The Lost Planet (Lost Starship Series Book 6)

As much as i enjoyed the characters and concepts explored in this series, i was hoping for some sort of resolution to the story. Six books in and there are now threats greater than the New Men, Strand capture feels like a set-up for his escape and captain maddox is no closer to saving the human race. Around every corner is a new enemy and a new set of challenges that seem to miraculously get solved by luck, newfound technologies and instant deductive reasoning by maddox. Frankly its simply too fatiguing to stay on this ride even if another book shows up which clearly will no ending in sight.
