Vinny is definitely all grown up now!! No longer the boy we met in Worth the Fight, he's now a strong, sexy, alpha male with dimples and tats!

Vinny and Olivia met in high school. This story has moments from the past told in both his and her pov, which I rather enjoyed.

As far as the present goes, there's quite a lot going on. At first I really liked Liv, but as the story progressed, her actions bothered me a bit.
Now, Vinny... he is hot and sexy! He also knows how to "take care" of his woman. I'm cringing saying this and also saying it very quickly hoping you're not paying attention.. but maybe a little too much sex and I sort of skimmed thru some of the sex to get to what happens next!

I liked it, but didn't love it as much as Worth the Fight. Where Nico and Elle's story was funny, sexy and sweet... Vinny and Liv's story is more drama with lots of sex of course.

I'm a little torn on how I feel. My expectations may have just been too high and it just didn't completely blow me away.
Still enjoyed the read, was happy to have more Nico and Elle and will definitely read Jax's story next!

This was a really good story. I felt a connection between the characters, and I enjoyed the intermittent interjection of humor. Unfortunately, I was expecting "With the Fight", and this fell short for me. Still an entertaining read.

A young love gone awry

Liv Michaels didn’t imagine crossing paths with the person who had broken her heart in high school, Vince Stone. Seven years had passed, and she can still feel the same old emotions she had back then. Vinny may still have those amazing blue eyes and that cocky grin on his face - but the rest of him: he’s even sexier.

If she wanted to get the job of her dreams she needed to do one thing: Her job was to interview him. HIM! Vince Stone. The boy who broke her heart, and left without a word. Her first love. But she was determined, and she really wanted to have it. Only that, she didn’t realize he would pursue her, to protect her heart, she needed to be strong enough to say no.

BUT VINCE STONE CAN BE VERY CONVINCING.

Vinny already caught my attention when he was a thirteen year old boy wanting to be trained by Nico. He was adorable back then, he is HOT & DANGEROUS now. He’s one of the best fighters in town – and it comes with some perks, usually women. He didn’t want to be in a relationship, and suffer the complications of it. He likes women, treats them good, but he never wants to be in love. With the fight of his life coming near, he needed to be more focus on his training.

Then Liv came back into his life. She was all it takes for him to be more inspired, and a little distracted. He once left because he thinks she’s too good for him – but this time, he won’t make the same mistake again. The chemistry is still there, so is the attraction. He will fight his way into her heart, even if it means, fighting her for it.

Sorry Nico – but I think I love Vince MORE!!!!

I loved watching them dance around their feelings. Liv always backing up, and him always coming forward – but in the end, Liv was no match for him. He wore her out. But wait – it was too early for an HEA, Just as when everything was in place, and I was enjoying their HOT, STEAMY, SEXY encounters – a twist came along that can make or break not just her career, but their relationship as well. Liv was torn – and watching her wrestling against her choices was hard. Watching Vince walk away was heartbreaking. But in the end, she proved to be really smart when she made the wisest decision ever!!!

I wish I could tell more without giving out spoilers- but I can’t. So I better stop here before I start spilling some details. If you have fell in love with Nico in the first book, make sure to save a space for this man – because by the end of the novel, he will not only invade your dreams, but your heart as well. This is one of my favorite series to date, and just as I finished typing this novel, a sneak peek of the next one in the series arrived via email – omg! Can’t wait for the next fighter!!!!

When we last saw Vince `Vinny' Stone in "Worth The Fight," he was the smart-ass thirteen-year-old kid. He was in a bad place back then getting into fights at school, had a bad home life as his mother was a screw up, and could barely take care of herself let alone Vinny. Nico had taken under his wing, given him a focus, support, and as outlet for his fighting.

Well Vinny Stone is all grown up now, and what a man he has turned into he's a top fighter a force of nature who was without a doubt a sexy, strong, confident sweet, funny, dirty talking alpha male with tattoos who loves to be in control. He loves the women and the woman love him, and yes you guessed it so did I ;)

Liv Michaels smart independent reporter, and the girl from high school whom he loved and left of seven years before, and when fate bring them back together Vinny know he going to make that mistake again. Liv loved Vinny back in high school too, and was left broken hearted when he just left. Seeing him again all her feelings come flooding back, but is more hesitant as she doesn't want to get hurt again.

"I just can't keep my eyes of him...which is why I need to keep far, far away from Vince Stone"

"Trust me about one thing, Liv... whatever is going on between us is going to happen. You can make it as difficult as you want, but we, Liv, are going to happen. Neither one of us can stop it."

I love the storyline it was sexy, funny, and passionate, with some angst and drama thrown in. Told from both points of view; I loved getting inside Vinny and Liv's heads, to get an insight into what they were thinking and feeling. I loved the flashbacks the enable us to see how they met, how their friendship and relationship developed it was really sweet.

"I want you Liv, I wanted you seven years ago, I want you even more now, I need you."

All I'd ever done is ruin things. I didn't want to ruin you.

Liv and Vinny were great character and were great together. The chemistry and the passion that they had for each other is still there, and as a result, there are some hot steamy smoking scenes.

"All you got do is say no, Liv. But, I'm giving you fair warning...if you don't tell me no, I'm going to take you. And then you're mine to do with as I please."

The banter between these two and they made me laugh so many times. It not all smooth sailing there is a few bump in the roads, his mother, a jealous workmate, tough choices, and few misunderstanding added to their drama.

Some great secondary characters loved seeing Nico (swoon) and Elle again, and finding out what had been happening with them. Love the special relationship they have with Vinny, and the fact that they are still big support for him, and Vinny knows Nico will take any crap from him. Loved Liv's roommate Ally she was a scream and summer well I wanted to punch her.

Overall I really love this book. Another great one from Vi Keeland, I love her writing style always engaging from the start, and the charterers she creates (hot alpha men ☺). I was a little anxious towards the end as to how it was going to play out, but it was all-good. I loved that Vi never leaves you with a cliffhanger. I liked the epilogue it was sweet, but I did want more. You know me if your going to give me one then I want it big.

I'm looking forward to the next book in the book "Worth Forgiving" which is Jax's story. We briefly met this one, he's another sexy alpha fighter that I can't wait to meet. I have a feeling that we get more of Vinny and Liv in that one.

Worth The Chance was just what I need after the heavy, and very emotional read of my last book, and a perfect for a quick read on a Sunday afternoon. If you loved Nico, then you are going to definitely going to love Vinny. Nico has taught the boy well. ;)

5 stars

"But I want you, Liv. More. Just damn more. I'm not even sure what that means myself, yet I'm surer of it than anything I've ever been in my entire screwed up life."

`You feel it, I know you do, Kiss me, then tell me I'm wrong."

"I want to promise you I'll slow down, take things slower, but I don't want to start things off on a lie, I'm not sure I can do slow around you, Liv."

"It's been two days and I still can't stop thinking about Liv. She's snuck in my head. I see her every time I close my eyes."

"But that kiss. It was unlike anything I've ever felt in my life. Filled with passion and desire, it made me forget where I was. Who I was. Being near him is dangerous."

I really enjoyed this one. One, because we got to see little Vinny (the young teenager Nico was trying to save in Worth the Fight) all grown up. And two, because Vinny was hard not to love...controlling, dominating fighter with his issues and all.

Liv and Vinny have history. Seven years ago, in high school, she was the brainiac girl who tutored Vinny in English. He always seemed to have a girl on his arm, but soon his attention turned to her. Liv loved Vinny's attention and thought they had something, but he walked away and broke her heart. So imagine her surprise when she discovers her assignment from the newspaper she's interning at is to interview a hot MMA star...Vince. They do a good job of reconnecting, but then Vince's past plays it hand and causes the two of them to fight for their relationship.

I loved Liv. There was just something about the bookworm, wallflower type getting the hot, alpha male everyone else wants that made me happy. She struggled with her feelings for Vinny, because she was so afraid she was going to get her heart broken again, but she threw caution to the wind because being with Vinny made her happy. And then you felt badly for her when she was put in the ugly position to write the story about the Senator that was going to hurt Vinny so badly. Her emotions, her turmoil leapt off the pages at you and made you want to put your arms around her and tell her it's going to to be ok.

Vinny was everything you'd want a hot, sexy, MMA fighting alpha male to be. He was dominant and could urke the hell out of you, but he had a sweet, protective side that made you want to be the one Vinny stood on guard for. But Vinny had his own set of issues. His drug addict mother continues to cause his life to be one step away from disaster, even when he's trying to keep himself on the straight and narrow. You feel for him and understand why he can't walk away from the only parent he's ever known, but there comes a point when you want him to do just that and think about himself and what he needs.

Vi Keeland is fast becoming one of those authors on my auto-buy list. She creates these wonderful characters that are so easy to connect with...even with all their issues. Couple that with engaging storylines and you find it very hard to put your e-reader down. If you haven't read one of her books before, definitely pick up WORTH THE CHANCE. It's worth your time to take a look.

Vi has outdone herself this time! As much as I liked the first book (Worth the Fight) this one definitely surpassed my expectations and blew that one away. It was so much more intricate-the characters more complex, and the plot's seamlessly woven flashbacks to Liv and Vinny's high school days and dual POV. This isn't your simple bad boy loves good girl that reunite as adults.

Vinny was a troubled teen who had a horribly neglectful, drug addicted mother. He was the quintessential bad boy who was always getting into trouble: fighting, womanizing, and getting bad grades. My heart went out to him seeing what he had to go through at home though and even though he was rough around the edges and hardened, I sympathized with him and wanted him to get his act together. Liv goes to the same school-she's kind of nerdy, wears glasses, is in all advanced classes, and for the most part just likes to keep to herself. She's always in her own head, re-writing tragic love stories with her own improved endings.

When Liv is asked to tutor him in english, she's overwhelmed-she's had a crush on him for years but would never have crossed paths with him otherwise. They are complete opposites all around. From opposite sides of the tracks, and complete opposites in personality. She's sweet, studious, and ambitious. He's angry, a troublemaker, and has no plans for the future past today. Despite all their differences, she can't help but feel completely attracted and pulled to him. She can see what's under the surface and wants to be there for him.
When they're together, she sees his intelligence, his humor, and his sweet side.
They grow a strong bond and he is very protective and gentle with her.

To him, she is unattainable-too good for the likes of him. He feels hopelessly inadequate. As much as he wants to give what they have a shot, he doesn't want to tarnish her or bring her down. He crushes her when he abruptly ends their friendship and skews her views on love and relationships.

7 years later....

Liv is competing for her dream job at the local newspaper. She's assigned to do a story on a local MMA fighter and when she shows up at the self defense class that he teaches, they both get the surprise of their lives. Vinny has channelled all his anger into a successful fighting career and he is as strong, sexy, and confident as ever. Liv has matured into a self-assured, assertive and beautiful woman. She's lost her nerdy glasses and now has long beautiful auburn hair. Vinnie wants to rekindle their friendship but she's still wary of letting her guard down with him. She has to decide, is he worth the chance? If she lets him in again, will he stay this time?

He is one sexy, strong willed, determined man who knows what he wants. And what he wants is Liv back in his life and this time in his bed. All the obstacles that seemed insurmountable in their youth are now inconsequential. He's never had a girlfriend or a serious relationship, but with Liv it's different. She makes him want more.

Spending time together, her feelings are rekindled and she can no longer deny him and the sexual tension that's been simmering. It's off the charts. Their feelings are completely tangible and intoxicating. I absolutely LOVED these two together. I couldn't get enough-surprisingly they were perfectly matched in the bedroom. He was in control. End of story. And a little kinky-spanking restraining her hands.(nothing hardcore) As independent and strong as she is you would think that they would clash, but she finds that she naturally responds to his assertiveness and control.

As great as their reconnection is, it's not easy and it's not without some ups and downs. He has a championship fight coming up, his drug addicted mother's life is being threatened, and he's struggling with accepting that he's worthy enough for her. Seeing their feelings grow from intensely passionate to tender and loving was so beautiful.

He's never had much good in his life, but Liv is everything he never knew he needed.

Their trust is fragile, and he gradually lets her in, but she's hiding a secret from him that would ultimately tear them apart. I was so nervous about this, I knew something bad was going to come of it, but the whole time hoping they would resolve things quickly. They took so long to find each other again and worked so hard to build something strong together, but what Liv is hiding is something that would rock his foundations. She doesn't have it in her to tell him what she knows-it would kill him. But it may just destroy things before they really got started. When the fallout comes, they both have to make a sacrifice and it was...amazing! That's all I'm gonna say. I don't want to ruin it. The ending was incredible and everything came together perfectly delivering a much needed HEA.

This is one of my favorite couples in quite a while. They were sexy, sweet, strong individuals but together they understood each other and were willing to do anything to hang on to what they had. They grew so much and were the support that each other needed.

Loved it! So much, I didn't want it to end. I can't wait for everyone to get a hold of this one.

Absolutely love this series by Vi Keenland! What more could you ask for when you got a sexy tattooed fighter? I just could not get enough. Vince “Vinny The Invincible” Stone is an up MMA fighter who has never forgotten his secret high school crush and tutor, Olivia “Liv” Michaels.

“Liv” has always been in love with Vinny but always felt that he was way out of her league.

Things end prematurely for them in high school. Seven years later when Liv turns up in one of Vinny's workout classes that he is instructing the are forced into each other lives.
Vinny will stop at nothing to pick up where they left off in High School.

Things get heated between the two fast. And they realize there feelings are really strong for each other.

But of course when you dealing with a HOT MMA fighter, you cannot go without problems.
Vince has a hard time dealing with his family life and a hard time letting someone in.

This story is amazing, and of course very, very sexy!!!

For you lovers of the Hot MMA fighter's, this is a must read!!!

I love, love, love this book!

Off the bat–I love it when the characters have a history, and Vinny and Liv’s past really worked for me. I love how innocent it all appeared, then finding out there were things simmering beneath the surface on both sides all those years ago.

When they meet up again, I love that it’s Vinnie who is adamant about not letting the second chance they’ve been given slide by. It takes a bit to convince Liv, but once he has her, that’s it for him.

I think the insecurities they had about their relationship were credible. Liv–because of what happened years ago to separate them, and Vinnie because as a major player in the fighting world everyone wants a piece of his celebrity. What makes this even better is that they both understand the other’s insecurities and rather than sweeping them aside, they address them head-on as they come up. The fact that they both had such a mature outlook about their relationship made this book really enjoyable.

The sex scenes in this book were hot as hell! Vinnie and Liv’s chemistry practically leapt off the pages. And let’s just say…Liv wasn’t the only one left panting when all was said and done. LOL

Liv and Vinnie were such sweet characters, and they really brought out the best in each other. I really enjoyed the secondary characters in this book, too. Most of them were Vinnie’s friends, and it really gave you insight into how Vinnie became the man he was.

The pacing of this book was spot on. The relationship had a natural progression where nothing felt forced. I love finding a book that has just the right amount of drama. Drama that actually fits the story and doesn’t seem ‘trumped up’ just to cause meaningless chaos. I felt like everything that happened hear was just bound to happen, and it was wrapped up in a way that really reflected what I’d learned about the characters.

If you’re looking for a sweet, hot read about two people destined to find their way back together, this book is definitely up your alley!

The first time we met Vinny Stonetti was in Worth the Fight, the first book. He was thirteen years old and Nico had taken Vinny under his wing, trying to keep him off the streets and help him make something of himself by training him to be a fighter. It’s years later and Vinny is twenty five. Nico has since retired as a fighter and is training Vinny, who has become a fierce competitor in the MMA known as Vince “The Invincible” Stone in the ring.

Vinny is one sexy fighter - raw, primal, strong, and confident with a dominant side. The women love him and are always coming and going, in and out of his bed. But that’s all they are to him – a good time – never letting them know the true Vinny, never forming ties to them. He has struggled over the years with his mother being a drug addict and his father being dead. Life hasn’t been easy and he’s made some mistakes, fallen a few times. But, with Nico’s tough love and discipline, he’s managed to pick himself back up and become the toughest fighter there is. When he comes face to face with the girl he once cared about, now a woman, from his past, there is no denying the fiery chemistry that still burns between them.

Liv Michaels was Vinny’s tutor in high school and she fell hard for the bad boy but then he broke her heart, leaving her devastated without an explanation. It’s been seven years and Liv has grown into a beautiful, strong, and determined woman, not the mousy, nerdy girl, she used to be in high school. She’s now a writer, competing with another woman for a job at the Daily Sun Times. This job is her dream and the most coveted job in Chicago. She was given an assignment to interview a fighter but didn’t realize the man she was interviewing would be Vinny until she walked into his self-defense class at Nico’s gym. Vinny brings back memories and feelings she managed to tamp down all these years. She can’t ignore how strongly she’s still drawn to him. But Vinny has his work cut out for him in order to keep Liv from keeping her distance. She can try all she wants but staying away from Vinny proves impossible.

Liv forgives Vinny for what happen in high school and gives herself fully to him. Liz is the only woman who has been able to tame Vinny as he goes from a man-whore to being a one woman man with Liz. They form a beautiful and sexy relationship. Their feelings for one another are strong and tangible. They have heart-pounding chemistry. I felt the passion they have for one another with every kiss and every touch and every sensual word.

"I want you, Liv. I wanted you seven years ago. Want you even more now. So much that I can't think about anything else. Need you. All you gotta do is say no, Liv. But, I'm giving you fair warning...if you don't tell me no, I'm going to take you. And then you're mine to do with as I please."

Vinny is intense. I love alpha possessive men and Vinny definitely dominates in the bedroom. He made my girly parts scream. And Liv… I can’t blame her for responding to his commanding presence and… his spankings. *wink*

As strong and passionate as their connection had become, they still have issues to deal with. Vinny is under a lot stress due to his upcoming fight. Plus, his mother’s addiction has gotten her into deep trouble and Vinny is left cleaning up her mess. Liv has been forced to make a choice between Vinny and the job of her dreams. This decision for Liv should be a no-brainer. And I was a bit aggravated she kept her secret from Vinny for so long. When her secret is revealed, in the worse way possible, their relationship is put to the ultimate test. But Liv is redeemable by the end.

Worth the Chance had the right mix of sexy and emotion with an engaging storyline. I love a good second chance love story and love how the story flipped back to the past several times and we were able to see Liz and Vinny in high school together – where it all began. This couple had quite a few ups and down, with its fair share of drama and some angst, but it wasn’t written over-the-top. If you love to read fun and romantic MMA stories with a sexy alpha hero and strong heroine, then the MMA Fighter series should definitely go to the top of your TBR list. These books can be read as a stand-alone but I’ve enjoyed the whole series thus far

5 Vince "The Invinnnnnnciiiiible Stone" Stars!

The Review:
I can't resist a story where the main characters have a history. When childhood friends fall in love and then something separates them only to find each other once again, years later, all grown up and sexy and irresistible to one another. Where their long ago feelings resurface only to realize they never truly went away to begin with. Was Worth the Chance that kind of read? Yup! Did I absolutely love it? Definitely!

Characters/Story...
We met Vinny in book one, Worth the Fight as a smart ass kid who the hero, Nico, takes under his wings, introduces him to the MMA Fighting world, all in an effort to give him something constructive to do with the crappy hand life has dealt him. Vinny is all grown up now and is training for his first real MMA fight. He's a bit arrogant and full of himself and his present is filled with one night stands, no emotional connections and a lot of partying. But he's never forgotten the one girl that still invades his thoughts from time to time.

Liv is trying to fulfill her dream of becoming a journalist. When she's told to get a story on an MMA fighter, she visits the gym where he works at only to discover the boy who broke her heart years ago is now the man she needs a story from.. and he's all grown up and sexy as hell!

These two... wow, words fail me. I loved Vinny! He was definitely no longer a boy but a tempting, take-charge alpha male who likes to dominate everything, including in the bedroom. Just as Liv couldn't resist him, I couldn't help but fall in love with his charm and snark. I could have easily fallen at his feet and done whatever he wanted me to do. The man was yummy!

But more than just steamy sex scenes and hot alpha action, this book had a fantastic story. These two had history and the author takes us on flashbacks that are sweet and beautiful and you get a full sense of what these two should have been years ago, if Vinny had of felt more secure of himself.

Their present is one of reconnection, learning the other as well as themselves but they also have a huge hurdle to overcome before they reach their HEA.

Liv was a great heroine, even though I wanted her to tell Vinny about the story right from the start. She was strong and independent. And "the bitch slap heard around the world" was long overdue! I actually stood up and cheered for Liv. It. Was. Awesome!

The conflict was very predictable but that didn't take away from the fantastic writing or the perfect romance or the sweet story.

The Wrap Up:
Vi Keeland has fast become one of my favorite authors. She writes intriguing characters with alluring chemistry and stories that will delight any romance reader. Worth the Chance is definitely going in my re-read pile!

Note: Worth the Chance is book two in the MMA Fighter series and is a New Adult, Contemporary Romance written by Vi Keeland. A gifted copy was provided by author in exchange for an honest review through AToMR Tours.

Woohoo! I LOVE fighter romances, and Worth the Chance was a perfect read for me! This is my first time reading Vi Keeland (I know–I really should’ve read Worth the Fight first, but I will now, I swear!), and I had SUCH a great time reading! I loved the writing, and Liv and Vinny are amazing!

Liv and Vinny met back when they were in high school together, with Liv as Vinny’s English tutor. The two of them are so adorable together, but there was always an underlying tension between them. Liv has a huge crush on Vinny, but he broke her heart one day when he abandoned her.

And now seven years, they reunite. Yes, it’s a SECOND CHANCE ROMANCE!! One of my absolute favorite genres! And add the whole fighter thing–perfection. Vi Keeland perfectly captures the hurt Liv still has, the history between Liv and Vinny, and the HOT chemistry they still have. I was totally grinning like a fool when they see each other again. Because they’re hot for each other all over again. And while Liv tries to keep her distance because she doesn’t want to get hurt again, Vinny is a persistent man and won’t let Liv go a second time.

“Guess you have to decide. Is he worth the chance? The chance that maybe if you let him in, he’ll stay this time?”

Liv has some big dilemmas to contemplate. Can she give Vinny a second chance? Or will she have to protect her heart from him? I totally LOVED Liv! She was a great heroine–she’s funny, sweet, and can hold her own against Vinny and his commanding ways. She and Vinny are so great together. They easily fall back into their friendship, but the sexual tension between them now is heightened. I was literally just waiting for them to give in to each other, and when they do, wow, it’s explosive! So, so hot. Vinny the sexy beast is commanding in and out of the bedroom. ;)

And another problem Liv has? She’s a intern/writer at the Daily Sun Times, and the story that can make or break her career is to expose Vinny’s past and hurt him. So… can she do it? Can she give up the chance at love to get the job she’s always wanted? Or will she take that love and tell the job to shove it? You HAVE to read this book to find out! It’s not going to be easy for Liv, but her and Vinny’s story is so freaking gooood.

We get both Vinny and Liv’s POVs, and we get to see them fall in love with each other more and more every day. Vinny is a total alpha–male, but he’s also so sweet to Liv. I was swooning so much at the things Vinny does for her. Just–AH! I love the sweet sides of alpha males, and Vinny is just the sweetest.

I highly, highly recommend Worth the Chance. I loved it! I couldn’t put it down and I didn’t want to end. 4 hearts!

(Quote)"I don't mind working for something important to me."

We met a young Vinny in Worth The Fight. He was thirteen year old boy with a crappy home life that Nico took an interest in and trained him. He needed direction and a positive outlet. and he has become part of Nico and Elle's family.

Now he is an adult and an MMA fighter in his own right. He has made his share of mistakes and is a playboy at best. He has grown into a tatted, sexy, charismatic man with a bit of a rebellious side. His life is all about training, fighting, booze, and women. And then one day he comes face to face with his past. Liv Michaels was Vinny's tutor in high school. She was the sweet little bookworm and he was the dashing, popular, bad boy. She had a huge crush on him. It started out with her tutoring him in English, but ended up with him tutoring her on making out. But it all ended suddenly and a confused Liv was left with a broken heart.

Now over seven years later, she is an intern at a newspaper and she is assigned to do a story on him. She goes into self protection mode and knows it is not a good idea, but Vince is not about to let her go a second time. Even though he has had a checkered past, Liv makes him want to be a better man just like she did in High School. He never felt like he was good enough for a sweet, smart girl like her. But he is determined that he is not going anywhere this time and neither is she.

Their chemistry is still there and they have a great rapport. She is terrified of getting hurt again, but Vince is determined to get his second chance and is not going to take No for an answer. Everything between them seems to just click and she finds it hard to deny him.

"It's you...It's just you. It'as all too much, too fast, and too intense, and it scares me. Scares the hell out of me."

"Trust me about one thing, Liv...whatever is going on between us, it's going to happen. You can make it as difficult as you want, but we, Liv, are going to happen. Neither one of us can stop it."

I liked Vince. He was fun and cocky as a kid, but as an adult he is bossy, possessive, protective, domineering, and a total alpha. He is not afraid to go after what he wants. But there is still a bit of vulnerable little boy wanting love and support under the surface.

Liv is smart, sassy, and caring. She is a hard worker and dedicated to landing her dream job. But it is complicated and she might be getting in over her head. She really wants to protect Vince, but just does not always make good choices when trying to do so. But it is obvious that they have a strong connection and are really good for each other.

"Guess you have to decide. Is he worth the chance? The chance that maybe if you let him in, he'll stay this time?

But when Vince's past comes back to haunt him and Liv ends up in another situation that causes her to keep secrets, it could all come crashing down around them. They are both still insecure and tend to be a bit impulsive. And in trying to protect the other they make mistakes and exhibit ineffective communication. There were times I wanted to slap both of them with my kindle.

Will they fight for it or lose their second chance at love?

I enjoyed getting more with Nico and Elle and even Preach from Worth the Fight. They really are Vinny's family. They are not always easy on him, but they love him. Their interactions are funny and taunting. And it was fun seeing more into their future as a couple. I liked her wild room mate Ally too. And we were introduced to a politician's son who is also a boxer named Jax Knight that is sexy and intriguing in his own right. He will be the subject of the next book Worth Forgiving in July 2014

This was another fast paced, engaging book in this series. It was told in both Vince and Liv's points of view past and present so we got to see their insecurities, how they really did not fully understand the other's feelings, and how they did not always communicate their feelings well. There were multiple background stories with MMA fighting, journalism, family issues, past mistakes, and their shared high school history as well as continuing Nico and Elle's story. It had romance, humor, intrigue, secrets, steam and passion. I really like Vi Keeland's writing style. It flows well, her characters are developed, and she makes you invest in their stories.

Thanks to Vi Keeland for providing me with an arc in exchange for an honest review.

Vi Keeland proved her tasty talent in creating an extreme alpha male with Nico Hunter in Worth the Fight. She is back with a vengeance to tell Vinny’s story and will knock you out with her powerful writing. I was definitely looking forward to meeting Vince again after he was introduced as a teen. I knew his journey was going to be an emotional ride so I was prepared to hold on tight.

The reappearance of the one girl Vince Stone has never forgotten throws him off guard. He has never let the memory of Olivia Michaels fade and now she is all grown up. After all these years apart, Vince’s cocky attitude leads him to believe she has finally decide to seek him out in all his fighting glory. She is there is see him... but for a story she's writing.

Having the dangerous Vinny Stonetti standing before her releases pent up feelings Liv has tried to forget. With one look everything instantly comes rushing back. Now he goes by Vince Stone and uses his aggression to take down opponents in the fighting ring. If possible he's even sexier and she knows if her resolve stands a chance, she must stay far away. Too bad that isn’t an option if she wants a shot at her dream job.

Seven years later, their chemistry still sizzles. He's not letting her get away again but there are rock solid boundaries separating them. Liv and Vinny have secrets that could rip them apart but their potential is worth the chance and risk. When he finally breaks down the last piece if her wall standing between them, the intense passion takes off. They don't waste anytime discovering what they've been missing out on all these years!

Even after deciding to take a second chance, Vinny and Liv are still fighting individual battles. He needs to let her in and trust her with his past. She needs to forgive his mistakes and allow him to prove his feelings for her. In addition, Liv has a huge decision to make and she is very conflicted. She has to choose between the job she has always wanted or the man of her dreams. Liv’s strong personality radiates throughout the pages and offers strength to Vinny when he is running low. I fell in love with this emotionally broken man who has fought so hard his entire life. I am crazy about how the author portrayed their relationship and beautiful journey together.

You’ll definitely be impacted by this stunning story and become a forever fan of this amazing author. Her work deserves all our love and affection!

We met Vince during Worth the Fight as the teenage kid that Nico took under his wing. But Vince is all grown up now. But his story isn’t just about his time in the ring and a certain woman that catches his eye in the crowd. Liv does catch his eye... but she did that seven years ago.

Vince is at the top, he’s struggled to get there and he’s fallen a few times – but with the help of Nico keeping him in line. When he walked away from Liv seven years ago he knew he’d never forget her, but doubted he would ever find her again.

“Trust me about one thing, Liv... whatever is going on between us is going to happen. You can make it as difficult as you want, but we, Liv, are going to happen. Neither one of us can stop it.”

Liv has wanted one thing her entire life, to write. Her dream job with the paper brings her face to face with her past.

Spending her time tutoring him when they were in high school left her falling for the bad boy that she never thought would ever see her. Now as both adults, there is denying the attraction and pull never stopped. But Vince has a lot of work ahead of him to ensure that Liv doesn’t have any time to put distance between each other.

Vince never had an easy life, Nico did what he could to ensure that there was an outlet for his anger and some discipline in his life. But suddenly Liv finds herself in a situation where one of the only things that Vince has had to hold on to for all these years, might just be torn to shreds. Paradise and destruction are both within reach, what road will these two travel down?

I absolutely love Vi Keeland’s books. Typically she produces fantastic romances that don’t fall to major angst or drama to lend to the experience. Although, Worth the Chance threw a few bits of drama in the mix, the story stayed true to her style. Simple romance.

Vince was all about his groupies and the life that fighting laid before him, but he wasn’t blind to what Liv meant to him. Having seen Nico go from man-whore to a one woman man, he understands a bit of what he is feeling. Liv was a likable heroine that you could genuinely feel for. She had tough choices to make and even though she made mistakes along the way, you just couldn’t fault her for them.

I love the theme of a second chance romance and loved seeing them flicker between past and present. Getting to the meat of their early relationship and the circumstances that took them in different directions. But not just that, we were given the clear picture as to the reasons behind Vince’s behavior and made to understand them.

Another great book from Vi Keeland! I am looking forward to Jax’s story with the next installment and can’t wait to see how he and Vince will interact as the next story is told.

A huge thank you to the author for extending yet another opportunity to read & review her book prior to release and for putting Micah Truitt on the cover.
