This is a very enjoyable series so far. Time travel mixed with magic, druids and vampires, it is a very interesting combination. The main characters are well written, and keep on growing as the series continues with book two. There is action, adventure and suspense, you'll keep turning pages until the end. I'm looking forward book three.

Wow Hazel Hunter did it again with this amazing read. It has everything you need including Romans as the undead and immortal highlanders. It’s a gripping read with some sadness and laughter with some hotness as well. I loved the characters and a great storyline. Great series to have. I was given this book as an arc for a honest review.

I love a well written time travel romance, and Tharaen and Diana's story was amazing. The scenes were vivid with detail, and the story and romance were engaging and interesting. I loved Diana portrayed as a tough, well put together lieutenant. Tharaen was a strong, alpha male through and through. Their chemistry was undeniable and hot!
The Bounty Hunter (Redbourne Series #2 - Rafe's Story) :: Renegade Magic (Legacy Series Book 3) :: The Master Sniper :: A Demons of Fire and Night Novel (The Vampire's Mage Series Book 1) :: A Dylan Hunter Justice Thriller (Dylan Hunter Thrillers Book 2)

These are very fun books that cross historical, paranormal, and time travel generas. I highly recommend them.
They are filled with dynamic characters and clever plot twists. I particularly enjoy books with strong, intelligent woman that would respect in real life.
If you enjoy the things I listed then you will love this series.

This is an excellent book on two levels. Without the sex scenario, excellent teen novel and with it very good adult book. strong characters for good and evil, excellent paths of right and wrong. Moves quickly. Well written and thought-out.

Hazel just keeps writing better and better stories for her readers. Her books immerse us in a fantasy of valor, honor, courage, magic and faith in destiny. I am loving every second I am absorbed in these pages with these amazing characters. I can’t wait to see what’s next. This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy

I have read Lachlan & Raen & love everything about the books from the time travel back & forth, the relationship between the clan & druids, the wonderful Scottish brogue, the description of the landscape & all the magic! There are so many elements to these books to enjoy. You gotta read them! Can't wait for Evander' s story.

I loved this book. The story is highly entertaining and action packed. Hazel Hunter has a way of weaving a storyline that keeps you reading until you reach the end and even then, you don't want it to be over. I highly recommend this book and all the others in the series, especially if they are all as good as the first two.

I did like the first book better, but still couldn't put this one down. Diana is selfless and noble and fits well into the clan. By the end of the book, Diana and Raen suit each other well.
This is a paranormal time-traveling romance with a whole lot of mystery and some kick-ass ladies. What's not to love?

Another great series by Hazel Hunter. Tharaen is the second book in the series and is well-written, with a great storyline and amazing, sexy characters. The series so far is my favorite since each book can be read as standalone, no cheating and HEA. I voluntarily received an arc and this is my honest review.

I'm enjoying this time travel series very much. I think I like this second book even more than the first. I shed a few tears in this book too, even though I suspected where the story was going. I'm looking forward to reading the next in the series.

An exciting and adventurous time travel romance. Creatively very well written storyline allows the characters to come to life through out each chapter. As these Immortal Highlanders develop with each book you will still find yourself wanting more.

This story picks up where Lachlan ended and takes us on another high-spirited adventure we will not soon forget. True to Hazel Hunter's form this is a thrilling story filled with myth, magic and mystery as well as a nice dose of erotic romance ... and it is very well done, but this is what we expect from the master of time travel.
As the book begins we are introduced to Lt. Diana Burke of the San Diego Police Department. Her job is locating missing persons and right now she is investigating Capt. Kinley Chandler who disappeared a year ago. She is looking for closure on the Chandler case so she takes a drive out to Horseshoe Canyon where Kinley was last seen. She has a feeling Kinley is alive...she knows it and this "sense" she has is what helps her close cases. While walking the path, she notices something unusual around the location where Kinley disappeared. When she reaches down to touch it, strange things happen and she can't explain what...but one thing is for sure, it does not look like San Diego anymore.
Her journey through time takes her to the shores of Northern Scotland, specifically the Isle of Skye a land inhabited by a clan of immortal outlanders, druids, and the 9th Legion of undead. She has no idea where she is but manages to gain entry to the laird's castle where she is is soon discovered by a Mack Truck on steroids, Tharaen, AKA "Raen". And so the real story begins!
This is a thrilling story that will take your breath away and leave your heart wide open and have your mind wandering all over the place, breathless ... and you will love every minute. Thankfully it is a stand alone story and no cliffhangers and lots of characters who will enchant you and make for a very good story of their own. I am hoping there are more to come : )
I received a reader copy of the book in exchange for an honest review and I was not disappointed, rather rewarded with a tale so well done, I am on my way back to reread it : ) Job very well done.

A portal and presto you're in Medieval Scotland where you find.........Tharaen a Scottish warrior and Seneschal for Laird Lachlan McDonnell, a missing person. magic, hate, war and love.
Diana is a San Diego cop, Missing Persons unit, while investigating the site of a disappearance she falls into a portal and her adventure begins.
The characters are so believable. The plot has surprises. It's fantasy but you forget that and find yourself worrying what will happen next. I even found myself sniffling here and there.
It is a great book, love reading these stories. I look forward to the next book by Ms Hunter as she gets better with every book.
I get books as ARCs, but am honor bond to give an honest review.

Vampires and Highlanders, could you ask for more? Diana is a cop she's in the missing persons unit. She is looking for Kinley Chandler from book one. When she comes upon a portal that takes her back to the 14th century. Raen is everything Diana needs, strong, loving, protective and he is all hers... I fell in love with these characters and look forward to reading more about their fight with the vampires. I recommend that you start with book one as the series is a continuous plot through the books.

Great read. Continuing with the McDonnel Clan, Dianne Burke working on the missing persons case surrounding Kinsley, she stumbles over the same area and ends up in the same time as her. Her story Is just as good as Kinsley’s. Enjoy.
