The book was intact, but was separated from the spine which is annoying as your flipping through pages and having to be careful not to have it all come apart...lt was represented as in "very good" condition and I would qualify the content as such, but the book itself was in poor condition.

I purchased the Business Law for a college business class. Although I don't love this text book, I love the information it provided about business law. It covers many areas of business law such as contracts, liability and internet business just to name a few areas. This book was recommend by the college I attended and it was very resourceful. I recommend this book for anyone starting a business or students studying business law or starting a business.

Not meant for hard core law students but for people trying to decipher law as parts of their jobs and lives. This book is for those managers that have to deal with contracts, torts, etc on a daily basis. A beginner's guide to law.

I have read many textbooks, and I rarely find one I enjoy. This, though is very conversational, and the side notes and extras make it easy to not only understand, but also easy to read. A chapter can be done in less than 30 minutes because of the ease. I love how concepts are put into detailed form and then broken down to easier keep in mind and for easy access for notes later.

This is a product that I must recommend to everybody, even if they are not law students.
Contains basic elements about commercial law and the explanations are more than satisfactory.
It helps me a lot in the college, but it is very useful for anybody.

This is a required textbook for my course, and the course material seems fine.
I didn't know what "Student Value Edition" meant, other than I got it at a lower price, which was the point of going online. I was very surprised when opening up the package, that there was NO binding! It is hole punched to indicate that it belongs in a 3-ring binder. I wish that I had known that when I ordered it. I would really have been upset had I not had access to the right size binder to place it in!

The book presents an overview of the issues facing business. A text book for U.O.P. business law class as of this review. It is biased to the left in political view. It promotes the Democrat Party story of racism in America while ignoring the whole history of America's greatness in equality of opportunity. It plays down the Constitution while promoting social change through court rulings. It fails to give conservative or libertarian points of view in law. The made up examples are very simple. The actual examples are also very simple.

There isn't much to say here. I originally rented this book to use in my intro to business law course. However, it is a fairly complex and comprehensive book that goes over the details incredibly well. I ended up deciding to just purchase the book at the end of the rental period.

Bought this for my MBA class. Trying to save money and read on my Surface Pro 3. It isn't supported on it though. So when I go to read it on my Kindle, I find out it behaves more like a PDF than a book. Pages are cut off on the top and bottoms and the print is almost impossible to read. Safe to say I won't be renting digital textbooks again.
