Kelly Ann Morgan has done it again! Bringing to life a great western romance story and mystery. I couldn't put down the book. I absolutely cannot wait for whatever book she comes out with next. Keep them coming.

Although the first book in the series had a somewhat weak plot with lots of holes, I found I enjoyed reading it because I liked the main characters. I am a little embarassed to admit that I wanted to read more about the family. The Bounty Hunter had potential, but it got bogged down with too many characters and a very convouted and basically stupid plot not to mention the unsatisfying ending. On the whole, it was disappointing. I hope the author gets a good book editor to help her tighten up her story before attempting to write another.

The rushed ending where many of characters either died conveniently or just appeared at the door way (some even came from England) to answer a question was just bizarre. This ending makes the hero look incompetent. Very disappointed!

After reading the first Redbourne series, I was totally hooked and in eager wait for the second. After reading about 45% of the second book, I found myself totally confused about events that were supposed to have taken place in the first book. (Don't remember them so I went back and reread some of the book. Nope still not there.)
P.S. I finished the book and am revising my editorial. It was a good book that came together at the end.

This is the second offering in the clean romance series of the Redbourne family. Rafe Redbourne, who was introduced in the first book of the series, is the hero of this offering. Even though this is the second book in the series it can be read as a stand-alone story. I should note that the Redbourne Series is a debut offering for Kelli Ann Morgan. She captured me as a fan when I read the opening novel of the series. I love how her protagonists subscribe to high moral and ethical standards. Respect for life, even the life of criminals, is paramount. Tayla Hawthorne is kidnapped and her father shot by two ruffians who are working for a villain whose identity is a mystery until the closing scenes of the novel. To complicate matters, Tayla suffers a fall while trying to escape the ruffians, strikes her head, and loses her memory of all past events. She is taken in by a friend of Rafe Redbourne who drops in for a visit while he is escorting one of his bounties back to his home ranch. With the stage now set, we are off to the races. Twists and turns of the story line keep you on your toes as you, in a page turning search, look for what comes next. Almost every time I thought I knew where things were headed, the author blew me away as she went in another direction. Predictability is not a trait of Ms. Morgan’s writing and that really makes the story interesting. Read it! You will be pleased.

Grabbed my attention from the very beginning. I was very intrigued and did not want to stop reading. I read until wee hours of the morning because the suspense just kept going as the plot thickened, and I just had to know what was going to happen next. It has the perfect combination of romance and suspense. When reading I felt as though I was the character Tayla in the book. My heart would race when she was in distress and I got little butterflies in my stomach when she got close to Rafe. I felt I was right there with the Redbourne family and had the perfect image of Rafe and his Cowboy sexiness. YUMMY!! This is a excellent follow up of "The Rancher". They are both very stimulating and remarkably written. I love it when I find a book like this one that I get so engrossed with and enjoy every minute of reading it. I definitely want to read more of this series and even though "the Bounty Hunter" was just released I already am anxiously waiting for more.

I absolutely loved this book! This author is so poetic in her writing. She is such a great story teller and I was engrossed from the get-go. Her attention to detail is amazing and I felt like I was inside this book. I lost many hours of sleep reading this (curse you Rafe ;) I was in love with Cole and now I'm in love with Rafe... Cannot wait to see what other Redborne brother I'll fall in love with next! Well done, Ms. Morgan!

Good story line with lots of wonderful characters. Kept you captivated and feeling as though you were living in the moment with them. Lots of unexpected twists and turns with drama, laughter, sadness and romance.

An interesting storyline, but, there are so many charcters in this book, it's hard to keep track of who is doing what, or who is speaking. I found myself going back and re-reading pages to figure out who the author was talking about. I got it gor free thru Book Bub, there was no money wasted. I wouldn't pay for the book, or the others in the series.

I got so confused at the beginning, I thought at first that Tayla was the one that left him at the altar, then it was said that her sister did, so I'm thinking why is he so mad at Tayla? There was certainly a lot of drama going on in this book and a whole lot of secrets to be revealed. Oh my goodness!!! But once everything came out, ppl flipped it, and things calmed down I really enjoyed it.

I enjoy these books because they are a fast read . It's easy to get lost for a bit in the characters. There are so many. The progression of the story is not as fast as expected. Never the less it's a fun read and made me smile at times!

This was another book by this author that I could not put down. I was caught up in the action and romance through the whole book. There were parts I laughed out loud and my family just stared at me like I had lost it. I even put off house cleaning to finish it. Can't wait to read the other books by this author.

Loved this story with its mystery and danger. Race blames her for her sister not marrying him. She has been kidnapped then had escaped, only to fall, hit her head and developed amnesia. The beginning of a love story!

Another story of great adventure that takes on the life of another brother in the Redbourne series. Well written and stands alone but gives insight to all the brothers of this clan. Good romantic interest. I am looking forward to reading other books in this series.

This book kept changing locations (possibly 8) and introducing a dozen new people each time. Rafe's family alone is around a dozen characters. Just keeping everyone straight and trying to figure out how they fit into the story line you needed a graph. But so many of them didn't mean any thing except to set up another accident needing Rafe's help. The sub story lines didn't have complete beginnings and endings. I kept wondering what happened to this character or that charactor. The constant accidents became annoying. The ending was unrealistic. All these men around and Rafe goes after the bad guy alone?? And the conclusion of the bad guy was not only unrealistic, but dumb.

After reading this second book in the three book series I came away with an appreciation of the Redbourne family. Rafe has the rare quality in Western men that he doesn't kill the bad guy just because it's the easy way out. Kelly Ann Morgan brings out the good and bad traits of the characters, they are very alive!

Loved this story though there were a few places where names were switched. Also Kelli needs to do a little research on horses large horse are 16 -17 hands not 14.
Other than that the story was enjoyable
