It's Patterson never disappoints come on doesn't need my measly comments my number one author in every genre even me and My children read the stories written by for children together. I also thoroughly enjoyed his sentimental individual stand alone books as much as his series lines, lastly his true life story that stands out to me the most was great heather jearker that he wrote with guidance and personal experience of child life long struggle of a child with terets syndrome. Felt the love the fear and hope through that story for I have child with aspergers. Who is I.Q. level is off the charts .on the hand has an antisocial behavior and prefer to speak to adults because he understands and relates to an adult world·.hard life when other children don't understand your language.his friends are playing games, enjoy the outdoors , don't know anything about computers. He will set up game for th Graham in school.while he on his computer is creating program. My visitors favorite hing about him is that when his teacher is going t be (e his sets Brandan up to aid her / him(the sub) not only follow the lesson plans but, also has brandann do the compute computer lessons for them for the day, he also handle the promethean board because it's knew to most teachers know the basics of how to use.Brandan taught himself to read and write at 3 1/2 years old.so one you started writing kids series he is on it.how this relates to school is your books are some of favorites .he would prefer to read instruction manual which is why he know how to work the brand knew promethean board better than any of the teacher.he shouted them all the additional cool things it can do. So the correlation is that thanks to and your books he not has found a love of reading everything. I get a little credit only because I teach by example. All four of my children are readers and I hope that was influenced by me. Since I don't leave home without a book and at home if can't read I multitask I listen to my book while cleaning.

(WARNING: SPOILERS!)
James Patterson is my all time favorite author but he writes all his books similarly. I know how he writes his books. The first books are amazing but by the third or fourth book, he’s just dragging it out too long and you just wanted him to end it. For example, I love the Witch and Wizard series but this book turned out to be like a copycat of the others. This book, The Lost, was just too similar to the others. First of all, Pearce is the main “bad guy” in this book. It’s exactly like the other books. Pearce comes back even through Wisty and Whit could have killed him at the end of the last book. To me, that is lame. You just know he’s coming back. I had hope for you, James Patterson! I thought he would at least try to change it up. Even, how Pearce can turn into another person trick, tricked Wisty, again. I thought after the whole Heath thing with Wisty, she had learned her lesson.
Again with bringing back all the old villains, he brought back the One who is the One. I thought we’d take care of him. And he used his son’s soul to take over the world? That was lame. And how Whit gave up his magic so quickly?! That was even lamer! That was just upsetting to see his father immediately tell Whit to leave and how he couldn’t be apart of the family. So to his father, if Whit doesn’t have magic, he immediately hates him. And how fast Whit turned out to wanting his magic from Wisty, once he realized Wisty could give him some of her magic was a little sad. He immediately regretted his decision and completely ruined his relationship with Janine. And how fast they got back together after he got his magic was frustrating! He only loved Janine when he had his magic. And it’s almost like if he didn’t have his magic, he wouldn’t love Janine anymore.
The horsemen plot twist was quite boring. If you don’t know, the horsemen were supposedly magical until Whit put two and two together. How the horsemen made the people in the town dig holes for the portal was again, boring. Almost every single book was mainly about the portals and how the Underworld zombies would eat them! I feel like all the books are about that and he needs to expand on different issues in books.
Oh, and Byron, at the end, how he died? I feel James just killed him off too quickly and Wisty didn’t even act too mournful at the end. When he died, Wisty wasn’t as heartbroken as she should have been. He literally gave his life up for her. Wisty’s reaction was very poorly written/explained.
Again, the ending was the same speech Wisty and Whit always gives at the end. I loved the first books and I had a lot of hope for this one. I feel like he’s just dragging this series out for money at this point. This book was an action filled, page turner but it was just a copy of the others.
