Mack Daddy

Another great book by Penelope Ward. I've read all her books and they get better every time. There is something in the flow of her books that has me devouring them. I can't wait to turn the page.

The characters have depth and great chemistry. The secondary characters provide the completeness to the story. Mack and Frankie are no exception. You can't help but feel right along with them.

I can't even stress how frickin fantastic this was! You want to talk about laughing your ass off, I laughed until it hurt. The way Mack and Frankie met... I can't even... good Lord that was just *cackling* refreshing. Not to mention his sudden "author talent". A must read. Where can I find my MACK DADDY?

This was a sweet love story about second chances. Frankie and Mack were college roommates who after an initial awkward meeting became close friends that eventually lead to stronger feelings. Nothing happened between these two in those days due to Mack having a girlfriend. Fast forward 8 years and Mack is back and ready to fight for Frankie. The story is told in dual POV in ends on a good note.

I have been counting the days down until this book was released Penelope Ward is my favorite author. This is a second chance romance between Francesca and Mackenzie aka Mack Daddy who met in college originally and meet again 8 years later when Mack brings his son to Frankie's school where she is a teacher. Soon Frankie realizes Mack came back for her and he is going to fight for her. Told as a dual POV.

I hate giving Ward anything less than 5 stars but even 4 is a stretch. I like Mack somewhat but none if these characters are realistic and all are underwhelming. Victor is pathetic and really are there people like him in the works? My least fav book by this author

This story addresses something many of us may suffer from..... social anxiety and OCD. no matter your age these can cause tremendous amount to stress and discomfort. With that known, you also meet Mack Daddy, who suffers through trying to do what's right when being manipulated and lied to for years. But as all good HEA books, it will be a worthwhile battle in the end.

It was boring drawn out, very predictable where the story line went with his father and girlfriend . A lot of stories like this you need new inspiration. Be more creative. Sorry finished but thats about it.

Your ruined me with this Penelope. Ruined!

And did I say romance? Not the silly. Juvenile kind, the kind that doesn't only get hot, but has the emotional groundswell to ruin you.

Wow! Just, wow!

I enjoyed this book. I was a bit apprehensive when I realized Francesca ("Frankie") was in a relationship. I don't like love triangles. However it didn't read like a traditional love triangle. I also kinda figured out where the story was going and what was going to happen at one point. It ruined any chance of surprise but I still liked the story.

I really enojoyed reading Mack Daddy. The crazy story of Frankie and Mack had me fliping the pages as fast as I could. I love all the little quirky character flaws of Frankie. The endearing and venerable side of Mack had me falling for him.

I laughed, I cried, I fought with them, and then cried some more. In the end the HEA was more than worth the wait.

I know my heading sounds cornet but honestly , it last all I could think of, what a special group of characters in this book . Mack was the sweetest and most passionate man. Frankie was sweet & loving and everything he needed. I loved this tale of love & devotion . When u truly love someone you never forget them . A true sentiment to Mack & Franke .

I loved this book!!! Mack was one hot daddy!!! This was a great read for me. I loved how Frankie and Mack's relationship grew when they were younger, even though things changed. They had crazy hot chemistry, I could FEEL it. I Swooned so hard during this book, there were plenty of LOL moments. I often found myself with a smile on my face.

From experience I knew that Penelope Ward can make any situation a gut wrenching one. So I was just waiting for it to happen in this book. At first I thought things were going all too well, and then the drama became pretty apparent. Whew.

Another excellent book from and excellent author.

This book was terrible. Her heroines are always taking way too much verbal abuse. The dialogue sounded like it was written by the 5 yr old in it.
It just seem like it didntcome from the person who wrote Jake Undone

Liked the story,HEA, romantic with mystery and intrigue. H/h were likeable and I liked the love they had for one another. Although it was listed as a romantic comedy, it is not but interesting enough that read it one setting. I thoroughly the story and it is well worth reading.

This book was a pleasant surprise. Going into it I wasn't expecting to get so emotional. Frankie and Mack proved without a doubt that love really does conquer all!! Mack never stopped fighting for Frankie, and she let him show her that he always loved her. This was an amazing love story that everyone needs to read!!!

Totally swoon worthy and a great guy! Frankie is such a great character with some quirks that are endearing. I highly recommend this read and hold on to your panties girls, Mack Daddy will make them fall off

Frankie and Mack fell for each other in college but circumstances kept them apart. 7 years later, Mack finds himself in Boston enrolling his son into Frakies class. Things won't be easy, true love never is... but with an opportunity staring them in the face - they just might have to take the chance

I love how PW writes these beautiful flawed characters that you can relate to in the book. Mack and Frankie's second chance has some twist and turn but Mack never gives up.. Their connection to each other is their strength. This is a wonderful tender love story that will keep you wanting more. Such a good read.

I always love a good second chance romance. This book started right off with the angst, did not relent and I loved every minute of it. This book definitely puts you on an emotional rollercoaster that you will wish would go on and on. The chemistry is great and lots of twists to keep you wanting more!

This was a super cute kind of second chance romance. I loved the opposites attract vibe but Mack and Frankie were super cute together. I also very much enjoyed the storyline, and the twists at the end were excellent.

I enjoyed this second chance story and read it in one sitting. The book also addressed a medical condition that I thought was a good opportunity to shed light on impacts with mental health. I enjoyed learning about the characters in a past/present format. The ending was also good and left me with a smile.

What happens when you never really get over your first love? You need to read this amazing story about a love that was never quite healed. It was amazing to read from the past how their love developed and then bring the reader back to present day in seeing each other again. Ward is an amazing story teller.

This book has a surprisingly amount of depth and twist for a romance novel. It has some rather unpredictable developments that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I really enjoyed the witty banter amongst the characters and it has a rather satisfying ending as well. Highly recommend!

Another great book written by Penelope, I loved reading about Frankie and Macks story you can't helped but be invested in their lives and all that involves. You go through a range of different emotions, I loved this book!

Loved this story and the second chance at happiness that Mack and Frankie were given. Life isn't always like a romance novel, but it is definitely like this romance novel. Not everything happens when we want or expect it to happen, but it can always turn out for the best.

Wonderful book by a brilliant author. I loved the characters and the long road they traveled to find themselves, truth and happiness.
Penelope Wards books are always filled with conflict, humor, heartbreak and passion. Loved it !!!

What an amazing story. Mack and Frankie’s story had it all heartbreaking, heartwarming, history, and of course romance. I loved most of the secondary characters. I could not have asked for a better ending to the story and epilogue.

MUCH more to this book than I expected. Just based on the title I thought it'd be a lot lighter than it was, I was totally blown away when I got into it. Love triangles, angst, criminals, sneaky politics.... this book had it all.

Loved this by Penelope Ward. Very light hearted and swoon worthy. I was crying and laughing and saying "aww"' out loud numerous times sometimes all that the same time. Highly recommend t his stand alone.

I love how Penelope brings to life struggles that sometimes we don't know other people have. And how with love every situation can be overcome. Love her writing. A little slow at the beginning but it picks up to amaze you.

I love anything written by Penelope Ward. And Mack Daddy was no exception. Very well written. And what woman doesn't love a man that takes care of his responsibilities. Nothing sexier than a man being a good father.

Loved ,loved, loved this! Penelope has written my favorite book of the year! I love second chance stories, and this one was most unique! Mack and Frankie' s story will stay with you for a good long time. I want more!

The book kept your interest was cute and exciting without being overly sexual. The characters were easy to get to know and made you grow fond of them. Keep up the good writing I look forward to your future books.

Just love love loved this book. it was heartbreaking and hopeful at the same time, and then the out of left field belly drop. but I would recommend this to anyone. If you have it on you TBR move it up the list.

This author never ceases to amaze me with her writing!! She gets better, better and better. I Loved every moment of this story. I loved the dialogues, the chemistry, the drama, the passion... I LOVED everything!

Penelope Waed I'm absolutely love your books! And this one tops them all. What can I say about Mack??? He is definitely one of my favorites. Can't wait to see what is next! Absolutely recommend reading!!!
