I liked the book. There are some missed spellings but I was able to figure them out. I can't wait to read the next story. I liked the characters in this book. Hopefully they will make an appearance in the next book.

I really liked this book. The characters were well developed and likeable as well as funny. The author had a great storyline and threw in enough twists to keep you reading. I look forward to the next book.

I was hooked right from the beginning.
Well written (occasionally there would be a word that I'm not sure was in the proper tense) and fast paced.
I look forward to reading more in this series.

I rather liked this book. It had an interesting take on shifters. I noticed references to other paranormal beings and I'm curious to see how they would be handled in this world she created. One thing I liked was that there weren’t just wolf or just cat shifters but bird shifters also. I thought the idea of true mates intriguing and I wanted to learn more about the tattoos and eye color stuff.
Everything was wrapped up nicely in this book, which was cool, but I kinda had the feeling that it got that way too nicely. The ultimate reasoning behind the pride having to hide was intense, who doesn’t think fanatics are freaky in the first place? But, that last show down seemed to be a bit predictable, especially since everything seemed to be working out nicely between everyone … except that one person so what happened seemed obvious to me.
I’m sorry if I don’t have commentary on the story itself, but I just decided to go off of what I felt for the book as a whole instead of talking about parts of it. Over all I enjoyed the book and thought it a nice, quick read.

Shifters - i thought that nothing would surprise me in that topic, but I'm glad i was wrong! IT was a quick read full of back story and emotions.
We start with vision but can IT be changed? What are they willing to do just to protect their pride?
Raygan - an Alpha that will make your legs shake, but due to his manly thinking mostly. And i would love to have his cat ;)
Aisling - lone shifter that has her own way but will she be able to find herself with Raygan and others under her root? I really enjoyed her character as she was master of her own!
I really liked whole back story as it was very detailed and full. That was new to me - different cat spieces in one pride - interesting concept!

This book is a great beginning to an interesting and kick but NPR series. This book specifically has a really kick ass alpha female who also has a ton of empathy for any that are oppressed. I also loved the world in which this story takes place which is a time after feminist vampires ruled for decades. So it is a time of change and thus a chance for the characters to each improve their lot in life.

This book wasn't bad, but the story was predictable for the most part. The writing could have been better. The author just flew by the plot when she could have taken the time to flesh it out more because the writing has potential.

I liked it. Entertaining read; fast-paced, novella-length. Strong female lead is always a plus! Knocked off a star because the conflict resolution at the end was a little too neat and quick for my tastes.
