I’ve read a lot of books written by RR Banks Vale and he has written another excellent book. He is one of my favorite authors.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book. This is one of the best books I've read lately. I can’t wait to read more of his books.

I loved the chemistry between Zoe & Connor.

Really enjoyed the twists and turns in this book. Couldn’t put it down. And, was well written. Conner and Zoe through so many obstacles found their way to HEA. Zoe however at times was annoying because of her lack of a back bone.

When Connor and Zoe meet quite by accident, sparks fly in a very memorable way! This emotional tale has lots of passion, suspense, danger, humor, drama and compelling characters. It's my first time reading an R.R. Banks novel, and definitely won't be my last.

An awesome book. Extremely entertaining, captivating and interesting read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong, intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This is another good story by RR Banks. It's a standalone book with no cliffhangers and a HEA. This story has an intriguing storyline that keeps you interested. I loved the H, he has pulled himself together after rocking and partying to hard and dealing with a huge loss. The h I didn't connect with unfortunately but she did find her inner strength towards the end.

I became addicted to this book. What s wonderful story.

Oh wow, where do I even start with this story. It is going to knock your socks off !!!!!!! This has to be the best ever of R.R. Banks I have read for passion, drama, actions and secrets. Rock star Connor Grigson and Zoe Nichols have had various ups and downs in their lives but some more extreme than others but when they both meet (under very unusual circumstances) it will have you thinking” oh no, oh wow, omg, oh yes ?? . Zoe just wants to be a good lawyer but working with her father and colleague Bryant is just soul destroying. When Connor comes into their lives it starts a chain of events you can never imagine in your wildest imaginations. There is so much to Connor than just being an aging rock star, I wanted him myself. He is talented. Funny, clever , sexy and so much more plus he sets Zoe “free” in more ways than you think. A fantastic story and it made me laugh and a few times tear up. Miss them already.

I have to agreement there could have been LESS SEX, but mostly b/c the sex scenes were largely “the same” scenes and acts repeated over and over. Usually preceded by her “not gonna”, but then doing it anyway. I honestly found the whole storyline was redundant. I hate a read where the author has nothing to say to build his story so he just repeats the same theme infinitum. I can read the 1st line...and maybe 1st and last sentence of each paragraph and miss absolutely nothing, for several pages even! Because RR talks repeatedly about how weak and submissive Zoe was for her dad and Bryant. How he chose her college for her. How she wanted to stand up to him How tired she was of having him run her life...blah, blah, blah!! Her father and Bryant just got more and more sleezy and bad-guy theme becomes a bore. Rather linear and not at all riveting. But completed it. I saw it through primarily b/c of an affinity for Connor. Interesting the bestie girlfriend just virtually disappeared early and returns in last scene.. Nicde idea, but poor development.

I cannot tell you how excruciatingly it was for me to finish this book. it was well written but I have to say that the h was just stupid.stubborn and not in a good way and OMG was she weak weak weak. I cannot stand a weak woman. even in my fiction and the H was not nearly as Alpha as I like. although that seems to be the style with this author just an fyi...not quite as Alpha as I would like and not nearly as much as the summary would have you believe. So I would have given it one star or even two stars because of these things but I gave it three because I was really well written I don't like that the h runs from the H without listening to his explanation and then turns out to be completely 100% in the wrong. and the H getting beat up is unacceptable to me. I don't think I'll be reading any more books by this author because I have read several already and I have picked up on the pattern of H's that are not Alpha enough and h's that I don't like very much.

If you can stick to this book through the first 7-8 chapters, you’ve got a pretty good read. Conner and Zoe’s story, once you get over that hump, is well written, interesting, well paced read. Zoe, although a whimp, the majority of the book, finally “womaned-up” near the end. And boy, is Zoe’s father a major jerk.

Taking Her is an entertaining, well written book and my first book by this author. Zoe and Connor have great chemistry and go on quite a journey to get their HEA. This book was so well written and the characters were so believable that I was hooked right from the first page until the last. It was fast paced and had a lot of drama and suspense. But throughout everything, once Connor and Zoe meet for the first time there is an instant attraction that they both try to fight against but end up fighting for instead. I highly recommend this book for your personal library. I liked it so much that I bought my own copy.

The accidental meeting lawyer Zoe and former rock star Conner was explosive. The two find themselves on two different sides of a lawsuit which turned what was supposed to be an anonymous one night stand into Conner pursuing Zoe. However Zoe’s lawyer dad and his partner have sinister plans for Conner. Absolutely a fabulous read.

Connor has over come addiction. Connor is a Musician, artist and business owner. Zoe is trying to get away from her controlling father. Zoe's father likes intimidates, bullies and treats her with disrespect. Izzy Zoe's friend tries to give Zoe advice but Zoe is to scared. Zoe thinks that her friend hired an escort. Connor is confused on why he is there but goes along with it. I enjoyed reading this book. I loved the storyline and plot. The storyline was well written, the plot flowed smoothly from page to page and the characters were so well developed that I remained engaged throughout the entire book! As I turned each page I was so engrossed with the story that I ended up reading this book in one evening! I highly recommend reading anything this author writes!

The lies, the betrayal, the trickery and that is all just from Zoe's father. Zoe is such a sweet person who just wants to be taken seriously as a lawyer. Conner is the rock star that just wants to live his life the best he can after his game and addiction took control. I loved how these two had insistent connection and chemistry. Loved how this story played out. I was addicted to this book from the first chapter. Lots of ups and downs, lots of sexy scenes, and a whole lot of love. Fantastic book!

I received an Advanced Copy for my honest opinion. Wow R.R Banks never fails to weave a good story and this one is no different. If you love suspense, passion and a alpha male then you will love this read!!! The words flowed together with action that will hold your attention until the end! I do not want to give away any spoilers but I would highly recommend this read! 5stars!!!!!!!!!!!

I really liked Connor and Zoe’s story. The story is fast-paced with plenty of drama and suspense. The characters have great chemistry and really draw you into the story. I was hooked from beginning to end.

The book altogether was good. Little too much back and forth and hatred between her and her father/coworker. Not enough connection between her and Connor. Wish I could’ve connected with them more. She was SO stubborn. I get it, I’m stubborn also. But, she acted like a teenager sometimes with her refusal to listen to what someone had to say or talk about how much she wanted to have a backbone, would stick up for herself one second then completely get walked all over two minutes later. Whiplash.
