Karen researches areas in her books so that the situations are real. I learned some new ways of dealing with a failing heart. I love the thought that we do have guardian angels. But angels are not to be worshipped, they are messengers of God.

This book has placed a new perspective on the verse that says " For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12

Karen Kingsbury is a superb author. Her books are extremely well-written and I enjoy them so much, I am going back and getting her earlier novels to read. The Angels Walking series is phenomenal. I will be looking forward to more in this series.

WONDERFUL! This book is very inspiring and touched my heart and spirit over and over. I didn't want to read it so fast, but I couldn't stop reading because it was so interesting. I can't wait to start the next one. There was nothing that I disliked about the book. I would recommend it to anyone from a young teenager to a senior. I chose a 5 star rating because that was the best rating offered.

I am never disappointed with any books by Karen. Although fiction always inspirational. The facts allow bring to mind that the devil is always hard at work to destroy and pray and heavenly realms are in constant warfare on our behalf. Praising God for another great book.

The third book in the Angels Walking was amazing. I tried to put it down and could not. God was with the characters through every trial because of prayers prayed by the Christian people. Thanks, Karen Kingsbury, for another inspiring book.

Magical? No, angelical!
Straight to my heart. Love to think of angels surrounding me, surrounding us. The Angels Walking series does just that, touches your heart and reminds you of God’s work to protect you. And of loving you.

I have read almost every Karen Kingsbury book written and love the way she writes. This is the 3rd in a novel series about angels in everyday life. I am only sorry she is not writing more in this series. However, I feel that way when I finish each series I have read.

I've enjoyed the Angels Walking series so far. I liked Tyler and Sami's story, and I especially liked the focus in the second book on the community work that Tyler, Sami, Mary Catherine, and Marcus were doing. The part about the angels was a bit fun and different. In this book, I continued to enjoy Sami as a character and especially her role in helping Lexy.

This one, though, was predictable to the point of being boring. I agree with other reviewers who struggled with the angels bending rules (by lying while sending an email). It was a pretty contrived and unnecessary plot device. In fact, the whole "Mary Catherine to Africa" thing was ridiculous--who would do that when they're so sick they need a heart transplant? It was unfair not only to her friends and family but also to the mission agency that would have to deal with a seriously ill worker. Nor can I believe that either her doctor or the mission agency would go along with the plan, either. Again--unnecessary. You could have had the tension of her illness resolved without that part.

There were a couple of other things that bugged me. The reference to Kingsbury's own son-in-law as "one of Mary Catherine's favorites" was a bit precious and self-indulgent. And, after three books of it, the incessant preaching about healthy eating got irritating. It's a good message, and apparently Karen has made some life changes after having the Flanigans eating sloppy joe mix from Costco and always referring to her husband "driving through Taco Bell after practice when I've been editing." Good for her, but it was overkill, especially in this third book.

I did, however, get a little kick out of the brief encounter with Dayne and Katy Matthews. That was well done and fun.

This series is wonderful and inspiring. Gives reminders that God truly is involved and caring and that the other is involved too. I have appreciated each book in this series and was saddened to it is the last.

I could not put this book down. As always, Karen made the characters so real that I would catch myself thinking that they really exist. I enjoyed and appreciated thinking about guardian angels who fight on our behalf.
