I really enjoyed this one a lot. It probably has to be my favorite in the Four series, only because this one talks about meeting Tris and some events that happen in the Divergent book but now come to light. The tension he has with Eric, the struggle to admit his feelings for Tris, the struggle with the decision to tell Abnegation about the upcoming struggle; I mean there is so much that Four has to go through and that is why I enjoy reading about him overcoming his struggles, that I can relate to. The Four series was amazing and really cool to get into the mind of a different character from the Divergent series. I recommend this book for anyone who likes the Divergent book series, they will love the Four series. It will bring the world of Divergent into a whole new light, from the eye's of Four. Enjoy!

I really enjoy all of Roth's books. This one explains just exactly what and how things are falling into place. Four is putting things together and trying to protect what is his. Not knowing what is right or wrong or how to go about it he is slowly finding out what "they" are up to and falling in love.

I love being in Four's mind and hearing his thoughts..I just wish the books were longer...I get so wrapped up and wanna read more... I love this story....I could read all these books over and over and not get bored :)

I absolutely loved this book. So much so that I wish they didn't cut it short. I wish the could have made the book longer because I loved it. They did end off too short in my opinion. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this to some one who enjoyed the double perspective of Allegiant. I LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH!!

All the Four stories are great because they give awesome insight into Four's life and what he's about.
This book in particular shows a side of Four who is more confident, yet still unsure or, better, unwilling to conform.

This novella in particular gave me a good look into the mind of the mysterious Four/Tobias. I would recommend this book to any Divergent reader. My only wish is that it would've gone through the whole Divergent story line, but the it wouldn't be called a novella. It was flat out amazing.

It was a good book and I loved seeing Four fall in love with Tris in that shy Abnegation way, but I wish it had gone on longer. If it covered the entire Divergant book from Four's pov, I would have loved it so much more.

This was a weak ending to the series, I felt. (I guess that should not surprise me, considering the end to Allegiant.) It was basically a retelling of Tris's initiation story from Four's point of view; we have heard this story before. The only interesting part was seeing that he knew about the simulation attack before it happened; the rest was boring.

I loved the series BUT this just seemed like a rehash of everything I read in the previous books. I kind of felt like the writer stole my $2.99. This isn't the first time I have been disappointed by the books the store put out but I am getting tired of this. I n at ditch my kindle for an iPad soon....sigh, and I OVED my kindle (I h ave two if then). But am sick of the rip offs. Buy the bothered, but don't waste your $$ on this one.

It was great to read about Four, but it made me want a different ending to Allegiant even more than when I first read Allegiant. If you liked the Divergent series, or if Four was your favorite character you should enjoy this book. The price is a bummer.

The whole Four "series" was an interesting twist on point of view but a BIG RIP OFF as I feel they should have been published as one whole book and not 2 chapters each. Veronica, reconsider who/how your books are published, it will lose you readers if this continues....

This was amazing. I always wondered what it would be like to see inside fours (Tobias) mind and this did the trick. 4 stars because I feel that the author should have put more encounters with tris in the book and that the author should have exposed fours feelings about tris a bit more but over it was amazing. I can't wait for more books about four to come out soon!!

I liked the divergent sieries, exept alliegent.four is supposed to be strong, sensitive but tough, romantic and caring, but since I have read this book I know that he is just a coward.his personality is flat.he basically hates everyone exept tris.there is nothing new to see in this book it is just a review of a different persons view of divergent (duh),exept it is a short book. The summary says each book of the four sieries is 50 to 75 pages long, but they are liars because the first book is no more than 30 pages long!do not waste your money on this book,it is just divergent all over again!

The final installment of the Four stories overlaps with the beginnings of Divergent. Having seemingly settled into a role within the Dauntless faction, Tobias has never let his guard down, especially when it comes to faction leadership. And these suspicions lead him to uncover a plan that both shocks and worries him, while he has little time to decide how to react...
This one was interesting because it's the only one of the stories that overlaps with one of the original books. It provides for a more complete story and knowing what Tobias knew makes me want to go back and re-read the first book to see if there are any hints in the text. But, that aside, this is a fitting end to the series and a great way to tie these back into the trilogy itself. It feels a bit rushed at a couple of points, but I think that's because a knowledge of the series is assumed, so there is no need to expand on the information that one should already know.

This conclusion of the Four short stories really walk the reader through some of the same stolen moments with Tris from Divergent. However, it is from Four's point of view. It reveals how Four came to rescue Tris while she was being attacked and his view of both their fear landscapes. It also reveals how Four found out about the attack prior to it happening and how he could not count on the factionless/his mom for support, while his father did not even believe the attack was going to happen although he was suspicious if Max. I really enjoyed reading Four's perspective of some of the more emotional interactions between him and Tris. I suggest that you read Free Four before reading this because that was also a scene from Divergent in Four's pov, but it takes place before the events in this text. This story focuses on Tobias truly becoming brave as he watched the strength and courage of Tris

Out of all of the novellas, this is my favourite. Although this series did dampen my love of Four. I thought it was stupid how he knew everything and did hardly anything to prevent it.
I was very annoyed at how he rejected leadership because he didn't want to be a pawn, yet he was too shortsighted to realize that he was still a pawn working in the control room, just one without power...really didn't understand his thought process.
Overall though, this was a fun and worthwhile read but I would suggest picking this up from your library rather than buying.4/5

This is only a section of the full book. They took the full book of "Four" and split it into four books. Save your money and get the one book. Did they just think it was funny to split a book called Four into 4 parts or do they think we are just stupid enough not to catch on. Judgeing by the reviews, we are that stupid. P.S. if you were duped, you can return the partial book like I did.

These small books capitalizes on the book. It follows the main story but gives you more insight into what Four is thinking. In the main books he comes across as a much stronger alpha tough character. In this book he seems more weak... not the Four I wanted. I loved the Divergent Series and want to buy the movie... but I don't think I will buy anymore of these little books. But, I could ...lol I really liked Four in the series.

the author retold the Divergent story from a different point of view. The reader already knows the plot and has endured the insecurities of the heroine and now the author takes on the huge task of getting the reader to degrade the hero status of "Four" and to accept that he has character flaws and insecurities. I really liked "Four" much better as the protector and convert to the rebellion.

Four: The Traitor (book 4) is a very well written novella with interesting well developed characters. The story line is fast moving with lots of twist and turns with an unexpected conclusion. I would recommend this series too anyone looking enjoys well written novels. Enjoy reading

Reading Divergent first is definitely a must before this book. Here we follow Four's story as he meets and gets to know and trust Tris. As he continues in his quest to understand what Max and Jeannine are planning, he meets up with old rivals and confronts fears.

This book gives you Four's view point of the first part of Divergent. Some reviews didn't like reading about things they had read in Divergent, but I like to see different view points of characters. It gives me a better picture of the whole story, I liked this book.
