Excellent book. Andrew keeps it concise and packed with discussion and examples of core concepts necessary to learning the trade. I first listened to it on Audible and immediately knew I'd want the Kindle version for highlighting and note taking. My second read through on Kindle reinforced those key concepts, and because it wasn't 8,000 pages of theory or self-promotion (like many other similar books) I really got a lot out of it. I felt it was certainly worth the time and investment, and I would definitely recommend this book to others and also suggest checking out his website, youtube channel, and growing community of traders!

Well written with lots of practical illustrations and examples. Easy to read too. Would recommend to a trader that has some understanding some basic trading knowledge but still excellent for all levels. One of the best books I've read on trading.

I have never been so happy with how an introduction book was written. Andrew very clearly spells out risks in day trading and is not shy of telling you that you will lose money at first due to substantial learning curves. It is that blunt honesty that continues through out every sentence of the book that weeds out people looking for a get rich quick scheme. The book quickly will then align with people who are truly looking for an education. The strategies are well written and graphs provide an excellent learning opportunity for even the most financially illiterate people.

Get a highlighter ready when reading this book as there are many areas that one should right notes down and highlight important sections.

Great book. Great Author. Honest Message.

Would have liked to have seen more information on starting points such as good free scanners, good free simulation software and a bit more of a step by step on the trading process. The rules and strategies are great and very good information but from a beginners standpoint, I was left wanting some good tools to start using in order to get my foot in the door. Tools approved by the expert author and not just a reference to the trading community chat room. I know this information can be found elsewhere; I just feel like it would have really added value to this book. I also do think some time needs to be taken to explain some technical jargon in a very concise manner rather than saying "you can google search that." I found that made some points "lost" on me even though I am a very active reader who highlights, annotates, and does google searches on things I don't know. I do think that even if it extended the book a few pages it would bring great value.

This book is a great introduction to day trading. The style is very engaging and upfront and honest. It deals a lot with psychology and strategies and learning what you need to know about the market. I loved it and I’m going to read it again.

I liked his simple and graspable explanations. Straightforward and on task, no needless meandering. He has a educational program and chat room he promotes but surprisingly without assumption or annoyance.

Once or twice I couldn’t calculate his examples, maybe because I’m unfamiliar with some trading fees. For example, I’d calculate from his example of a trade that he should have made $800 but he claimed he only made $650. I guess there are broker fees and commissions I’m not aware of. Nonetheless solid education.

I will definitely read his advanced book.

This book was recommended to me by a colleague. The information provided is great for beginners looking to understand the basics of day trading prior to investing a large amount of money. Andrew’s example of comparing day trading to operating a professional business is a perfect example to assist beginners in understanding the ups and downs involved with day trading. The book identifies the proper equipment, tools, and education required to make day trading a profitable career. Andrew’s ability to communicate complex information in a simple to understand format is exceptional.

Great book! Easy to read and understand. Andrew tells it like it is and doesn't sugarcoat the positives and negatives of day trading. "Becoming a consistently profitable trader could turn out to be the hardest thing you will ever do. The intensive training process that you must follow takes eight to twelve months and requires much hard work." The text provides a great foundation and gives you the tools to start recognizing patterns and develop your own trading strategies. I recommend this book for readers of all experience levels. Enjoy and happy trading!

The author is really passionate about day trading. He explains his method in great detail with very practical information. It is a great book for those beginning in day trading. He clarifies many points as he writes in easy non-jargon writing. He does not promise an overnight success. He approaches day trading as any other high skilled job - so the interested has to learn, dedicate to become good at it. I was a bit disappointed to realize that the author does not trade with millions - he is very cautious about it and it seems to always keep a trading size position within a very rigid and limited amount. All in all I think the book is great and serves as a very good reference.

In his book, Andrew gives very practical investing advice based on his experience as an active day trader. His explanations are easy to understand.

He doesn't overwhelm you with a bunch of confusing information. I highly recommend.

Really amazing book! It gave me a great fundamental theory to start my learning on Day Trading. The author doesn't make any non-sense promise and it is very clear about how hard is to learn and how much time you need to spend learning before making any amount of money.
I am also subscribing the author's website to continue my learning on simulators and live classes.

Great book for beginners, I am starting out with a small account so I also need to read about swing trading so I don't use up my 3 weekly trades available. Great advice on the mindset needed to become successful. You will not become a professional day trader after reading this book but it does give you a good foundation to start learning and understanding strategies. It is well written and is good for anyone who is serious about trading and not looking for a get rich quick fix.

While it’s not the type of trading or investing strategy that suits me I found it very interesting to learn about the different strategies the author uses and some of the philosophy that makes day traders tick.

I was half expecting either an infomercial type script where I really would not learn much without another level of spending or something too complicated for a rank beginner. Happily this book gave me a ton of useful, understandable information and what I need to know to evaluate whether to move forward in day trading. The book is very honest about what is required for success. I learned a lot of new terminology, concepts and principles and was not bored at all. If you are curious about day trading you can nit go wrong in reading this book.

This book is a great start for anyone looking into getting into day trading. All of the strategies that are talked about in the book should be clear for beginners. Andrew goes over a lot of the basics like how to read a candlestick before getting into the specific strategies. Along with that, he also goes over how to prepare for the trading day, and how to always have a plan every day. Trading is not just reading charts, but also risk management. I have read investment books in the past, but this was my first book on day trading and all of the information was clear and concise.

Mr. Aziz provides an excellent primer on both the theoretical and practical aspects of day trading, sharing throughout the book, not only his set-ups, but his pre-market routine as well. Novices should find this particularly useful. Additionally, he invites the reader to join him in his live trading chatroom to observe his methods in practical application.

Andrew Aziz is a great trader, author, and teacher. It is awesome to see someone who sticks to his strategy day after day. I purchased his book and joined his chat (oh his website) before the book arrived.

I have heard of chat communities were the guru trades small shares, but that is not the case here. Andrew prefers larger volume and you will see that it pays off very well for him and his community.

Overall the book is easy and enjoyable to read. I think it funnels you down the right path to not only making money, but also enjoying the process.

Andrew really breaks down the psychology needed to be a day trader. He gives the reader a good look into the discipline needed to be successful. He also has filled this book with very useful, actionable, trading ideas and strategies for each individual to try for themselves. Honestly most people should read this book and then decide NOT to pursue a career in trading because Andrew doesn't pull any punches. It is brutally honest - and while he does mention his trading group it is NOT an advertisement to sell more products... it really is there to help the reader decide whether or not to day trade.

Very good and enjoyable. Concise enough but also meaty enough. Written by a true trader who earns his living trading, unlike many other books on the subject. Very practical. Helps set realistic expectations for opportunities and challenges of trading. Includes useful and actionable strategies. Highly recommend this book as a good place to start in learning how to day trade. I wish I had not wasted time on many other books before this one.

After being around the block, I find Andrew’s style and content very trustworthy. I did join his service and chat room after reading his book and have found it to have tremendously improved my learning curve. Andrew does not pitch any snake oil and is very honest about the profession. His book is a good “preview” and starting point as an introduction for anyone contemplating this exciting profession. I would without a second thought recommend this book to anyone to read before committing and time, money, blood or tears to trading.

Andrew writes a very through, concrete path to success in day trading. He isn't trying to sell you a fool proof one-size-fit-all magic pill but instead a mindset and approach that will lead to success and discipline. I would recommend anyone read this book before trading real $, you will find Andrew accurately describes the real practice, motivation, and hard work it wil ltake to begin day trading the right way.

Well, this book will definitly help with that. I'd say that the best description of this book is more of road map . It will give you plan on how to get where you want be but it wont get you there on it's own ,your hard work will need to make the difference. So if you been thinking about trading for a while this is definitely worth a read and even just to get your mind around the subject an see if it right for you.

Very honest book about a very risky business. Andrew takes a real approach to day trading, advising that individuals who want to take the endeavor consider the venture as a new business and take time and thought as to their approach. In doing this he explains what is needed and what one's expectations should be in first starting out. I greatly appreciated his advice and constant reminder through the book that day trading is about risk management.

The author not only explains day trading but also the preparation and work that go into it in order to be successful. I recommend this book to anyone who is considering this as a career move.

I particularly liked the technical aspects to various strategies and how to use the indicators to your advantage. Being such a quick read, I would recommend it for any trader of any level of experience whether you are just now being introduced to trading or already day trading and comparing strategies.

Here's a book that delivers exactly what the title suggests. Clear, concise, honest, and expert. After reading this book, you will not be able to begin immediately making money day trading, but you will know how it's done, what it takes, and how to evaluate your own interest and aptitude for it. You will be able to move into it productively and efficiently, if you find yourself drawn to it. I'm impressed with the contents of the book and even more impressed by the author.

Broad, concise, personal, realistic guide for beginners. Andrew nicely balances basics, preparation, techniques and strategies, and personality-based factors in day trading. Not sugar coated but realistic and inviting. I found it an easy read over a few days - breaking when I didn’t feel like “working” further to understand a graph or technical point. You want to soak it in. And definitely read the glossary at the end for review.

After an online Day Trading course and a couple of books later, I came upon this book 'How to Day Trade for a living. This book was the answer I was looking for. The Author has taken great care to make the book really easy to understand and follow.

Prior to reading this book, I had spent some time "investing," but never "day trading." Of course, I've read other books and watched YouTube videos, but never considered seriously day trading until reading this book. The techniques and strategies discussed appeal to me as a rational explanation and anticipation of the daily market. As a lawyer, I appreciate the author's ability to break down complex concepts with simple, step-by-step explanations. I definitely recommend this for anyone thinking of giving day trading a try.

I found this book very honest. The author gives you a lot of tips which is is essential to day trading. For a beginner person who wants to know the business this is a starting point. Also, as the proper Andrew comments, it is important to keep reading, educate yourself, this is something I will do in order to understand how it works this business. If you are a beginner pursuing this path, go for it.

In “How To Day Trade For A Living” Andrew Aziz clearly explains how to day trade in securities; the equipment required to day trade; strategies that can be used to day trade; plus potential profits and losses. Focusing on day trading in stocks, Mr. Aziz succinctly outlines several trading strategies that some traders use to realize potential profits while limiting losses and risks. Novice day traders as well as more experienced traders will find this book a valuable source of down to earth information that is clearly written and without any hype or wild promises of instant riches.

This book is very short and straight to the point. It's very well written and provides you with plenty of information to get you started. Andrew Aziz is an active day trader with tons of knowledge to give. He also has a chat room that you can get access to and ask he questions. The first chapter is my favorite because it kind of punches you in the face and wakes you up by telling what it really takes to be a successful and profitable day trader. A must read for those who want to day trade for a living!

I just finished reading Andrew Aziz's book. "How to Day Trade for a Living". The book is very interesting, it's informative, holds your attention and it's easy to read. It is an excellent source of information for those of us who want to learn the basics of day trading. It will make you think that's for sure. After reading the book I emailed Andrew with a question regarding his chat room. He responded to my email within the hour. He responded a second time to my reply within an hour also. Needless to say, I was really surprised. Pretty cool! Good read!

Hands down, best trading book I’ve read. The author just seems so honest and down to earth. It feels like he just wants the best for you and your money making career. He cuts through all the noise and puts everything in simple terms. Give it a read, you’ll thank yourself.

The author logically lays out the steps and strategies to become successful. He is realistic: never promising a career of trading for a few hours a week while lounging in a beach hammock and reminding the user that anything short of months of simulator work will prohibit success. I'm excited to try out his trading philosophy.

I like the conciseness and clarity. People do not have time for authors who keeps rambling on over the same concept with made-up examples like too many books seems to do. I would have appreciated a longer list of resources to keep studying. all in all a very good first intro to get a sense of the landscape. four stars.

After 6 months of searching for a mentor and reading several books and watching hundreds of day trading videos, this book inspired the most. Andrew is very specific in his trading strategies and his style of trading was a match to my personality. This is a great read for anyone looking to make a career in day trading. You will get all the basic pros, cons and basic understanding of trading. It’s a “must read” for anyone looking to get started or has already been day trading!

Great book. This was my first book in the process of becoming a Day Trader. I would recommend it. Just remember, that you need to learn one strategy, master it then move onto the next strategy. Also check out Ross Cameron’s book from Warrior Trading, I love his strategy and he explains it very simply too!
