shocked that the wedding was called off. Christie is shocked that Liam is there. Sparks start flying! So many twists and turns. Very good series! I honestly don't know how I survived without Bella Andre's beautiful romances. Hopefully I will never have to find out. I absolutely adore the Sullivan and refuse to pick a favorite. This devotion to the Sullivans had me leery of a spin-off of the New York Sullivans. I knew that Summer Lake was special to them, but was it special enough for its own series??? Yes, yes it is!!!!!!!!!

Not only is Summer Lake special, but it has definitely earned a spin off series. If anyone deserves one of Bella Andre's "Happily Ever After" it is Christie Hayden. She arrived in Summer Lake to help her best friend, Wesley Kane, with the Inn. Everything was comfortable with Wesley and Christie. There were no sparks, but there was a lot of "I am marrying my best friend". There were no kisses but there were pecks on the cheeks. Not all besties make the best lovers. Darkness cover secrets, regrets, reality. In the light of day Christie is left in charge of the Inn and cleaning up Wesley's mess. Wesley is gone without a trace.

Liam Kane arrives back in Summer Lake after 20 years to witness is brother marry Christie. What he witnesses is a chemistry he didn't know possible. What he felt were sparks that he always avoided. He will not love. He will not care. He will not feel. If only he were that strong. Now he has to find the strength to deal with the past, promises that should not have been asked, and accept not only his brother's disappearance but the reason for it.

I have yet to figure out how Bella Andre always has me feeling so many things. I have never been know to be a touchy feely person. Bella Andre just brings everything to the surface for me. I want to be the protector. I want to be the strong shoulder. I want to reach within the pages and knock some sense into some people. I want to look a certain person in the eyes and tell her what I think of the psychological abuse she inflicted on her own child out because of her own selfishness. Burying your head in the sand doesn't not work. Sand blows away, revealing raw emotions that can destroy. The past cannot be denied.

Lucky for me, after being emotional drained, I am rewarded with great endings and hope for a better tomorrow.

Keeping secrets is hard, telling them to help a loved one is harder. Christie Hayden agrees to keep her ex-fiance's secret in order give him time to reconcile his feelings. When he leaves her to face the town after their breakup, Christie is forced to deal with the pointed looks and stares on her own. When Wesley's brother, Liam, shows up for the wedding Christie must give him the news. Immediately drawn to Liam, even before knowing who he is, Christie tries her best to keep him at arm's length.

Liam knows it's wrong to become involved with Christie because a) she's his brother's ex, b) she's technically Liam's employee and c) he is incapable of having feelings for her. Even though he lays out all his reasons not getting involved isn't an option either. When he finally tells her the secret that he's held for 20 years, it frees him. But, he insists she keep his secret. Christie realizes she can't do it and breaks her promise even though she realizes their love will suffer and they may be end because of it.

What a great book that keeps you reading and waiting to see what will happen next. In this book you get trust, faith, and love. You just don't know when it will happen and to who. Can't wait for the next book. The Sullivan series is great.

WOW!!!!! Secrets can be very harmful that can contaminate hearts; minds and souls. Weaving the storyline that encircled 3 generations with intensely intriguing circumstances that made a remarkable twisted love story. The characters were awesome and with intricate make-up that I loved completely.

Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You is a great love story. This book draws its readers in from the beginning of the book with the plot. It has numerous unexpected twists in the story line that keeps the reader interested in what is to come next. The love and the secrets will make this book one that you will not want to put down.
If you enjoyed book one in the series than you are going to love this book just as much or if not more.
I must say that this book was one that I had trouble putting down.
I would recommend this book to all who enjoy a great love story.

Christie loves Summer Lake and has made a home for herself there.

"I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book"

Five Star all the way. I didn't think Bella Andre could improve on her books but this one covered an array of issues that have affected so many families, creating heartache and and long term relationship problems. I love the way these issues have been handled while still spinning a wonderful romantic tale. Liam and Christie are very engaging characters but I soon developed a soft spot for Grandma Jean and also for Wesley and what he was going through. Love it Bella Andre!
