I have loved this series, so far, reading without narration....the old fashioned way, lol. I thought I would purchase the narrated version so that I could listen to it while I go about my day, but after trying to listen to it for just three pages, I had to cancel the order. The narrator's voice was so monotone, I kept tuning out. I re-listed to it three times, or tried to, but I just couldn't focus on the actual story because of the lack of variation of tone. I have enjoyed audible books in the past, but I will not be purchasing any others voiced by this particular narrator.

Blood Father is the epic story of the Blood Curse Series. 480 years have gone by since the Silvasi brothers experienced tragedy like no other, losing both their beloved parents to the Lycans, the vampires biggest enemies. Not until Saber enters the house of Jadon does the most important information the SIlvasi brothers will ever hear come to light, that their father was taken prisoner by the Lycans 480 years ago…Coming together for the most epic mission in their lives, the Silvasi brothers must muster the strength and courage to try to rescue their father. Filled with chaos, emotion, love, and of course a blood moon, Blood father takes you into the soul of Kagen, the master healer who has been a mystery to us all, the bond of a family, giving you a much needed in-depth look at the dynamics of the Silvasi brothers connection, and into the life of a slave turned warrior, a woman whose courage and heart has stolen the love of a father she never thought she could have. Tessa Dawn once again straps you into an emotional rollercoaster, taking you loop for loop through heart ache, pain, fear, and joy that could only be deserving of the purest souls. This page turning novel will have you wanting to laugh, cry, and even put the book down, which I had to do countless times, just to remember to breathe while riding along with the Silvasi borthes through the most critical, dangerous, and rewarding mission of their lives.

Tessa has done it again. This book is an excellent addition to the Blood Curse series. As soon as I started reading I couldnt put this book down. This series just consumes me while reading. I was aniticipating Kagens story and couldnt wait to see who his destiny was. I think she picked the perfect destiny for him. I think Kagen and Arielle are a perfect match and I enjoyed watching thier story unfold. At times I found myself laughing and crying. I couldnt stop laughing about Narcarhi and the spiders, in fact i still find myself giggling. I never thought we would see the day when thier father returned. The end of this book was the most touching I have probably ever read. What a fantastic book and I cant wait to see whats next. If you have read all the others, make sure you pick up this one as well. You defintley will not be dissapointed.

Tessa Dawn is positively brilliant with her freshly unique take on vampire lore. This book is a page turner from start to finish. You can't help but fall in love with the sexy Silvasi brothers. These fierce warriors will go to amazing lengths for the people they love. I could not put this book down. I was completely captivated following the brothers journey to retrieve the lost and make the fractured master healer Kagen Silvasi whole again . This entire series is a must read with sexy alpha male vampires, a blood curse, epic battles, destined mates and true love.

I enjoyed this book. I liked every aspect, Ms Dawn brought a whole lot elements and character moments from previous books into this one and yet waved a new tale. I hope she does a follow up with the Silivasi family whether that is in novella form or a book. While her books always have a dark element that can be rough if you are not used to it, if you are aware its easy to deal with. The dynamic between the brothers and the explanation for the main character and his "flaw" was handled well. She also did a really great job with main female character. I recommend this book. I'm not one of those who latches on to an author and gives them praise for every book. Authors can miss sometimes even when they don't mean to, Ms Dawn didn't miss. Kudos.

If you haven't read this series you are seriously missing out! The Silivasi Brothers are back and in a BIG way!! Secrets will be revealed as the brothers go in search for their missing father in the Mhier, the homeland of the werewolves. You get to see a side of the brothers you haven't had a chance to meet so far in the series. Learn Kagen's deep secret, which only made me love him even more!
I can't urge you enough to read these books. I swear with each book there is no way they can get any better but they do. Tessa Dawn always finds a way to keep the story moving, keeping the characters evolving but never losing the reasons we've fallen in love with them. I can not wait for the next book! I hope there will be many many more to this series!

Love, Love, Love this writer. Have not read this one yet, however, have read all other books in this series. As an extreme and ultra sensitive empath and reader, this storylines and characters hit home for me. As always, being a reader, empath and healer, I have true appreciation for what is shared in these books.
