SUSAN SEY has written a contemporary love story with all kinds of twists, turns, and kinks in the plot that makes it almost impossible to put down! I found myself reading into the wee hours of the night, unable to stop because there was a constant anticipation of what was going to happen next.
The characters become well developed, and engage each other in a way that feels like normal life, rather than "romance novel " style. This includes wrong assumptions and surprise twists revealed that make a back story enough to make the characters real.
Mrs. Set, according to the bio at the end of the story, is a VERY real person (messy house and all) and has used her observations of life and love, to create story lines that we can all related to. And characters we can become involved with as they face life's difficulties and triumphs and losses.
Although "TASTE FOR TROUBLE" stars James and Bel, the next story, involving Will and Audrey promises to have fireworks galore!
Congratulations to SUSAN SEY, and I highly recommend this book.

Great characters sprinkle this delightful book. The brothers were as different as cold be and the Heroine was a mixture of minx and mischief, purity and compassion. Yet she had spunk. A bite predictable, but so are most romances. Good twists, and turns. A worthwhile read

I really enjoyed this. It was both funny and heartwarming. The writing and pacing were excellent and I had a hard time putting the book down for bed. My only gripe is that we didn't get to see more into the future but obviously we get that in book two. Very nice job!

A romance with real characters with believable personalities, problems and solutions. And a REAL definition of family.

Yes, please.

I got the first one of this trilogy free and will be purchasing the rest of the trilogy. Only complaint? It could have been longer.

Please keep writing at this level!

I enjoyed this first book in the Blake Brothers trilogy. The characters development and behaviors were based, as in real life, on their backgrounds and what they'd been through.

I'm off to buy the next one in this series and see how Will gets his act together.

I really enjoyed this book--read the whole thing in one afternoon! Can't remember the last time I did that. It was sweet without being sappy. Susan Sey's strength is in character development. She's great at writing characters the reader can love, or hate, or feel sorry for. That's what sucked me in. I cannot wait to buy the next installment of the trilogy as soon as it comes out.

The conversations drove me crazy. They were supposed to be cute, witty, etc but didn't flow well enough to work that way. They were more confusing and choppy. It was an ok story. I finished it and wasn't upset I had read it, but it wasn't great.

I had high expectations of this book based on the summary and unfortunately it didn't deliver. I did finish it but I found it long and drawn out, and I normally love longer novels. The writing style was a bit too flower-y for a contemporary novel. I prefer smart, quick witted conversations that leave me smiling but this had a lot of drawn out character introspection that I had to re-read to understand what they were saying. The damaged nature of the heroine I could not relate to and the romance between her and James did not draw me in. It felt as though there were more negative moments than positive moments and the other characters were less than endearing, which dragged the book down further. With an ending to set up the next book, I won't be reading the next story as this authors writing is just not my style.

Very well written. Couldn't put the book down. Loved the story line and characters. Each person in the story was explored and developed. It made me invested and emotionally connected.I will invest in the authors other book and looking forward to the next in the series.

Great book. Story very cute and enjoyed every minute of the book...also made me hungry because of all the food the main character was always cooking ?. But overall no complaints and it's a good to read either on a plane ride or while poolside all day or even at the beach.

From the start Susan grabs your interest and doesn't let go. The story plays out in a way that you get involved. Her cast shows that real family love can help you through any trial. Lots of laughs and even some tears. Just what a true romance book holds. Thanks!

The story starts off and gains speed to the end. Not once did I skim my way through. The brothers in their glory fit so well into this story. One for all, and all for one is the saying that gets James into some fine messes. Luckily for him, Belinda/Bel is there to help him wade his way through them. The chemistry there is refreshing and the story is told so well I didn't notice there was so few scenes with sex in them. Erotica this is not. Sweet sexy story about two people finding their way towards one another this is. Add two brothers, an agent, an aging diva and two young women who find themselves pulled into the fold and you have a taste for trouble. 4.5 stars!!
